ZEJ: Worlds in Chaos OOC Thread

There are plenty of popular brands out there. A lot of them have so-called ultimate crossovers featuring a good number of their characters. Nintendo has Super Smash Bros, Capcom has Tatsunoko/Marvel/SNK vs Capcom, Marvel and DC have their comics in general, Cartoon Network has an MMO, etc. As many of you know, ZEJ doesn't have anything like that. The question is: should we? We don't have most of the necessary tools needed to make a game, but instead, we could make what we make best, a roleplay. It's unlikely that every single one of our roleplays could fit into one massive world, but when has that stopped strange crossovers like Kingdom Hearts from happening?

If we were to do something like this, it would be quite possibly the most ambitious project to ever be attempted by our roleplaying community. We would need many of our members to join it in order to make it as true to the many represented characters and roleplays as possible. We would also need a plot that would make sense. (But not too much sense. It would be a crossover after all. ) If done right, it could be one of the most awesome and epic things to ever come from ZEJ. If done wrong... well... It would suck. So, are you guys willing to take a risk and go through with an idea like this? I've got a few plot ideas if you guys are interested.

I think that as far as characters go, you could probably use any character you've ever made on ZEJ, or maybe even all of them if you wanted to. A few original characters could also be used as long as they didn't become more important than characters from other roleplays. However, it would be best not to use more characters than you could handle.

I have a few ideas for possible stories if you guys are interested.

Idea One: A powerful dark character (Either original or possibly from another roleplay) persuades several villains and "darker neutral" characters from different ZEJ worlds to join forces in order to take over the "ZEJverse". In order to stop the villains, the Reapers (From The Ultimate Tournament) bring together a large group of heroes and "lighter neutral" characters. The heroes and villains combat each other across several ZEJ worlds, until one side wins. (Probably the heroes) Regardless of the outcome, the aforementioned powerful dark character locates the Reapers, defeats them, and steals all their power for him/herself. The villains are angered due to the fact that they won't get any power after all, and decide to team-up with the heroes to defeat the main villain.

I have more ideas if you guys are interested.

Idea Two: A powerful artifact created by the Reapers long ago is stolen by an ancient enemy as old as they are, and almost as powerful with the aforementioned artifact. (Original to the roleplay) In order to stop him from taking over the "ZEJverse", the Reapers send several of their best, but less powerful, ranks to warn the residents of it's worlds and gather them to fight and save their worlds. The Reapers in question are based off several ZEJ members who participate, with some in smaller roles being based off other, non-participating members, with their permission, of course.

Each roleplayer gets one Reaper based off themselves, as well as any (Or even all) of their characters from any roleplay ever to be made on ZEJ, and possibly Reapers based off other members they get permission from. (Limit of 3 Reapers max per member) The main characters are those from other roleplays, though.

I also have a third plot idea, and it's probably the craziest of them all.

I know I said I had a third idea for a plot, but now that I've thought about it, it wouldn't be as good as the first two, so I think we should choose from one of them. Of course, if any of you have plot ideas, please share them! This is a collaborative effort after all. Also, what "style" do you guys think the inevitable team-ups should occur in? By that, I mean should the characters start off mostly by themselves, but team-up with other small groups of characters, travelling together and eventually forming one massive army? (i.e. Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros Brawl) Or should most of them be brought together into one group almost immediately, and attempt to work together to stop the villain(s)? (i.e. The Avengers) Or should they team-up some other way? Remember, there are no wrong answers!
