Cult of Ustream ~ Official Roleplay 【Main RP Thread】

Discussion in 'Roleplay Archives' started by Keileon, Jul 27, 2012.

  1. Up and up the stairs Valerie fled before finally reaching the door to the Diclonius's room, stopping as the vector-using being opened the door and revealed himself. Messy black hair caused by recently being in bed, Shadow immediately seemed to respond to her calls.

"V-Vale, he-" She started. But something terribly wrong had just happened. The resonance of a gun cocking could be heard emanating down the stairs. The sudden feeling of death palpating in the air. And now, a horrible aura whispering for the life of Valerie causing her blood to run cold. Her hazel eyes slowly traveled over to the stairway, then back at Shadow with a desperation she'd not felt for only a few days. It was horrid, to welcome the horrid feeling of dread back into her body after only just a few days since the destruction of it. She couldn't bear to remember what it was called; it only brought on the feeling worse. A shudder escaped her mouth as a slight panic came over her. "V-Vale's having an... issue. And I think.... he's getting violent..." As she looked back at the stairway, she grew silent as she drew close to the Diclonius, refusing to take any more steps as long as she was surrounded by the phantasmal psychokinetic limbs of Shadow's vectors.

Darius felt the emanations of the one known as Gaga begin to retreat, feeling a slight hint of rudeness coming off from him. Did he draw her away with his cautiousness? Darius immediately phased from view before immediately reappearing in front of Gaga, holding up his hands in a halting but non-hostile way. "No no, please Madam," he started, bowing his head slightly. "Forgive me for being rude. My eyes are simply sought after by some in a very hostile sense. It was simply a reaction, and I apologize." He then looked up at her, holding out his palm to her. "If you'd like, I may be able to give you a.... 'preview' of what I see, so to speak.."

Darkside's bloodred eyes pierced themselves against Espira's own crimson gaze as they seemed to hold one final glare before Darkside looked back at the now separating Kyton. With the visit seemingly over, he leaned back, back to his scowling, pouting position and closing his eyes. If they understood, they would let me from here, he thought, shaking his head. The fact that they do not wish to be so intrigued will be their downfall. Darkside then smirked, opening his eyes again. And my uprising will begin again.

  2. Jack watched in a combination of amusement and irritation as Giga stomped off like a small child who had just had their favorite toy taken away. "Jesus, you'd think he'd've realised by now that it's pretty much impossible to keep Jude out of your head." He stated, genuinely curious as to how Giga hadn't conceded to this fact already. "I mean, I know Jude. Giga's finding threat in his pastime where there isn't any. If he'd've asked, he'd've figured that out by now." "To be fair, it can be a bit annoying if he consantly pokes into your head. It's not exactly right to do it, either." Dark added, "Anyway, how was your morning, Erahvs?"

  3. If he'd've asked, he'd've figured that out by now." "To be fair, it can be a bit annoying if he constantly pokes into your head. It's not exactly right to do it, either." Dark added, "Anyway, how was your morning, Erahvs?" He turned to the clone of Jase as he said this, awaiting an answer. His wait was interrupted as soon as Jack remembered what he actually came to ask, though, as Jack shook him about a bit, which elicited a wing to the face from Dark. "Yeah, what do you want? You know I hate being shaken like that." He snapped, swivelling around in what seemed like an instant. "Jesus, cool it." Jack hissed as he recovered from being hit in the face by Dark's left wing, "I was only going to ask if either of you had seen Jase or Mimring." Dark looked at him with an air of disdain. "No, I haven't. Ask Erahvs, he might know." Jack turned to Erahvs and asked the question again. There he stood waiting for an answer.

  4. Erahvs listened to Jack as he spoke after Lord X-Giga-X entered the building. A look of disagreement appeared in his eyes as the man spoke. He wanted to take the time to think about it, but then his thoughts were interrupted as Dark asked about his own morning. The clone prepared to answer him, but found himself once again interrupted, blinking at the sight of Jack shaking Dark. And then followed by a wingslap from Dark to Jack in the face. Erahvs sighed to the following conversation between the two of them.
What is with the people here?

