Cult of Ustream ~ Official Roleplay 【Main RP Thread】

Discussion in 'Roleplay Archives' started by Keileon, Jul 27, 2012.

  1. Clashing resonances of stone and energy generated from the spontaneous thrust--no, launch as soon as the being, in his own prison of shadows, finished the phrase. Nondescript, yet elegant obsidian in the form of a sword rested firmly among the cracked puncture it created upon contact. However, the shifting cell remained completely stable. Its blade narrowly grazed his throat, but went no further. A warning?

"Do not," someone beckoned, voice traced subtly by the imperative nature of the statement, however numbed down by the overall cold, sharp tone, "make your stay more miserable than it already is."

The Crimson Meister did not bother removing the ebony weapon embedded to the sphere. She had been clear enough. Piercing red eyes scanned the scene as the female, appearing to be around eighteen years old, moved slightly from the nearest wall of the Colosseum as the last traces of her veil shred into nothingness, silvery white hair immediately distinguishable. Lingering sparks of active energy circled one of her hands, both covered by black gloves; she was strangely, completely weaponless. Her outfit was also almost completely black, but possessing a certain pattern and style that has become well-known among the members of the Cult of Ustream...

    She was Espira Xirro.

  2. There was a brief snarl as Jason was startled by Espira's sudden appearance. Two pairs of green eyes and one pair of yellow glanced at the human. Mimring remained on the pillar, relaxing somewhat, his expression slightly relieved as Jason stepped away from Darkside's containment. The boy's face was neutral, the anger still rolling within him, but the blade piercing the dark cell had snapped him out of his... very uncharacteristic rage. Kyton, meanwhile, looked on, carefully regarding Espira almost analytically. Quite the entrance... I haven't even seen what this one can do yet... He nodded a greeting to Espira, but said nothing. For the moment.

As Jason neared the pillar his Familiar was perched on, the dragon flew down. The copper-golden Plated Firedrake glanced at Espira, then looked at Jason, who seemed embarassed by his own conduct. Urgh. What the hell is wrong with me? He asked. His anger was still there, but... strangely self-directed. The only response the boy got was a reassuring feeling from the dragon, an unsuccessful attempt from Mimring to soothe his master. Finally Jason turned to look at Espira, managing to keep his voice level as he forced out, "Uh, hey. Appreciate the help, there..." He trailed off, completely unsure of what to say.

  3. "Well, you may call me Gaga, Mr. Darius." Gaga smiled, "It's a little nickname that's picked up around here a lot lately." With that comment, she silenced herself with a little bit of regret of ever really saying anything. She knew that she lied to everyone saying Gaga was her true name. What made her feel worse was the fact that she couldn't keep up her little play for long. At one point someone will hear her name- or perhaps some soldiers from the 2nd Reair would come to Ustream often to relay messages from the Imperial Circle and other business. All in all, she was going to be revealed sooner or later. Gaga sighed upon the thought, scratching her head slightly to break the silence. " What a very unusual thing you were doing earlier. Perhaps you can teach me?" She giggled.

With a slight groan, Vale left Gaga's room without a word. However, his thoughts were slightly active with wonder. Where had his madam go? The Scarlet Gunslinger remained naturally nonchalant while thinking, his bare feet walking down each cold step as the halls echoed his individual step. Once arriving downstairs, Vale look a quick glance towards his right, his scarlet eyes burning unusually with such a flame.

"...Strange that I..." Pausing, Vale shook his head and blinked forcefully. Upon opening his eyes, the hallway itself began to spin wildly, voices....echoes of gunfire ringing in his ears. The world around him looked like a spinning carousel with added, flashing blotches of crimson here and there."...Urgh......N-Not......" Vale growled, summoning an AK-47 and slamming the barrel on the ground forcefully to keep him afoot. The Scarlet gunslinger's voice spoke softly in a dark tone, slightly scratchy and forced."No."

As the tub swirled and emptied out slightly, bubbles- a whole wave of raining bubbles landed on the eager twins. Both of the little cute babies giggled and reached out for them, trying to grab each individual bubble. Ringo gave a slight laugh, then louder as one bubble landed onto his nose. He stopped and gazed for a moment, sparking gray eyes staring into the Un-popped bubble. Then without a warning, it burst into nothing, causing Ringo to snivel slightly.

  4. CrazE laughed, finishing cleaning them up, but simply letting them enjoy their time with their bubbles. They always seemed to love it. Just like I, and... CrazE stopped himself, shaking his head immediately. He couldn't bring that memory back, not after what happened...

He focused on swathing the bubbles everywhere, making the twins coo in glee. The slowly descending foam seemed to only portray the innocence of his little twins, making him smile sweetly at the pure happiness they were stuck in. The happiness he was able to give to them. "I will never leave you two..." he suddenly whispered, suddenly catching himself as he wondered why he had said it.

