  1. Seeing the same man that she pummeled into unconsciousness last night brought forth a bubbling anger in Asima. He was still picking on refugees. She clenched her fist. She might be little more rough with him tonight. Make sure he gang up on people for awhile. "HEY!" the girl yelled through clenched teeth. She marched forward, hands balled into fists. A crack of the knuckles, and her knuckles cracked on the bum's skull. "Hey jackass! Remember me!?" she snarled, making eye contact with Harlan.

    Asima moves to D6! (C7 > C6 > D6)

    Asima uses Trigger Command: Fisticuffs on Oliver! 6 Atk per hit, 2 hits!
     
  2. "Now now, there's no need to-Uwah!"

    The lithe man tried to dart away before a large hand wrapped itself around his collar, choking him before tugging him backward. Theodahn looked up nervously as he was hoisted like a fish on a hook; his worried eyes as beige as the desert he came from reflecting the large man's ire. The captive's hands tried to pry the one that imprisoned him, but it was a vain effort. 

    "Uh, well, this doesn't have to end in such a... crude and violent manner," his shaky voice pleaded as it resorted to diplomacy, "I am sure there's many other uses for the hands of someone as physically adept as you. Like..." Theo's eyes darted as he tried to come to an answer, "knitting! Or maybe, since we're in a tavern, you could do some cabaret. Something other than bloodying them with my... blood-"

    At that moment, a loud, cacophonous, "HEY!" shattered the tension of the scene. Theo couldn't see over his captor's broad features, but he knew he had to take advantage of this moment; right when the figure bumrushed one of Harlan's cronies, the scholar tried once more to pry himself from the grasp. With some tearing on the collar of his robe, he manages to free himself; his feet darting the moment they hit the ground. After nearly hurdling over a chair, he finally finds an opportunity to grasp his surroundings and himself. The figure that saved him was a girl quite a few years younger than he was, but probably twice as intimidating. He flashed a quick, warm smile to his benefactor before turning his attention to the thugs.

    "Th-Thank you, miss. I wasn't sure if I was going to get out of that one."

  4. Seems like these two have some kind of history, Theo thought as the loud, boisterous man shouted. The warm smile he gave earlier turns into a stern grimace as Harlan closed the distance he created, I suppose violence will be the only way to solve this.  

    "What is it you have against me?"  cried the robed man, "I've done nothing wrong!" 

    Theo rings Malediction on Harlan! The cacophony deals 7 HP damage!

  5. The girl bared her teeth in a ferocious snarl. "Yeah, the same one that kicked your ass last night, and will do the same again!" She wanted to lunge at him, but her new ally was in the way, and the duo was getting boxed in by the drunkards. "Oh for the love of...I don't have time for this," she hissed, swinging another heavy fist at  the bum in front of her.

  7. The first guy went down with a thud. Asima flexed her fists, and once more snarled at Harlan, like some sort of beast trapped in a teenage girl's body. Within a few moments, she was surrounded by angry drunks on three sides, each of them throwing punches at her. The first two weren't bad (even though Harlan hit like a bucking horse)  but the third hit had her seeing stars. No matter, she thought, gritting her teeth. "I think the knight saved YOUR ass more!"

    Asima swung at Harlan, aiming straight at his drunken face.

  8. Theo winced reflexively as he anticipated the leader of the thugs to give him a thorough walloping but... the hit never came. Instead, that hit was delivered to the grisly girl, who was the new source of his irate behavior. Despite the rabid assault, it didn't seem to phase the girl at all; infact, she was starting to seem more determined than when the battle started. Still, it was in his nature not to see someone get so seriously hurt over his behalf, and thankfully he is able to solve such a problem on his own merits.

    "Don't worry, I'll try and keep you covered... to a degree!"  he declared.

  10. The girl nodded at her comrade. "Thanks," she said to him. Her voice softened only slightly, but her ferocity immediately returned as soon as she looked back at her nemesis.

  11. Despite sustaining even more damage after the fact, the girl seemed to fight with more ferocity than she did before. Still, as much as he didn't want to see his rescuer come to harm, he was swiftly reaching his limit. He found it more prudent to try and end the battle faster, instead, before it grew more out of control.

  16. Theodahn let out a loud gasp as the last of his breath got knocked out of his lungs with extreme force. He was not expecting his aggressor to suddenly shove his bar-buddy aside to give such a vindictive lash to the scholar. Especially with the girl holding all his ire just a moment ago. The young man huffed and wheezed trying to replenish his lost oxygen, his vision blurred from the sudden physical trauma. Using the last of his strength, he pulled himself together to give his chime another ring.

    Theo used Benediction on himself! 4 HP healed!

  17. Asima helped the man get to his feet, even giving him a little shove as she shuffled past him to face the drunken ringleader. "Oi, you sunnova bitch," she hissed, glaring at Harlan, "you're fighting me now." She bared her teeth, grunting and swinging another heavy punch towards him.