And then Jack asked Erahvs if he had seen either Jason or Mimring. Truth was, he hadn't seen either of them. The only people he had seen so far today were Aegis, Smeremus, Lord X-Giga-X, Grodisflare, and these three.
"No... I haven't seen them." Erahvs then paused. "But give me a moment." Becoming completely silent for just a moment, he began to sniff the surrounding air. He quickly caught a scent similiar to his own in the direction of the colosseum. It had to have been Jason.
    "Check near the colosseum."

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Look here, Grodis," Lord X-Giga-X said, still reading the section of the book regarding the Shadowsong. "The Shadowsong apparently has an ability similiar to Shadow Bond." He read a bit more about this ability. "It's not as restrictive with targets as Shadow Bond, and it can be controlled." He chuckled at the information he was reading. "That settles it. Once we finish up things here, we set out to look for a Shadowsong."
"Giga, you even know where we find Shadowsong?" Grodisflare asked him, as if to make sure the man knew what he was doing this time.
Lord X-Giga-X's grin turned into a rather neutral yet serious expression. "Well, it says that they're found in forests, open grasslands, and deserts." A pause. "Of course, then there's one other thing... Shadowsongs are nocturnal."

An eerie silence between the two of them after Lord X-Giga-X had said that. Both of them gave each other a look of slight concern. Seconds later, Grodisflare finally spoke.
"Well, me guess we go to desert-" He quickly was interrupted.
"No way, Grodis. I can't have you uncomfortably flying through a desert in the cold of night." A pause. "Not again. I'll handle this on my own."
Grodisflare stared at his friend with uncertainity, but then sighed. As much as he wanted to go with him, cold was not good for an armored wyvern. "If you say so..." Grodisflare quickly noticed Lord X-Giga-X flipping through the pages of the book once again. "Uh... what you doing?"
"Seeing if there's anything else I can use."

As he read through the printed text of the book, a thought crossed his mind:
I'd see what was going on in the colosseum... but really, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Especially with Darkside's shadowimpery sealed.

  5. Vale's arm began shaking just as Valerie passed through his blood-red eyes with such a level of fright. The Scarlet Gunslinger's gaze was empty, abyssal and devoid of any care. Slowly, his cold pale face cracked a small smile as he aimed his desert eagle at the fleeing girl carefully.
"Valerie..." He whispered, a voice as cold as frost with a sharp edge of evil beneath. Just as the gunslinger placed his quick finger on the trigger, his hand jerked back along with a loud bang from his trusted weapon. He apperantly missed.

    I W-WONT LET YOU-

Looking down, Oikeus' foot rose as he spotted Vale's face engulfed with his special metalic black hide. The trapped god rose a brow just as he composed himself, then gave off a cold hiss upon seeing the gunslinger not submitting just yet. Vale soon got up quickly, jumping back as he formed a shotgun in his arms. The Scarlet Gunslinger didn't look defeated yet. His eyes burned with pure fury.

Gaga stopped slightly as she tried to walk away shortly after the missunderstanding. Blinking, she whispered to herself and smiled slightly. However, she looked slightly disturbed. A little too hung up on her thoughts. "No no, it's fine. I don't really need to learn about that. It's your thing, not mine."

  6. Narrowing her eyes slightly at the Shapeshifter's unusually irritated behavior, Espira watched him wordlessly leave the ancient structure known as the Colosseum... Though, she attributed it to the trapped being she had just disregarded. She gave a short sigh followed by a subtle shrugging motion, before her attention traveled to Kyton. Effectively, he did not seem to be immediately dangerous, and furthermore, was particularly friendly to other Cultists. Just a new arrival, she thought, still wordlessly on her part. There were, indeed, several other variables Espira had not factored in yet, but...

    -----~---~---~-----

"V-Vale?" the Diclonius wondered aloud, trying to grasp the situation--but he then blinked as his own extraempathic sense registered the tension of dread, the severity of a conflict... "But I thou--" the echo of the gun made Shadow jump in sudden fright, his own blood become flowing frost from beneath the skin, bang audible enough to leave a distinctive phantom ringing in his ears.

"Stay here." it was a command. The sharp tone betrayed what he would have intended to sound like, much less the fact that, in that instant, Shadow did not spoke like himself at all... but his experimental mind had been triggered awake. Illusionary shapes became more prominent around the experiment; faintly transparent, almost cloaked limbs sprouting from his back without a direct command. Vectors.

Shadow blinked, snapping from this short trance, though his purpose had been set. It only took him two seconds of hesitation as he left Valerie's side--with a short glance behind him to assure she wouldn't follow him--and then, his pacing became a run. Arriving to the hallway just by the end of the flight of stairs, he saw Vale in a state he truly had not witnessed before. Another moment of hesitation, this one spanning much longer than before, as his blue gaze locked with the dead crimson of the Scarlet Gunslinger's...

  7. I often find myself wondering the same regarding Giga, Erahvs. He seems to be of the notion that I would betray him in some way. I can guarantee that such an action has never been in my plans. Jude said to Erahvs through telepathy, Though I understand his concerns, I do not understand why he would believe me a traitor of any stripe. He proceeded to look sharply at Jack and Dark, almost as if telling them that now was not the time for petty arguments. He stopped for a few seconds, as if he had just remembered something important. "Oh dear. It seems I have forgotten about something very important at my residence." He said, "I must depart for now, I will see the three of you as soon as possible." With that, he seemed to almost blur out. Judging from the blur's direction, one could venture a guess that he was heading for his lakeside house.

"What was that about?" Jack asked. Realising though that it was of no real importance, he turned to Erahvs one final time, "The Colosseum? Why didn't I think of that! Thanks Erahvs." Then he too darted off, this time in the direction of the Colosseum. "Now that we've officially reached what seems to be the end of the conversation, I guess we both should go inside or something. I mean, I'm not standing out here all day." Dark said, not realising that he hadn't fed in a few days. It'd hit him later, and then he'd feel like going outside again.

  8. "Come back...come back, little girl.." Vale whispered, a deep voice slicing the air like a knife through butter. The possessed Scarlet Gunslinger soon re positioned his weapon again and aimed, the shaking in his gun-wielding arm no longer quivering oddly. Without wasting any time, Vale quickly blurred out of view. The loud bangs of his desert eagle soon followed as a raining cascade of bullets began to hit each wall- each piece of furniture. The bullets lingered on for a moment as they stuck on every surface they hit. Glowing a malicious hue, each bullet then released a black strand of energy, waving to and fro while Vale reappeared hanging onto a chandelier. Smug and maniacal looking.

  9. Valerie paled as Shadow suddenly descended the stairs, outstretching a hand from her frozen form as if to grasp at him from the distance. "N-No, Shadow-" Valerie started, but Shadow had already gone down the steps. Valerie couldn't move, her shivering complexion stuck in an impossible to escape grasp of terror. Looking about, she retreated her hand back to her, feeling her body going numb as she clenched her hands together close to her chest, awaiting to the sounds of what was to be an inevitable battle. She knew she had to find some cover, some place of safety, but her legs belayed every order and command given by the small girl. She felt helpless, stuck in her numbed world of terror, awaiting the inevitable that was to be another attempt on someone's life. She closed her eyes, regaining the feeling of her body shivering.

CrazE's eyes suddenly stretched wide as he jumped slightly to the sound of ... a gunshot? His body immediately pulsed with adrenaline as a slight ringing echoed about his ears. "Who- Who just shot a gun?!" he exclaimed, looking about the room as if to see the person through the walls. His eyes glanced and connected with his sky serpent mate's, an immediate look of concern splaying over him as he hastily made his way to the door.

Darius smiled, encouraging her to take his hand. "No, please," he stated, "Allow me. I will show you what I see like I have shown your friend Vale. I am more than happy to show you what I perceive the world." Darius kept his firm but welcoming stance toward the divine woman, an ever-kept smile only magnifying the gaze of his magnificent eyes.

  10. Once Jason was safely out of earshot, Kyton sighed. "Rather aggressive sometimes, isn't he?" His face took on a thoughtful expression, eyes showing a hint of concern. More quietly, he said, "Suppose it's needed as leader, but..." He trailed off and glanced at Espira as if just noticing that her attention was on him. Ah, yes. This particular enigma. Worth investigating. He grinned in a friendly manner, turning to face Espira directly. "My apologies, I'm being discourteous. Was there something you wished to say?" He asked the girl, keeping his attention focused but his senses broad.
    [hr]
Jason walked briskly away from the ancient structure that was the colosseum, too agitated to pay much attention to his surroundings... Of course, Mimring noticed this and kept in the cloudline above the shapeshifter, soaring without beating his wings more than once in a while. Rather warm for the end of autumn, The dragon said conversationally, a weak and rather forced attempt to lighten Jason's mood. He didn't get much of a response except for a vague feeling of acknowledgement. Mimring sighed and gave up, keeping a watchful eye on the boy as he followed in the clouds, heading in the general direction of the forest.
    [hr]
    Starlight was hungry.

The silver brother of Mimring hadn't had much luck hunting the past several days, only managing to catch a scrawny rabbit the night before. It was almost a definite sign of the coming winter, perhaps a harsh one; he would have to head into the mountains and try for goats or make attempts at birds soon. As it was, the dragon lazed in the shade of a tree, his vermilion eyes half-closed as he hovered between the worlds of wakefulness and sleep. In this state, he was still able to consider possibilities. Ziolang and Terra were gone who-knew-where for something that Starlight didn't really care about. It just meant he was free to leave. Finally free... Free to leave the spirit-forsaken territory of the Cult of Ustream. Free to leave the wary and disdainful glare of his brother. Free to return to Durasken and go back to what he was doing there before he'd been dragged to Ustream...

... But something compelled him to stay. He was unsure what. Perhaps it was the near-guarantee of food when he was at his most desperate. Perhaps it was the lack of rival, wild dragons that would otherwise attempt to drive Starlight off or kill him. Perhaps one of the dracomancers was encroaching upon his mind. Or perhaps it was just not being used to freedom. All Starlight knew was that he almost felt as if he could not leave. He gave a short, irritated growl as he crossed his foreclaws, giving up on sleep. He raised his head and looked around, feeling something was amiss... Probably not my concern...

  11. Espira now truly looked at Kyton. Even though her crimson irises, sharply focused on his venomous yellow eyes, would have meant utmost death in another situation, it was clear her intentions were not malicious in any way. She cast her view away after a single second of silence, proceeding with an indifferent, yet definite, "Nothing at all." which indicated she had no intention of starting a conversation. There was only a brief pause she spent in silence, watching Jason walk away from her position, before Espira spoke up again.

"However, you might be correct. Though it is strange--perhaps even new to myself--seeing him act like this." Espira's words and general approach of her point always seemed to be carefully chosen or directed in advance, but it in reality happened to be never the case.

    -----~---~---~-----

    "You do it like this."

There was a phantasmal motion blur, and the bullets never hit her.

With no warning, no preparation, no tell other than the deft clicks of the metal triggers ejecting the projectiles like an instantaneous, piercing cascade complemented by the ringing bangs of the firearm, Shadow visibly cringed. Cacophony's reverberations danced wildly around the veins of the Hill Home, a faint analogy to otherworldly trumpets proudly announcing an incoming catastrophe. Bullets, traced into the edge of visible space as impossibly quick yellow segments, found their trajectories diverged, deflected, rebounded as the Diclonius' psychokinetic limbs repositioned in a blink, preventing damage.

Shadow composed himself immediately, vision darting above, near the ceiling. Deranged, the Scarlet Gunslinger held somehow, threatening with death that would be delivered by the gun... or perhaps not? His vectors rippled slightly with a new frequency quickly overcoming the standard solid one as the chaos ended right after, but he had to retaliate. Despite the fact he he did not even want to do so in the first place. The instant the extensions stabilized, astral hands replaced by viciously edged, narrowing blades, his instinctive mind attacked.

"Then, you aim for the heart."

    A gurgled scream ensued.

Detaching from its defense formation like an independent entity, a vector arced, shooting straight towards Vale like an ethereal javelin. Shadow only registered this with a slight jolt of fear immediately after, for he then deviated the phantom limb's path slightly so as to not completely impale Vale like the vector was originally intending to do. Shadow didn't want to kill him.

  12. "He seems... easily agitated." Kyton muttered, half to himself. But then he shook his head, thoughful concern morphing into a casual and bright expression as he looked at Espira. His eyes flicked towards Darkside for the briefest instant. "Walk and talk? It doesn't seem as if there's any bussiness left here, and..." He jerked his head at the dark being as he trailed off. Kyton grinned, a friendly and somewhat curious smile, as he started to continue, but blinked at the sound of gunshots. The shapeshifter's instincts almost made him bristle, but he suppressed and controlled the urge, instead looking in the direction of the shot. Guns? In Ustream? Have these people gotten hold of Nienearclian weaponry? He looked back at Espira, the soldier discipline helping him keep the honest surprise to his yellow irises. "Now, I'm not familiar with the happenings around here... but that sounded worrying. What say you we investigate?"

  13. Erahvs watched as Jack and Jude each left in their own way. Erahvs wanted to response to Jude, but for some odd reason, he just didn't actually go through with it. He then listened to Dark's suggestion of the two of them going inside. He shook his head in response to the Lycan'suggestion. "You go ahead if you want, Dark," Erahvs said, walking over to the wall of the building to lean on it. "I don't mind staying out here a bit longer."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Comsic Meteor Dexus lazily exited the building, slowly closing the door behind him with his tail. His exit out of the building was more of a crawl, and his blue eyes were barely open. He gave a yawn as he looked around the surrounding area. It was clear he was far too tired for this job, and for good reason. A nocturnal dragon having to do work in the morning. He barely made up for the hours of sleep he spent on repairing the lab, and now having to do this. "Ugh... too tired for this..." Dexus mumbled, obviously still tired. "And even if I wasn't, I don't even know where to start looking..." He yawned once more. "Maybe Giga could help me out here, what with that tracking system of his..."

  14. This boy seems to posses a cluster of frequencies all at one point...How strange-
Giving off a chilling snarl, Vale quickly vanished just before the vector struck the swinging chandeler that he just left hanging around. One loud and noticable footstep was heard just moments after, but then Vale's footsteps began to grow more silent and silent. Was he running away? No. His speedy tactic was only a mere distraction he used in order to buy him some time. Vale- or Oikeus, as he is, had a sudden interest towards the Diclonius. That interest needed time, time so that he may decide his next move. With a brief snap of his fingers while in an almost 'invisible' motion, The freeflowing strands of nosii began to bristle into attention, firming up and pointing up towards the sky like a bed of needles. One laugh was then heard once more, it's sadistic echo radiating through the entire home. For once, Vale was no longer that semi-peaceful Gunslinger.
He was- once more after many weeks, Five.

Starr's senses almost stung upon hearing the many rounds of eerie shots fired in her own home. The Royale Serpent immediately snapped her attention towards the door which led to the main hallway, hissing threateningly with her fangs flashing with caution. "I only have a hunch, but..." Giving off another hateful hiss, Starr immediately moved away and opened a drawer. Her thoughts were racing with many worries. The adrenaline surging through her bloodstream yelled out "Attack, kill, end." But she couldn't listen. Ever since becoming a mother, the Royale Serpent's main worry was the safety of her two hatchlings. Her instinctual drive was much more dominant, much more louder than her common sense. All she wanted to do was tear apart the /one/ bastard who shot a few rounds in her home. Her nest. Around /her/ babies. Starr couldn't help but growl and rummage through her drawer. "CrazE- please grab the kids and keep a good eye on them. I'm going to check things out and see whos the asshole shooting in /my/ lab." After giving the orders firmly, her eyes narrowed upon feeling and pulling out a small pistol. Now, this wasn't just an ordinary pistol. It was a shock pistol. Old Grenian tech. By far the most painful. Spinning it in her fingers for a moment, Starr placed the pistol snugly between her hands and ran off, closing the door shut behind her and making her way down the principle hallway and towards the stair's railings where her eyes widened considerably with what she saw.

"Well....okay I guess..." whispered the Tyro Reader shyly. Her eyes kept locked with Darius' mysterious gaze. Something about that stare was....different. The sensation of peace, unusual peace caught her undivided attention. Gaga couldn't help but give a slight, heartwarming chuckle as her soft hand softly placed itself above Darius' hand. Upon doing so, a sudden jolt of white energy suddenly jumped out from her fingertips and to the ground. "ACK!" Yelled out the surprised woman, jumping back as the energy simply stood on the floor bellow, glowing eerily.