Darius nodded. "Well then, Ms. Gaga," he started, chuckling slightly. He could sense the change in her mood upon mentioning her name, making him inquire. But perhaps another time. He took in a breath as she asked about his technique. "Madam, what I was performing was a technique known as 'Position Channeling.'" He looked at her to see if she had any recognition of it, then proceeded. "Every morning I will choose certain positions I would take during battle, such as defensive stances or offensive stances, and simply stay in that position for a long period of time. While doing this, I focus on channeling my energy as much as I can while in these positions for my body to get the better feel of channeling my energy in these poses." He stopped taking a defensive stand toward Gaga. "See, by taking this pose and training my energy to flow easily in these positions, I may be able to unlock and perform powerful techniques on a whim due to my energy flowing easier. After years of doing so, almost any position I take I may be able to perform any move with ease, giving me advantage in battle." He suddenly shifted his right hand, pointing two fingers out to a hill in a blur, a sudden blast of energy sending out and causing the hill to burst into a cloud of dirt. Darius smiled, going into a relaxed pose as he looked upon the form of Gaga. "You have a very powerful energy within you," he finally commented, his eyebrows raising under his blindfold.

Valerie continued down the hallway, looking about the walls and the pictures adorning it. It made her smile slightly, making her feel as if taking a walk down a literal memory lane. However, none of these were her memories, only making it more interesting to try and interpret each picture. It occured to her with a slight smile that some of the men in these pictures were actually the players in the band The Beatles. "Huh..." she let out in realization. Who knew they were involved in interplanetary things? She then suddenly stopped as she saw a figure scrunching to something, leaning back on.. a gun? She approached slowly, attempting to recognize any features at all about who she was approaching. The dark hair, muscular form, the gun in general... Who did she know who had a gun?

    "V-Vale?..."

Darkside retreated only slightly from the sudden strike at his throat, his bloodred eyes glowing in anger as they travel over to meet the crimson eyes of the Crimson Meister. He slowly leaned back against the box, letting out a snort. "You don't know the definition of misery, human," he hissed, looking up at the shapeshifter with an almost mocking glare. "I'll be waiting here if you truly believe you rule over me," he mocked with a sarcastic tone. His gaze then flickered to the second shapeshifter, only letting out a slight grunt. "Did they call for reinforcements? Or are you here to keep this guy 'company'?" Darkside then winked with a cruel mockery.

  5. "I'm back my wittle cuttiepies!" A voice broke the slight silence of the bathroom as Starr burst in with a smile. In each hand was a set of cute clothing- her right hand with a very pretty pink dress with a pink ribbon and black dress shoes, and her left hand had an adorable pair of brown shorts, a white shirt, and a red button-up shirt. Starr gave a smile as she walked over to CrazE, planting a cute kiss on his cheek. "They look very sparkly clean! You did a great job." Upon planting that kiss, Rye tilted her head at the weird gesture she had just seen. Looking at her playing brother, Rye giggled and suddenly planted a slobery kiss on his cheek, causing Ringo to squeal and make an ew-face.

Gaga stayed silent for a moment, then took a glance at her blade. Was this instrument causing it? It was baffling to her- she wasn't powerful...was she? "Me..? Or are you saying my blade has a strange energy?" She inquired with a hint of doubt in her tone.

"O-Oh, hello..there.." He whispered, trying to compose himself but failing quite horribly. Vale shut his eyes strongly for a moment in an attempt to keep himself controled but it wasn't working much. That strange, twisted world he saw moments ago became much worse than he had thought.

Opening his eyes widely, everything around him turned dark- endless darkness signifying the great abyss in his very soul. Valerie's voice became a slight echo to Vale, causing him a slight panic as he began to run....and run...and run. No matter how far he went, the only thing reacting to his mortal attempt to escape this...reality was sudden beams of light highlighting the trail in which vale was traveling.
The doors of perception are merely a fantasy which I shall refuse to open again...Valen.. Vale thought, his forehead finally breaking into a sweat.

Do not fall into that open door again..

  6. With the mere, almost imperceptibly quick flick of her hand, a second blade, identical to the one already lodged inside the cell of shadows, crashed from another angle, the pointed end stopping dangerously close to the being's neck. Still, the formation of darkness did not even waver from the assault, perhaps a trick of the Trained Assassin? Despite not moving closer or raising her tone of voice, Espira's words were as equally heavy nevertheless, "I very well do."

Obsidian met Dark Mana twice with force as two other swords surged from nowhere, edges barely grazing the space around the apparition but not directly aimed to pierce him, or worse. "Now listen. I do believe you are in no position to start petty arguments whatsoever. I do believe we do not have to stand you, either." with the slightest command of Espira's Body Mana, two more blades impaled the prison from seemingly random angles. "You are testing the boundaries of our patience. It definitely wouldn't be a..." a seventh weapon plunged from above, tilted axis being the only factor preventing it from being driven through his head. "pleasant experience if you dared to tread even further still."

