Cult of Ustream ~ Official Roleplay 【Main RP Thread】

Discussion in 'Roleplay Archives' started by Keileon, Jul 27, 2012.

  1. "Hold up," Kyton responded, pausing between two trees and scanning the ground quickly with alert yellow eyes. The shapeshifter's gaze didn't so much sweep the forest floor as it locked onto plant after plant, only spending a second or two on each one before he nodded at Jack, then made a somewhat awkward gesture with his head towards a pale green moss that wound its way around a tree branch like a tightly coiled vine. Or a snake...

"Handful of the moss, that's the main thing," Kyton explained before continuing on. He took a moment to reexamine Starr's neck, gauging the injury, then looking back at Jack and the moss. "... Yeah, a handful should do..." He trailed off and navigated his way through the trees, stepping carefully over surfaced roots so as to not trip and drop Starr. Though this deep in the forest the light only shone sporadically through the canopy of fiery reds and yellows, the shapeshifter's eyes picked out various plants with relative ease and inhuman clarity, but he did not indicate any more plants to the lycan behind him.

"The moss is the main healing agent," He commented, half to Jack and Starr but half to himself. "Doesn't mean it'll soothe the damaged nerves. I'm not... entirely sure if there's anything useful as a painkiller around here, but I'll look. How much farther is Jude's house?" This time the question actually was directed fully at Jack, the Shapeshifter looking back over his shoulder at the Lycan.

  2. Ivan placed his soulless gaze upon the fallen boy who was CrazE. After a moment of intense chauvinistic displays being thrown to and fro from Espira and CrazE alike, the General himself crossed his arms and quietly observed with care. It didn't amaze him that such young humans were capable of such bold remarks. But then again, the fact that they had the abilities and power in them was enough to make him at least raise a brow in interest. Looking down, his eyes met with the slight crack of scarlet red peaking open by the semi-awake Vale. Or Oikeus. The Scarlet Gunslinger himself groaned quietly and attempted to raise his head, only to find himself putting it back down. He only narrowed his eyes as the General kept a still look on him. Now tell me, Blinking slowly, Vale didn't move. What inspires you to allow yourself to attack your allies?

    What are you t-

Is it that separate persona you house? Or..is it your desire for purpose that drives you.

With a groan, Vale began pushing himself off the floor with his arms. A confused look on his face being the only one breaking his usual expression. Why do you want to know.. Ivan smirked, glancing at the scene behind him-- Darius carrying CrazE away. He turned back nonchalantly. I'm not interested in getting anywhere. I only want you to know what I want to know. And be the only one in your..group to at least understand you- for you.  Not knowing what to answer back, Vale simply stood up and leaned himself against the wall. He continued his trek in a calm manner. Welcoming, at least. If I were you, I'd worry about how they'll punish you for acting out. And I would definitely with there was someone within the group who knew me well and vouched for me. Now- Back to my question...revised. What did you feel when you held that poor woman's neck between your strong arms?

And with that strange question, the scarlet gunslinger's eyes went blank. His lips quivering under the thought of feeling-- crushing that helpless woman's neck. It only came out as one audible voice, containing a slight tinge of pleasure. "Fantastic."

  3. Lord X-Giga-X and Grodisflare continued to read through the book on various dragon species. Though, the former was becoming distracted by the relatively unchanged location of Giag. Eventually...

"Agh, that Giag..." Lord X-Giga-X groaned, slamming the book shut and onto the the table. "Still lost like an idiot. Do I seriously have to bring him back to the lab myself?" He glanced over at Grodisflare, both giving each other a rather annoyed expression. They didn't need to speak to know what the other was thinking. They both knew that someone was gonna have to go look for Giag, but neither of them wanted to actually do it. "... Well then, looks like we have to get someone else to go look for him."

    "Yeah, but who?"
Grodisflare asked. "Xibu busy, Dexus probably sleeping, we no entirely trust Deathstorm to help. Pretty much, we no trust most people in cult to help without asking why he there."
"True..." Lord X-Giga-X replied. "But let's not forget we have someone who just a few minutes ago volunteered to help us out."
    "Right... Erahvs..."
Lord X-Giga-X quickly rose from the chair he was sitting in and proceeded to walk out of the library. "Shouldn't really take long to get him to do this."

  4. Darius slowly made his way down the clearing, toward figures he could see in the distance. They were huddled down on the ground; Gaga and Valerie, as he had left them. He hefted crazE's unconscious body a little more onto his shoulder as he continued on, keeping a strong grip on the explosion master's form. Alexander is in my possession. I've locked the energy channels that manage his movement, and I plan not to release them while he is in this... strange state of irritation, as well as Espira in hers, he sent telepathically. His movements slowed as he neared the small group, his senses displaying two smaller figures with them- the twins. He finally came to a stop, slowly setting crazE to the ground, the latter completely immobilized. However, his eyes were of pained fury, dashing wildly in an effort to hopefully get something moving. Of course, to no avail.

Valerie stood up immediately upon Darius' return, her eyes wide as she held one of the twins- Rye- hefted on her arm. She almost called out as Darius dropped crazE on the ground gently, panic seizing her. The fact that he was motionless, his limp body immobile made her heart jump in terror. "I-Is he...?" she started, almost choking on what she was about to imply. However, she was stopped short, thankfully, as Darius shook his head. Valerie closed her eyes, softening her beating heart and looking back down at her paralyzed cousin. "I'll release the paralysis seal off him once things have lost its tension," he replied, turning back around slowly as he let out what seemed to be an exasperated exhale, his hand reaching up to rub his own neck soothingly. What could have happened would have defined the breaking point of this whole group. As what will happen... I fear for that.

  5. Sitting down carefully with her soft light brown hair flowing in the wind, Gaga looked down at Ringo while her arms wrapped around his form. The impatient baby boy had finally settled down within the empress' clutch. The need for his father became so overwhelming that the child simply tired himself out. Small, dried up streaks of tears filled his cheeks due to him crying a little too much. Rye, however, kept herself reserved. She occasionally rubbed her eyes and whimpered slightly under the strange lack of her parents. But she didn't lose control like her twin did. Looking up at Valerie, she simply held a good look at her for a moment, then placed her head back down on the young girl's shoulder.

With a small, almost unnoticeable buzz, Gaga's head soon snapped up to attention. The strange noise, although nowadays it wasn't too strange for her, began to grow louder and louder. And just as it was so sudden, it faded away without warning as she heard Darius' inner thoughts for a split second, then his telepathic message. It didn't sound good by just hearing the tone and the slight thoughts of the man. "...Irritation..?" whispered Gaga, softly glancing down at Ringo and then up ahead at Darius. Seeing as how he had just returned from the confrontation, Gaga stayed silent upon seeing CrazE dropped to the ground. Motionless, still. It only took one second of her attention to CrazE to suddenly feel a jolt run down her spine. And so she spoke a little more anxiously. "..What e-exactly happened back there..? He doesn't look good...not-" Clearing her throat slightly, she toned down a little. For some reason, the woman felt a little afraid of hinting Darius or Valerie about her strange ability to sense emotions. Even to the point of sensing pulses emanating within each thinking mind. To her, it was beyond strange. "Not..well, not because you paralyzed him, but..."

"..you get what I mean...Is Vale alright too..?" She muttered.

A groan to follow many groans of pain to come escaped the Royale serpent's lips just before she felt Kyton come to a stop over an ingredient. The woman's gaze momentarily broke away from the pale skies of Euthora, only spending a few seconds on Kyton and then back to the sky. It was obvious that this man was rather prepared for these kind of things. He directed jack to the moss rather quickly, even going to the point where he even explained the use of that particular item to the best of his ability. Starr raised her voice slightly, raising her arm a bit to give her neck a slight touch with her fingers. She flinched almost immediately and hissed. "Well, if you're implying that this moss is an anti-inflammatory, you should grab plenty. Some reliable painkillers can be found back in my lab..but leave that to CrazE when its safe to go back there.."

Some reliable painkillers can be found back in my lab..but leave that to CrazE when its safe to go back there.."

  7. Jack nodded at Kyton as he proceeded to walk briskly over to the tree, drawing his katana along the way. "This moss?" he asked, carefully slicing off enough to fill his free hand and bringing it back to the shapeshifter. Turning his head to face Starr as he arrived back, Jack replied to her -- "Good idea. It's probably not the best idea to go back there right now, given that tensions are still running high with Espira and crazE around. I'll get the meds later."

As long as he is alive and well, as opposed to feeling the cold embrace of death. That is all I currently concern myself with. he responded, turning to face Darius on his way out the front door of Starr's Hill lab. "Darius," he stated in as much of an attention-grabbing manner as he could through his thick Swedish accent and formal overtones, "if you would, please come with me. Starr requested that Alexander and the twins be at her bedside during her recovery." He then motioned for Darius to follow him and began walking gingerly toward the forest, the lake, Jack and his home.

  8. Lord X-Giga-X quickly made his way to the front door of Cult HQ. As he stopped in front of the door, a thought quickly came to him. Of course, I did come in here without actually waiting for him to follow. He could potentially be somewhere else... He sighed, then opened the door and stepped out of the building. As he slammed the door behind him, he quickly noticed Erahvs asleep, leaning on the outer wall of the building. "... Or he could just be taking a nap... That's definitely a possibility." Lord X-Giga-X bent down and gently tapped Erahvs on the head for a few seconds before he suddenly felt Erahvs's head move slightly. A soft groan was uttered from the shapeshifter clone's mouth as he opened his eyes.

    "Wuh..."
Erahvs muttered as he looked around. He glanced over to Lord X-Giga-X and then fixed his attention on him. "Oh... Hey, Giga..." He then let out a yawn, and leaped onto his feet. "Well, I suppose you wouldn't woken me up unless it was something important."
"Indeed," Lord X-Giga-X answered, showing Erahvs his left hand. "Giag never reported back to the lab last night, and for some reason, he's lost near Charos's castle." He paused as Erahvs examined the symbols on his hand for a few seconds, speaking once again as the two made eye contact with each other. "I need you to find him and bring him back to the lab."
"That all?" Erahvs replied. "Sure, I can do that." Erahvs started to walk away to carry out the assignment, but then stopped and looked back at Lord X-Giga-X. "Anything else I need to know?"
"Yeah, he might be carrying something dead. Could help your find him. Bring that back with you too."
"... Okay then. Well, I'm off then." Erahvs then continued walking toward his destination. His walk soon turned into a dash as he soon shifted into wolf form.

"Well, that was a lot easier than I thought it would be," Lord X-Giga-X said with a chuckle once Erahvs was out of view. He then went back inside the building and proceeded back to the library.

  9. Kyton's gaze left the forest floor to flick to Starr, then Jack, and then Starr again. A worried look crossed into his bright yellow eyes as he asked, "Are you sure?" His voice was uncertain. "The bruising looks painful- it would be so much easier for you if we got the painkillers..." He trailed off, looking around, as if searching for the plant that would help him. Apparently not finding it, he sighed. "By Kuu, I don't even know if the plant grows in this climate..." This was quickly followed by a muttered, "... would be so much easier up north..."

He shook his head, looking back at Jack. "Well... very well, then." Giving Starr another look of concern, he continued walking. While he still intensely scanned the forest floor, he kept silent, a steady pace, a purposeful gait. He still walked slowly so as to not make Starr's pain worse, but after a few minutes of this, he finally started speaking again. "How much further until we reach our destination?" The shapeshifter asked Jack, sounding offhand and casual. It was clear Starr's weight didn't trouble him much, if at all.

  10. Darius stopped at Jude had confronted him physically this time, hearing his thick accented voice and nodding silently. As much difficulty as it was to upset this previous monk in training, he seemed to have truly lost the will to keep a happy face. For now, he kept his silent, stern features as his sightless bandage billowed ever so slightly as he walked. He motioned for Jude to take a much slower pace as he then blurred from sight, his figure immediately reappearing in the nearby vicinity of where Valerie and Gaga tended the children and the paralyzed explosion master.

Valerie flinched in an immediate panic upon Darius appearing from seemingly nowhere, her heart practically stopping. Her mind slowed from the sudden freak out, confirming to herself over and over again that it was impossible for... it to come back. "D-Darius..." she let out, allowing herself to breath again. The man walked stiffly before kneeling down and looking at both Gaga and Valerie.

"Starr would like her twins and husband back," he stated clearly, showing a slight smile in an effort for a tease. Valerie looked at the twins, slightly let down for a moment. They really were cute... she quite enjoyed taking care of them. She picked up little Rye and Ringo, offering them to Darius. "Well, alright.."

Darius shook his head, giving off a slight sigh mixed with a silent chuckle. "No no, I couldn't handle these children like you can.. I'd like for you to come with." He then stood up, walking over and kneeling next to crazE's form. With a sudden strike, a shattering sound could be heard, causing Valerie to flinch in shock. However, it sounded nothing like bone; Darius had shattered the mana lock on crazE's movements that he placed there first. With a heave Darius hoisted CrazE onto his feet, having his arm wrapped over his shoulder in support. He knew crazE wouldn't regain movement for a bit, but this would definitely help. He nodded to Valerie.

  11. --- Timeskip ---

    [20 Minutes]

At long last, the small group reached the lake. Kyton looked over the water for a moment, a slight mist forming over the glassy surface. A few water birds and fish could be easily seen in the lake, and as the group walked out of the treeline and onto shore, the nearest wading birds fled. Kyton snorted at them and looked around. It was a relatively quiet place, though perhaps the silence was the wildlife trying to avoid the notice of the predator now in their midst.

Down the shore a ways was a house in an architectural style that Kyton did not recognize. The man looked briefly at Jack, asking, "Is this the place?" It really had to be; there were no other houses in sight, and Ustream was by all reports largely unsettled anyway. Without really waiting for a response, Kyton shrugged and took a few steps toward the house--

His acute hearing picked up a twig snap and Kyton involuntarily growled in surprise. Bristling and turning towards the source of the noise, Kyton wished he wasn't holding Starr so he could grab his sword. This reaction however only lasted a second before his nose caught up with his ears; Kyton relaxed as Jason's scent hit his nostrils. "Sorry about that," Kyton chuckled quietly. "Our leader seems to be approaching."

  12. Jack looked across the lake at the house. It was a slightly imposing Nordic-style home with dragon head finial and browned copper shingles that was built of wood sourced from the local area and stained as well as sealed with a special sealer that Jude had retrieved from Hammerspace -- the same compound he used to seal his other house within the limits of the realm itself. He was about to let Kyton know that this was indeed the correct house when, upon Kyton stepping forward, his left ear swivelled to the side almost instantly as a result of someone stepping on a twig nearby. He quickly turned his head in the direction of the sound, but turned back to Kyton a few moments later as he had revealed the source of the noise to be Jason. "Yeah, this appears to be the place." he said, sure that he was indeed at Jude's house, "You go in -- he usually doesn't lock his door, or so he's told me. I'll wait here for Jase to arrive then lead him in."

"Not much farther." Jude said affirmatively to Darius and the others behind him. The forest ahead was beginning to thin out and reveal a lake's coast and a house's back porch. As he approached the back entrance to his home, Jude held his right hand out and flicked his wrist, the lock clicking open shortly after. He waited by the porch for Darius to catch up with the others.

  13. Kyton nodded, looking in the direction of the sound for a moment more before continuing his walk to the house. As he reached the front of the house, his ears and nose picked up Jude on the other side; grinning slightly, he shot a quick I believe we beat you here, at the Lycan before glancing down at Starr. "Holding up alright?" He asked, before looking at the door and trying to figure out how to open it while he was holding Starr.

It wasn't very long before Jason came into Jack's sight, but the young Cult leader wasn't alone. On his head, a lithe, dark blue dragon hatchling with thin black stripes running down its back was perched. Zephyrus, Zephyr for short, looked around at the forest and lake as Jason walked towards Jack. Trying not to nod, the Shapeshifter forced a grin; he was still slightly irate from the encounter with Darkside.

"Hey, Jack," Jason greeted his friend before looking around. "I thought I smelled Kyton and-- oh, there they are." He cut himself off, having caught sight of the aforementioned Shapeshifter holding the Royale Serpent in her human form. He blinked at this. "Wait, why is he--" He once again cut himself off to retrieve Zephyr, who had jumped off of his head to pounce at a fish in the shallows. Aaaaah, I forgot how much of a handful you were, He thought with a mix of amusement and irritation, even though he knew the Shadow Drake hatchling would not hear him.

  14. "I'm...I think I'm h-holding up..fine." Coughed the royale serpent rather lightly. At that point, Starr felt slightly more comfortable and at ease being wrapped around the Shapeshifter's grip. It was only merely half an hour ago since Vale had let the poor woman go from his wicked game, the feelings and memories of those brief and tense minutes kept Starr unusually quiet, however. It was rather strange. For once, the motor-mouth scientist was in silence. It was only fear and a twinge of anger that kept Starr in her unusual bubble. Starr looked to her side, hissing in pain as she moved her neck ever-so slightly, then softly spoke to herself. " Well at least theres one good thing that came out of almost being Scarletburn's last meal.." her voice lingered for a moment. Referring to the "good" thing was the lake in which Starr gave an interested gaze at. Slight mist rising, blanketing the crystal clear water. Sounds of the birds and fish disturbing the body of liquid which was the lake. For a moment, Starr forgot the entire situation before she heard splashing over the distance, immediately sensing the air distortion it created-- A small creature.

Starr gave off a groan. "Being near a lake is always a good thing for me....its a site for sore, recovering necks like mine...heh.."

  15. Long after Lord X-Giga-X, Grodisflare and Erahvs left, Smeremus was alone, sitting underneath a tree just a few feet from the small, shack-like building that was Aegis's lab. He flipped a page of a small book he held in his hand, a novel he began to read the previous day. Other than the occasional chirping of birds from within the trees, it was quiet. Nothing to distract him.

    "SMEREMUS!"

Almost nothing to distract him. Following that yell, a few crashes were heard from within the building. Smeremus glanced back at the building and sighed. Well, Aegis is awake. Guess this book will have to wait. He closed the book and shoved it into his robe pocket, and then stood up. Another yell came from within the building, only repeating that one name. Smeremus walked toward the building, then reached for the door knob.

    "SMEREMUS!"

Smeremus quickly opened the door and walked inside, watching his step as he did so. Not only was Aegis's lab small, it was a mess if the main room wasn't any indication. A mess of papers, books, and boxes littered on the floor. Bookshelves with unorganized books and random objects. The only part of this mess that wasn't there when he walked out about an hour ago was a bunch of tables and desks piled in front of a door. A constant banging came from behind the door. Followed by another yell.

    "SMEREMUS! HELP!"

  16. Darius said not a word as they walked, his mind blank as he held crazE up consistently, once in awhile shoving him back onto his shoulder for more support as he slipped slightly. The walk was strenuous on the explosion master; his body faltered every few feet, his feet fluttering about as if they refused to function. The first 10 minutes Darius simply dragged him, and now he was struggling to prevent less of that disgrace. "Darius..." he finally mumbled, still gripping onto the white outfit of the man, "Please slow down..."

"You wish to walk with the strength you show, so I am letting you," Darius commented simply, continuing without any slowing. CrazE felt himself struggling more, pulling his legs as if they were weights to keep the pace of Darius. It was incredibly difficult, no matter if he had regained feeling back. He looked at the ground with a bitter rage. He knew this was Darius' lesson to him about keeping up with what he showed. No matter how unfair or uncalled it seemed, CrazE felt the impact of this lesson as any other. CrazE then suddenly let go of Darius, falling to the ground with a thud as he lay with elbows holding his upper body from the moist soil. Darius stopped, looking back at CrazE with a blank expression. CrazE looked up, waving at him to continue. "You want me to hold myself? Fine."

With a frustrated heave, CrazE pulled his lower body up, pulling his knees under him as leverage with a slowly agonizing groan. Gravity had an unusual hold on him; it made him wish he had the gravity of earth to aid him and not the mass of this planet pulling him in. CrazE felt the heat of his efforts drip down his face as he prepared the next phase of standing on his legs. Another heave and a grunt followed as CrazE pushed his upper body from the grassy floor, followed by his thighs forcing into an upright position and one ready to swing to the side to pull his body up. Darius watched with a blank expression, folding his arms with a hint of cruel amusement. CrazE focused on the ground as he swung his leg over, his foot making contact with the ground as his calf stood upright. Half-kneeling position, halfway there...

CrazE fell to the ground again with a massive thud, this time unable to hold his upper body and completely collapsing. The attempt just a moment ago to thrust his body up into an upright position had failed, and now he lay in a frustrated heap on the ground. Darius walked slowly over, gripping onto the man and slowly pulling him up. "You lost it, CrazE," Darius commented, a twinge of disappointment in his voice. "Something's changed you, even if for a moment... The house is just up ahead, like Jude said. I will guide you there. Keep on the pace I am keeping and you'll get your strength back."

The whole ordeal walking through the forest Valerie had remained silent. Her eyes had fluttered to the ground as they walked the trail, despite Gaga having traveled with them. She hoped Gaga didn't blame her; the two never really knew each other that well, and Valerie didn't really feel like talking. The hopes of anything being normal again were shattered after this morning, and the despair of never feeling safe again haunted her. It was a depressing cloud of horrid pain and suffering that she couldn't understand why it was happening...

Valerie passed almost like a phantom by Darius and CrazE, who seemed to have dropped. She stopped and looked back, watching the ordeal he seemed to be having. His strength was gone, but Valerie knew it wasn't physical strength; the mental nirvana crazE used to have that kept him the care-free spirit he used to be was little more than a remnant in the explosion-master's eyes. The disheveled man was pulled back into Darius' grip before they continued. Her eyes scanned over to Gaga a moment before she looked down at the twins in her arms. They rested comfortably against her, and hadn't made too much of a peep as they walked. She felt her heart practically break, soaring her further into the pit she knew that was despair.

Will there ever be happiness again?...

  17. Opening the door in front of him, Jude motioned for Darius, crazE and Valerie to enter first. He was mainly doing this to be polite, however, with crazE's current condition, it would have been a good idea for him and Darius to enter first at any rate. "Darius, Alexander and yourself may enter ahead of me. I will wait for Valerie to enter as well before doing so myself." As with earlier, e waved the three in before noticing Kyton's trouble with opening his front door. Projecting a solution to him, Jude thought this out, Kyton, I shall open the door for you, if that is agreeable. Following this, his front door seemed to twist its own handle and swing open on its own, allowing anyone out front entry.

Jack looked to Jason, about to finish his query for him. "Why is he holding Starr? I had to get some stuff for him to make some pain meds with, and I needed both hands free for that." he stated, slightly exhausted for both the trip here and flora-gathering, "We came here to let her rest up until she's able to get back on her feet again, if that's what you're also wondering." He looked Jason over a bit, noticing the small dragon he had in tow. He couldn't stop himself from asking what he asked next. "Who's that, by the way? I don't think I've seen you with that dragon before, and if I have, I sure as Hell don't remember the name of it."

  18. Kyton nodded at Jude's comment. Agreeable it is. Glancing toward Jason and Jack- taking note of the small hatchling with the former- he turned back toward the door, using a foot to push it open a bit wider. Stepping inside, Kyton looked around at the interior design, noting different rooms and decorations. Quite a place you have here, Jude, The Shapeshifter thought cordially, on the off chance Jude was still listening. Where might I put Starr?

Zephyr shot out of Jason's arms and back onto his head, where he spread his wings to maintain his balance. At nearly two meters long, the hatchling's wingspan was impressive for his age, and a sign that he was growing well. Brilliant ruby eyes looked at Jack with an intense curiosity, and the Shadow Drake gave a rasping trill at the Lycan. "Oh, him?" Jason asked to affirm, reaching up with his hand to scratch Zephyr's snout. "His name is Zephyrus, though most of us have been calling him Zeph or Zephyr. He's Deathstorm's son." The cult leader rolled his eyes.

"Testament to how little responsibility Giga takes for his dragons," He said dryly. The hatchling looked down at Jason's change of tone. "At the very least, Deathstorm spends time with him..." There was a pause as Jason seemed to consider something. Then he shook his head and looked back at the house, which Kyton had entered. Looking at Jack again, the Shapeshifter's next words were concerned, somewhat guarded; "Why do you guys need pain meds? What happened?"

A fleeting shadow passed over the three. Zephyr looked up and trilled a greeting to the copper-gold Plated Firedrake, but the older dragon did not land. Circling once over the area, Mimring flew out of sight again. It seems that crazE is injured. Jason only nodded in response to the mental comment.

  19. "I'm a little impressed with his will-" Gaga caught up in a sudden burst of speech before catching up with Darius. She hoisted her blade on her shoulder with a strap which was neatly attached on the blade's sheath, imprinted with a small amount of rose pink petals on there. It was definitely the mark of Gaga. She came off as a very timid, sweet little warrior. "I can see why Starr chose him as a living companion. Both of them are just so intense." She waved her hand and glanced at CrazE and then at the twins. Both were asleep, but she somehow knew deep inside her that those two young ones definately radiated an essence most commonly sensed among CrazE and Starr-- Obvious parents.  "N-Not in a bad way, I wont judge~" Despite the trek she was participating with CrazE's "family", Gaga couldn't help but linger her thoughts towards Vale the most. Was he alright? Was he under control? Why was he left behind? Is he dead..? And so a shock of anxiety hit the woman quickly and made her exhale harshly, thinking of the possible reasons why Vale wasn't around. He caused trouble, which she did not take lightly, but he also caused her to feel a slight sense of panic. What am I thinking..? He...no, of course he is not dead.

But then it hit her. She stopped for a moment and thought, touching her arm softly and maintaining a slight, timid grip. Scarlet lips pressed upon each other randomly under the quick realization. She felt a little awkward, strange to feel such an unusual concern for a fellow man of her kind. Gaga never had any experience with forming bonds after quite some time being locked up and used. However, when it came to Vale--

He is a fool's game to play, and a fool's method to demise.

Gaga began walking on silently as if nothing happened. "..I haven't been foolish.." She whispered to herself as she followed closely.

Ivan slowly smirked upon seeing the gunslinger stir from his induced slumber. Sickening, agonizing sounds and vibrations radiated from his simple gaze. Which was only merely a look of blank interest and and enigmatic wonder. The gunslinger remained on the floor like he was over 20 minutes ago. And even though Ivan's lock on Vale's psyche was supposed to suppress Vale's conciousness, it only suppressed part of what Vale really was. "You only achieved your definite and final moments, dragon.." He spat at the looming figure which was Ivan. He continued to grow at the General just as he began to twitch his fingers. It was quite sad seeing the possessed slinger resort to insults, but Ivan began to take in a subtle enjoyment from his display. Even to the point where he began to project his twisted happiness to Vale. "I'm twisting my head in happiness to see that you see right through me." Ivan put out three fingers and held them near Vale's forehead. The intense buzzing and agonizing headache began once more. "But, I cannot allow you to see too much. You will go down the same road I went through when I did what you're doing. And I can't have you going insane just yet~" Vale blinked and growled. He curled his fingers angrily until Ivan placed one finger on Vale's cheek. The nail caressing it softly. "You work best with reason. With anger as your aid. Its a typical trait of the warrior which rides on the blue moon of the desert veil. You feel like one who rides the line of insanity, sadism-" The possessed gunslinger roared for a moment, sounding tired of Ivan's confusing trickery. "Sadism is correct, but I am not a lunatic. My intentions are what I make of them, and no mortal will judge them by their standards. Now leave-- I can and will dissolve you in one split second."