  15. CrazE bristled at the sounds of more gunshots, tensing his muscles for what would be an apparent fight; that is, until Starr reacted before him. Eyes widening as she prepared for battle, ordering him to stay with the kids, he felt his lips shudder in protest, trying to get out any words at all. "N-Now hold on-" he started, but his serpentine mate was already off. He scowled, his own instinctual drive kicking forward as his fists tighten. "I'm the man here, I'm supposed to be-"

His fueled rage of dominance stopped as his thoughts immediately triggered to the only person left who could be in danger. Valerie. Immediately his face contorted to one of pure concern, looking down at his twins. They all had to be brought to safety. With a gentle swoop of his arms, he scooped Ringo and Rye into his arms, not bothering to try the handle as he simply busted the door down with a good kick. Looking out into the hallway warily, he made his way to toward the stairs, looking both directions once again before ascending, his pace steady, his grip firm on his children. His eyes focused on the doorway ahead as he ascended, immediately passing through determinedly before stopping.

Valerie heard the several gunshots, only causing her to close her eyes and instinctively grab her head defensively, crouching as she felt a slight shiver. All of it happened too soon. She shook her head, attempting to avert her attention to something, anything. Why so early in the morning? Why /now/? What happened?... The thoughts buzzed and fluttered past her mind constantly, as if she were to find the answer easily and all she needed to do was simply focus. The panic only ensued more as her thoughts wandered to Shadow. Had any of those bullets connected? Had he been struck down before he'd begun?...

No. He's stronger than that, she thought, hoping to raise her mood, her spirit of hope just a little. However, the thought remained, if only slightly, a leeching doubt that kept her from gaining confidence. It was all too quick... in Valerie's peripheral vision, a blur ascended the stairs, only making her jump as she looked up in panic. Three pairs of eyes looked back at her, making her immediately relax ever so slightly. "A-Alex...." she whispered, immediately making her way toward him before embracing him, still slightly trembling. "V-Vale, he's gone insane..."

  16. Espira remained where she was even at the invitation issued by the Shapeshifter, speaking only after Kyton raised the question, "I would. However--" her voice halted immediately as a cacophony of gunshots, pitch unwavering and overlapping, tore through the peaceful quiet of the morning atmosphere. She tensed, staying completely still for the instant her brain processed this stimulus, for the first memory that was imprinted in her brain, as if subconsciously, was of her sister. Rationality ripped away the figment before it could even become a vague idea, and the Crimson Meister concluded it had to be Vale. But why him? It did not sound like he was training, the thought crossed her mind.

"Investigate I will." it was set. She traced the direction mentally--not Cradle Forest, not the Cult Headquarters... Her red eyes seemed to cast an ethereal light for a second before dimming down into normality. She turned towards her target direction, Mana melding together in her left hand to form an ebony dagger, guard graced with symmetrical, arcing patterns. It was almost a law to her to remain always alert, and always prepared. She opened her mouth once, "Do not fall behind."

And with a blur, she set off.

    -----~---~---~-----

((OoC: Decided not to have Shadow react to Jude. Dark, please fix your post accordingly--Jude's part can have a semblance of buildup instead of just defying time and space and jumping straight to the scene.)

An almost guttural, inhuman snarl made Shadow freeze instantly, and it might have as well had congealed his spine in a trail of a being's most primal response--fear. With a crash, the psychokinetic limb connected with the ceiling, missing the spot Vale had instantly vanished from. Sadistic laughter consumed the area for a moment, appearing to muffle out every other sound from everywhere... Instincts leapt, warning Shadow through purely intuitive methods of a great danger, an invisible threat that simply was not there. The Scarlet Gunslinger was everywhere.

Retracting the vector swiftly, Shadow's immediate course of action, for someone as inexperienced as him in the arts of combat, was to back away. He nearly tripped on the first of the stairs which lead to the second floor, but stopped there. Ethereal strands, more visible now, seeped out of the myriad bullet holes in the walls, objects and furniture inside in the form of vicious, sharpening points which almost seemed material. His four current vectors tensed immediately, suspended in their positions as opposed to shifting and wavering just slightly, as if they had individually sensed the gravity of the situation. Ready to attack.

    "Why is this... even happening?"

