Pokémon X and Y

  1. True, silva is both Latin and Portuguese for forest; but, Sylphs are wind elementals and the resemblance to a kite is weird.

    Although slyphs and nymphs - connection is where...?

    (I still want it to be Dragon type or Normal type.)

    So many other rumors, but I'm not even gonna post them because most of them sound really stupid. Anyway, we're getting closer to when the next CoroCoro issue's coming out, and we're promised more about Sylveon in it. Hopefully, we'll get more in addition to that because let's face it, last issue was somewhat... disappointing...

  9. After a month of literally nothing, we're getting some XY news next Saturday, including the reveal of a new Pokemon.

  11. Okay, if there's anyone who isn't caught up in the XY info released within the last few weeks, here's a basic summary:

    On the March 31st episode of Pokemon Smash, the preview for the episode showed an image of a Pokemon covered by a question mark. This of course showed that most likely, we'd be getting a new Pokemon soon. So thus began a week-long wait to see what it would be...

    So just a few days after that, the following image began to appear on various sites, showing an apparent new forme of Mewtwo:

    Now, of course people were skeptical, since- of course- it was unconfirmed at the time. And looking at it myself, I could agree with many of the people wishing it was fake.

    And then the April 7th episode of Pokemon Smash aired and revealed this:

    The same Pokemon shown it the poster above. BUT it was not confirmed that it was a new forme of Mewtwo, and the Pokemon sites even hinted to it being a new Pokemon. So, with that, many thought that this would be...

    Mewthree.

    But even so, we were promised more information regarding it in the trailer for the upcoming movie on April 18th, but we knew it was likely that CoroCoro would reveal more on it before then.

    And boy, did it. CoroCoro pretty much revealed the Pokemon to in fact be a new forme of Mewtwo. Now, we don't have any other information regarding this new forme (name, height, weight, ability, etc), but we do know one thing...

    Many people are pissed.

  12. Original leaks referred to it as the Eclair form, which is apparently French for "Flash". Unconfirmed as I heard this from literally one person.

    I kinda like the design, as much as I dislike them messing with older Pokemon. It's probably going to be a beast competitively... I'm thinking maybe either an increase in Speed or in SpDef. Either way, I typically don't use Mewtwo, so...

    But my point: je n'aime du tout. Formes, they are overused and I do not like this. At all.

  15. So the trailer for the movie came out and showed Mewtwo transforming into its new forme and bleh...

    It also showed a bit from the short featuring the Eeveelutions. What has this shown about Sylveon?

    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Or maybe something. idk. Watch the trailer and see for yourselves.

  16. Kudamon ~ I don't think so. I'm still not sure the Therian forms (that doesn't even make sense for Tornadus, which is porttrayed as a bird, which is not a mammal?) have grown on me. I doubt this will, also.

  17. To be honest I like the Therian formes better than the original ones. XD

    Design-wise, of course. Same with Mewtwo here.

  18. Once again, it's come to that time where we're waiting for CoroCoro to leak so we can get new information. We should be getting a lot of it this time, seeing as that what we seem to be getting in the May 19th episode of Pokemon Smash.

    If anything, the following questions will be answered:
    -Where is this taking place?
    -Who's the professor person?
    -Are we ever gonna get artwork for the protagonists?
    -Can we get some new Pokemon please?!

    Among other questions, but at this point, those four are sure to get answers imo.

  19. I hope we get some really good info this time around. I may be wrong but it seems like we've gotten so much less than we did with Gen V and X&Y are approaching relatively soon. Personally I want them to just announce Sylveon's type already just so all the people screaming for a new type will shut up about it.

  20. Giga: Early CoroCoro leaks have several of your answers!

    The Region: The Karos Region (seems to be based upon France). The main city seems to be Miare City [Serebii]
    Artwork: There is customization on the trainers. From hair colour to skin tone, it seems in the leaks.
    New Pokemon!: These four little beauties:
