  1. I HAVE BEEN ASKED THAT QUESTION SO MANY TIMES (but without the latter, correct half).

    I haven't read the Vampire Academy series. I don't know why they're trying to bring back the vampires when that fad died with The Hunger Games, and quite frankly, that series looks to be on the dumb side.

    I just got tired of Swan, and decided a change was in order. I didn't know that the series was even a thing until people started asking questions.

  2. You and @Rose hathaway should really read the VA series, they're so good I can't even describe it with words. ;3;

  3. Once upon a time @Eebit, myself and my best friend Rach (you've probably seen some of her art) wanted to go to a movie. After looking at our options I called Jacob (waking him up) to tell him that we could go to a movie with Meryl Streep in it or a foreign language film (even though it wasn't really foreign because Canada). He then said something akin to 'Fuck Meryl Streep', in a super sleepy voice, so we went to see Monsieur Lazhar.
    It turned out to be an absolutely amazing movie but for some reason they used white subtitles even though most of it was set in the Montreal during the winter.

    The End.

  4. Mayari is the Filipino goddess of the moon and Shadoe was just a misspelling but it stuck. Totally had nothing to do with Persona.

    My other name that I like better use often (Mayari Magpakailanman) but not really because it's really long comes from Mayari and "forever" in Tagalog.

  5. The Nintendo news site NintendoLife was previously primarily dedicated to Virtual Console titles onto the moniker VC Reviews. Spearheaded by Darren Calvert and Damien McFerran, the two's younger iterations had kept themselves guised under the names Dazza and Damo, respectively. It was one of the first communities that I had ever enveloped myself in on the internet and I was one of its first members when they had first opened up their forums and comments section. I wanted to make an impact, so Jonno it was that I became as an amalgamation of the way that they had styled their names with my own. Shortly after that, I had joined SSB Mercurious under the same username and found @Zantok, @Eebit, and @Flamezone there, befriending those chuckleheads and whatnot. 8 years later and we're here. Woo!

  6. Way back when I was playing random internet games, I found a site that required a username. Thing is, you couldn't actually write your username so it had to be randomly generated. It generated "Muddymaster" for me and I started using that anytime I had to make a user/screenname and the rest is history. So yes, I am a puddle of mud because some random site said so. (I think the actual site was Cartoonnetwork, even)

  7. Huh, usually I've posted in these things.

    But oh boy is it a bit of a story. I was first introduced to anime when I was seven or eight iirc. The anime was G Gundam and I was instantly a fan of the big robots pounding on each other. My older sister, about fifteen I think, was already well into her aspirations of being a writer, so of course she made fanfiction of everything she encountered. As such she elected to have each of us invent An Character to insert into a next-gen G Gundam setting; each of us having those characters be the child of each of the five main characters in the show. I chose Neo-China's Sai Saici's kid, with the name my sister picked out Xiaolang which means Little Wolf or Coyote or something like that.

    A year later I would delve into Yu Yu Hakasho, instantly falling in love with the demon characters. As had already become the family routine at this point as per my older sister, each of us created a character to fit in the setting of the anime to play as in the backyard. In my infinite creativity I made an over-powered fire-element demon and transitioned the name Xiaolang into Ziolang for the character [as that's how I pronounced Xiaolang at that age].

    Few years later I would join my first online thing; Runescape. For the username I elected to see if Ziolang was available; to this day I have never come upon any site anywhere where the username Ziolang is taken, unless I had already taken it without remembering so.

    So yeah, that's that.