Ivan's nail immediately darted down, slicing open the gunslinger's cheek. Crimson ink of a living, breathing man slowly running down like a calm river. "Well, why didn't you do that before with my sister? Was it a mortal holding back your judgement? Pathetic! You wont find an ounce of fear within me. Because you are /no/ threat..." He scooped up a bit of blood suddenly and nipped it off his finger, narrowing his eyes. "Control yourself, wretch: your time will come. You shall be freed. And you shall do what the proficiencies dictate. I for one have my list of things to get to, and you seem like a worthy piece to my chess board."

Suddenly after a short moment of silence between the two, the entire room froze in time. The light in which creeped into the ravaged home shifted and bent in a strange shift of space-time. The entire concept of sound shattered to a million pieces. All the cries of birds and wildlife around ceased to exist as the entire room began to darken. Ivan, in his strange masquerade of happiness and enjoyment slowly stood up. And so his hand unfolded, reached out to the possessed man. He then spoke, just before the entire area went quiet and dark.

"..I'm in need of a rook, and you shall fit just fine in my little game."

  20. Smeremus walked over to the blocked door, and moved one of the wooden objects blocking the door. He proceeded to move another object as yet another yell was uttered from the other side of the door.

    "HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!"

"Calm down, Aegis," Smeremus replied as he continued to unblock the door. "I'll have you out of there in just a moment."
"Yeah yeah, that's great!" The voice from behind the door shouted. "But that's not what I need you for!"
Smeremus stopped pushing a table aside, and blinked as he looked back to the door. "Really now, Aegis. You're trapped in a room, yet you've call me for something else?"
"Yes, and it's really important! More important than this mess I've gotten myself in."
Smeremus blinked once again, and then sighed. "Well, what could be more important than trying to get out of there?"
"Erahvs! I'm trying to find Erahvs!"

Following this was about ten seconds of silence. Smeremus stared at the door, puzzled about the priorities of the man trapped in the room.
    "... Smeremus, you still there?"
"... Yes," Smeremus finally said after another 5 seconds of silence.
"Great! Then forget about me! I need you to go and find Erahvs!"
Smeremus heard every word the man spoke, but he did not proceed to leave the building. Instead, he grabbed a desk still blocking the door and dragged it away, the sound of wood scraping against the floor echoing through the building.
"Smeremus, what are you doing?! Stop moving stuff and go find Erahvs!"
"And leave you in there? Forget it." Smeremus shoved the desk aside and then reached for another of the few objects still blocking the door. "I'm getting you out of there, and that's that."
    "But Erahvs-"
    "Can take care of himself."

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Erahvs, still in his wolf form, trotted through the forest on an island to the north of cult territory. He was trying to pick up Giag's scent. But all his nostrils could pick up was blood. Was it what Lord X-Giga-X had told him earlier? Was Giag carrying some kind of dead animal-

Erahvs suddenly stopped, his eyes widening as he soon discovered what he was closing in on. A clearing in the forest filled with several dead snakes. Some had been decapitated. Others had clear, sharp icicles stabbed into them, and some of them hanging from trees. ... What the hell happened here? he thought as he observed the scene he stumbled upon.

Suddenly, Erahvs shifted into his human form and leaped forward in an attempt to avoid two things: a snake- still barely alive- slithering toward him, and a spear made of ice flying toward the snake, stabbing it in its head and nailing it to the ground. Erahvs landed and turned back. Through the scent of blood, he could barely make out another scent coming from within the trees. He then smirked and sarcastically shouted, "Giag, what did these snakes ever do to you?"

Following that, one of the trees shook, and Giag fell from it, landing on his back. He was almost completely covered in ash and soot. He seemed to give Erahvs an annoyed look as he answered the question.

"You really don't want to know..."
