    I like all of your ideas! :D It would seem that most of us agree that we should be in smaller groups at first, so unless some people disagree, let's do it.

    So, now that we have that decided, should we start discussing possible starting groups? I think that the groups should be made up of characters who both compliment each other with their abilities and contradict each other in other ways, such as morales and their genre. Now would also be a good time to start discussing what character(s) we'll use in the roleplay. I think I've got some ideas on what characters I can use. Kenneth Hill, Bruce Steel, and Captain Fighter (From The Ultimate Tournament and it's second and third entries, respectively) are currently three I plan to use. I'm also considering Voltage (From Statistical Colosseum) and Starbuck Kaden, (From Pokemon: Raised to Win, as a possible minor villain) in addition to a few other characters. What about you guys?

    First off I'd rather we get a profile thread up before we discuss teams, because we have no clue who'll be put into this in the first place. People can guarantee certain characters, but preferably I'd like to look through all the profiles that /will/ be up, not ones that are guaranteed to be up.

    It would probably help if we start a profile thread early on, but before that, I think we should decide on which plot we want to use. So, will it be...

    1. Heroes vs Villains. The Reapers gather heroes to defeat a group of ZEJ villains.

    2. ZEJ and Reapers vs Original Villain. The Reapers send some of their less-powerful ranks based off various ZEJ members to gather ZEJ heroes and possibily villains and defeat one of their ancient enemies.

    3. Another idea. If you have an idea, please speak up like Zar'roc did.

    Speaking of which, I think we should incorporate Zar'roc's idea into whatever plot we choose. As for original characters, I'm sure they would be okay if you don't have more than a few characters that you want to use. If we were to go with idea 2, everyone would get at least one Reaper to control, so that would work too.

    Lolno. There are non-gendered characters.

    Option 2 sounds the most interesting, for it'll definitely give problems and drama with villains working with allies.

    One quick note: Unless the character was some form of other race, I suggest all characters would be reduced to a completely human state, and each character has an assigned Reaper that would give them powers.

    Oh, and each Reaper brings its own set of powers that are of different types (Like Pokemon!). For example, Eebit could bring Grass type powers /shot

    It seems that I have have chosen to come back at the most excellent time possible! I am in full support of this idea Brawlinator! You get the official Zantok seal of Approval.

    I too only have a small handful of characters to use in this but it looks as if it will be ever so fun. Can't wait. I rather like Rose's idea to have the characters more or less stripped of special powers and then new powers coudl be given to them by their assigned Reaper.

    And here I was going to possibly use Jason from the Euthora-Roul series/Cult of Ustream/Oblivion Phantasy ~ The Obstinate Oddysey. He's not human; he's a shapeshifter which means, obviously, he can inherently turn into animals. Would he retain this or...?


    On another note, yeah, option 2 sounds fun. :>

    Would we be able to use characters from dead role-plays (like RotK) or ones from Magnolia? Cause I have a character I wouldn't mind bringing in from nightfall (although if powers are stripped, it wouldn't really matter)

    It looks like I have a lot to respond to. :p The Male vs Female idea sounds interesting, but as CrazE said, there are characters without genders.

    Rose's idea also sounds interesting, and is something we could do. However, I don't think the characters' powers should be entirely taken away at first. Maybe their powers and lifeforce, in addition to those of the worlds and their inhabitants, could slowly be drained by the villain and his artifact, causing them to become weaker and weaker as the roleplay goes on. Eventually, their powers would be fully drained, and the Reapers, who would be unaffected would have to give them a portion of their powers. My favorite part of this idea is giving the Reapers elemental abilities. I think the powers should go beyond the elements of Pokemon, though, because I want my Reaper to be "Technology-Type". :p (No, Electricity and Steel don't count. lol) By that, I mean I want my character to have various weapons and other devices that help him, kind of like Iron Man or Batman.

    Characters from "dead" roleplays are perfectly acceptable, and will probably make up the majority of of the characters. As for Cult of Ustream and Magnolia characters, they should be fine. They could probably be considered "2nd-Party" characters, like Kirby, Pokemon, and Earthbound are for Nintendo.