  17. Kyton raised an eyebrow as the Crimson Meister summoned the obsidian blade, opening his mouth to comment, but was interrupted as he was told not to fall behind. This much made him grin- until the girl sped off. Kyton blinked once, vaguely startled at Espira's speed. Faster than a human should be... He quickly shook his head, his form already beginning to fluidly change.

The transition wasn't quite as smooth as one of Jason's, but it was just as fast. Short, almost bristly iridescent green fur sprouted along Kyton's body as his head began to elongate into a shape similar to a deer's, until two long dragon-like horns sprouted from above his ears. The man fell to all fours as his hands and feet melded into cloven hooves and a horselike tail emerged from the end of his spine. In the end, a creature vaguely resemblant to a terran antelope stood proud where a human once had been... and took off after Espira at an impressive speed.

  18. ((OoC: Oops, deleted this by accident.))

In the forest near HQ, one could faintly see a blur of white, pale teal and black rushing by, as if determined to reach a destination. This blur was Jude, destined for his lakeside house, along with his cousin Dennis, who he had forgotten to check up on. He was destined for the house, that is, until, a gunshot -- albeit doppler-shifted in pitch due to his unfathomable speed -- rang through his ears. Almost as quickly as he had dashed off, he stopped on a dime. The shot had come from the direction of Starr's Hill Lab. From the direction of Shadow and Vale. Shadow and Vale. Vale. "Oh dear..." He said, his heart sinking. He knew there could only be one explanation, as the Cult was at peace and Vale had the self-control to not attempt a shot at any other Cultist. "Oikeus has broken the binds." Thinking quickly, he changed his course and blurred out again, heading this time towards the Hill lab. He had to get there before Oikeus did anything more.

  19. You're an u-undeserving-
And another furious cascade of bullets whizzed by the god, hitting his black armor with surprising force. Bullet by bullet, small dents appeared on his slick armor, but soon began to regenerate without warning.

Vale's metalic black hide glowed with an eerie red aura around every inch, every detail of his carved out body. The sink of anger overflowed tremendously upon each attempt to defeat what some may consider his 'alter ego.' The Scarlet Gunslinger's fingers gripped the shotgun tightly, his burning scarlet gaze fixed on his enemy. Oikeus simply snorted at Vale, looking somewhat tired of dodging and moving. He simply didn't have the sufficient energy to do so.

Running down the opposite staircase to the apparent battlefield bellow, Starr's heartbeat sped up with fear. Those ethereal black strands of nosii were literally all over the place. Sharp as the sharpest knives. All she could do was gasp and keep ascending the stairs, trying her best to avoid even laying a finger on these strange things. "Wh-what's....going on.." As if on cue, the Scarlet Gunslinger sprouted out from his apparent hiding, quickly wrapping his now black metallic arm around her young neck while the other securely gripped onto her lower half. With the sudden surprise, Starr dropped her weapon and marveled at it- gazed hopelessly as it fell to the floor and away from her grip. Vale's abyssal eyes gazed down at the Royale Serpent, black as night orbs of death slicing up her chocolate eye- night breaking ever-lasting day. Starr let out a frightened yelp and wiggled around powerfully, kicking around her legs as much as she can with an attempt to strike it free. But Vale simply didn't listen. Tightening his grip, he looked up at the rest and spoke strongly. Spoke differently. Roaring three tones lower:
"I shall suffice with this woman..."

  20. Meanwhile, near the Hill's main entrance, a white blur could be spotted heading straight for it. Pricilla! Shadow! Valerie! Anyone?! Jude relayed telepathically, worried about what the Trapped God could be doing to them. He nearly ran headlong into the door before stopping a few feet in front of it. He thought about knocking, but then realised that he could feasibly have the leg-up on Vale if Oikeus were to attempt anyone's life. He needed surprise. Knowing Starr, the front door would have been locked anyway. He needed an inconspicuous way in, like a ventilation shaft, or a window. A ventilation shaft... that was it! He looked around for any sort of vent, however, it seemed the only ones were on the roof. He had to get up there without alerting Vale. There was a small rail that wrapped around the rooftop, and knowing this may well be his only way up, as seeing fog on an otherwise lovely day would arouse suspicion, he brought out a Frozen Chain and threw it up to the rail.
