Pokémon Ω-Ruby and Α-Sapphire

  1. Just brought up in the XY thread, though I figured that it might as well get a seperate thread. Either way yeah, at long last, Ruby and Sapphire remakes have been announced in the forms of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which will be released worldwide in November.

  4. The instrumentation in Gen III has been some of my favorite, ever, in Nintendo games, period. Can't wait to hear all dem hornz in a glorious increased value of production. Other than that, Gen III for me is probably my favorite region. It just was released at a time when I had some great friends in elementary school that were all into Pokemon and having it come out was a huge highlight of my youngest years, alongside Fire Emblem 7 coming to the West a little later. I'm eagerly looking forward to resurrecting my obligatory Level 100 female Pelipper, Pelly, into a 3D landscape. :5

  8. Meanwhile, I'm kinda hoping that they can sneak Regigigas into the region because of the Regi trio already being there. I don't know how they'd pull that off, but if they do..

    Anyway, given the fact that I'm getting both games as usual, I'm most likely gonna choose Omega Ruby as my main and go Sceptile all the way! And as strange as it sounds, Alpha Sapphire, I'll be going with Swampert.

  17. TBPH I actually liked a good chunk of Hoenn Pokémon, moooostly due to Orre. Granted the movesets were pretty shit back then but, well…

  18. Once again, the super ambiguous "never before seen Pokemon" has been used to describe the Groudon and Kyogre on the box art.

    And in case it wasn't already obvious enough, Satoru Iwata has confirmed that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are indeed full remakes of Ruby and Sapphire.


    Yeeeaaah, something tells me we're gonna have to wait until CoroCoro next month for something substantial if this is all the exciting news we're getting right now.
