Pokémon Ω-Ruby and Α-Sapphire

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous Conjectures' started by Lord X-Giga-X, May 7, 2014.

  1. My friend doesn't believe me when I tell him this exists. I even showed him pics of this too LOL

  2. Try linking to either the video uploaded to the official Pokemon YT channel or just the official site. If they still don't believe you after that, they're obviously in denial.

  3. Yeah he told me he hated everything about R/S....he said pokemon and music sucked...I refrained from hitting him. He then said FrLg was best because it had two regions(Johto and kanto) literally everyone in the room started to laugh. LOL

  4. w-what.

Hoenn was my least favourite generation (TBH the only thing Kanto has over it is nostalgia factor) and even I liked shit about it (the Pokémon and the battle music for starters).

    I call bullshittery.

  5. He's either a very skilled troll or a very bad one.

    Also, Hoenn up top.

  6. So apparently, Pokémon Get☆TV will be showcasing actual game footage on the 11th (which would be the 10th for most of us when it airs). Watch it just be a few seconds of walking around like we got with HeartGold and SoulSilver.

  7. Or surfing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b11wQWkANHw For anyone who feels like seeing it live or whatever. Idk.

  8. Not even close. This is all we got from that:

To be fair though, Groudon and Kyogre look pretty damn awesome.

  9. Are we getting a tiny bit more sneak peaks next week? or.....

(Btw holy fuck Groudon and Kyogre look very badass. Much hype for that scene in the game.)

  10. Nothing's really been said regarding that. And this month's issue of CoroCoro basically promised "new content" in the next issue, which would be released after E3. So really, I'm assuming that this is all we're getting this month.

  11. So it is now June, so I assume everyone's waiting for E3 or CoroCoro for actual new stuff.

WELL GUESS WHAT?! COROCORO HAS LEAKED FOLKS, AND WE'VE GOT OURSELVES SOME AWESOME NEW STUFF!

So in this new issue, three new Mega Evolutions have been revealed:

-As expected, Sceptile has a Mega Evolution, in which it goes from a pure-Grass type to Grass-Dragon and gains the ability.... Lightning Rod? O-Oookay....
-As expected, Swampert has a Mega Evoltuion in which its type remains unchanged and it gains the ability Swift Swim.
-Strange enough though, Diancie has its own Mega Evolution. Yeah, a bit random, but oookay... Its ability has yet to be revealed, which probably means it's something completely new, or they're being dicks and keeping it a secret. Honestly, either one's believeable.

On a related note, Steven Stone appears to researching Mega Evolutions now, and appears to have a Mega Charizard X. And the item needed to activate the Mega Evolutions in this game is the Mega Bangle.

As for the new Groudon and Kyogre, they are actually their Primal/Prehistoric/Primeval formes, and are actually a regression known as Ancient Devolution.

Both teams are back as expected, and are to be fought as normally. However, everyone's gone through a major redesign.

And the Acro and Mach Bikes return as expected.

And that's all that's been revealed so far. I'll gather the scans in this post a bit later, but for now, enjoy!

    EDIT:

  12. ... Actually. Guys. Do ANY of you see anything different with Primal Groudon and Kyogre other than markings and a bit of color?

I was joking when I mentioned it on IRC earlier, but they're really starting to remind me of Primal Dialga.

  13. Okay, a couple of hours late, but I've caught up.

Sooo yeah, Nintendo E3 live event has come and gone, and most of the things leaked in the issue of CoroCoro have been confirmed. Then again, not much of a chance of it being fake.

Though, we got some minor new info.

Yep, looks it like was Primal Groudon, who ends up becoming Ground/Fire after undergoing Primal Reversion.
And Primal Kyogre, who doesn't go through a type change.... Ah well!

We also got a new map of Hoenn:
Oh god, look at all of that water. Aaagh, this is gonna suck... And what is that evil-looking thing in the north? Map decoration or new place?! clearly map decoration

    And video.

  14. Apparently, we're not done with E3 yet, as we have yet another new Mega. Behold, Mega Sableye!

  15. Was a given.

    mega flygon pls

  16. And we have ourselves another video. This one finally shows off the starters and their Megas, in addition to Mega Diancie. We also get another look at the redesigned Team Magma and Team Aqua Grunts.

EDIT: And after looking at things, the sites have updated once again. Although from looking at some of the screenshots they have for Steven Stone, it definitely looks like the carving that features one of the two legendaries in their Primal formes is in the first place we meet him: Granite Cave. Interesting...

If you want to check it out for yourselves, go here.

  17. Oh -fuck- the brass hurts.

But, well, I'm an idiot for having hoped for anything else.

  18. dat music

    <3

Oh man the nostalgia for my old Ruby version is overflowing <3

  19. More revealed on Mega Sableye. But first, artwork:

Man, that reflection of it in that giant jewel...

Anyway, so it keeps its original typing, but gains the ability Magic Bounce. And as its Def and Sp Atk increase, its Speed decreases.