Espira snapped her fingers nonchalantly, her entire demeanor unchanging throughout the act. She did not even appear to be angry for the matter. Slicing sizzles echoed all across the prison of darkness as the blades aligned themselves slowly, threateningly, to point at the alleged "Prince of Darkness", their ebony color fading away just to be replaced by an aggressive scarlet one. Even at the most tiny twitch of his being, the swords would also turn to aim at him. A single thought pattern would be all it would take to send them forward. But she did not intend to do so. At the moment, that is.

"And I will personally assure myself of that."

Seven red swords dissipated into particles of Mana which lazily drifted into nothingness. The sphere of shadows was completely intact.

  7. Jason snarled at Darkside's words, but nothing more. Just gotta control myself. Yeah... not that I've been doing a good job at that. The thoughts were bitter. Mimring gave a slight sigh, nudging Jason's shoulder with his muzzle. Absently, the boy reached for the dragon's neck, placing a hand on a thick mithril-orichalcum armored plate as if it was a pet's back. A comfort thing, usually it worked... but for some reason, it didn't this time. A few thoughts passed between the two before Mimring gave Darkside a glare, even as Espira made her point to the being.

Kyton stood a bit straighter at Espira's display, ignoring Darkside's earlier comment. Just what is she? Clearly human, but... He watched the girl as the blades dissipated into nothing. A few mental notes were made. Analyzing. Calculating. Something tells me I won't enjoy a fight with her. Best be cautious, He thought, resisting the urge to reach for the sword sheathed at his waist. However... He cleared his throat, glancing at Jason before looking back at Espira. "If Darkside is this much trouble, why is he not simply killed? Do you have some sort of use for him?" He asked with honest curiosity.

  8. CrazE looked over in surprise, feeling the kiss and planting a quick kiss back before chuckling. "They love bathtime. It honestly wasn't that hard," he then glanced over at them, seeing Rye give a kiss to her brother and practically melting, letting out another laugh at Ringo's reaction. He looked back at Starr, looking into her eyes with a sweet smile. "They're amazing.." he whispered, before turning his attention to the towels, getting his uppity self again. "So! Shall I clean the little ones off before you 'decorate' them?" he asked with a tease at the last comment.

Darius tilted his head slightly, looking down at the blade and back up at Gaga. "You and the blade aren't one?... Interesting..." he replies, looking away a moment before returning his sightless gaze. "By the way, I have to thank you. You are about the first person to not mention my blindness around here." He chuckled, then sighed. It was obvious he didn't truly take it seriously.

Valerie tilted her head concernedly, approaching slowly. The man seemed in psychological agony, simply closing his eyes and stuck in what seemed like thought suspension, for he didn't even try to make another move. When she was within physical distance, Valerie touched the man's arm gently to see if it could help pull him from whatever strange hypnosis he may be under. "V-Vale?... You don't seem ok..." she replied worriedly. "Do you need to see Starr?... She can help with anything medical..."

Darkside stayed still throughout the whole intimidating ordeal, simply closing his eyes at the minute threats of the blades that surrounded him. "You don't know," he simply repeated with a much darker tone, a low growl that emanated the colosseum. His eyes then darted up as the shapeshifter spoke up, his crimson gaze narrowing. "You all simply don't get how immortal a Prince of Darkness is, obviously," he commented, shaking his head in disappointment. "You'll find my use in no time if I'm kept any longer in this prison of my own energy," he smirked slightly as he let the last phrase slip off his tongue, "As your harbinger of doom."

  9. Starr laughed along with CrazE upon seeing Rye try to imitate what she had seen between her parents. It seemed like everyone was enjoying that cute little moment, but Ringo wasn't taking it too kindly. He snorted loudly, rubbing his cheek rapidly as if it was dirty. "You dry them off and I'll dress them- sounds like a plan." she chuckled, "After that, can you take care of them for a while? I need to head on back to HQ to salvage some blueprints."

"Ah! Um...no...how could you say that me and this sword are one?" gasped Gaga, taking a glance at the white blade with a slight curiousity. Darius' words caught to her, however. That blade- no matter where she places it, always seems to appear out of thin air. Gaga imagined that strange phenomenon during a moment of silence, picturing the handle of the sparking white blade shoved out slightly by a literal white rip in the air. Never before had this blade done such a thing when her mother had her hands on it. Maybe it really was part of her. Coughing suddenly, Gaga composed herself and smiled. "Well, back to my thoughts and this conversation huh? Hahah...Well Mr. Darius, I never am the one to point out fallacies among others. So I never really felt comfortable asking if you were blind or not."

Upon stopping momentarily in what seemed to be the middle of an endless dark trail, Vale took a big breath and darted his gaze around carefully. He felt a slight wamrth touch his arm, but..This strange nightmare had no end either way. Not one in sight.

You yourself are aware that you are simply trying to flee from your own self, Valen...But why? You are so close to your destiny, so close to the end of your trail...The one in which you were chosen to walk...

Vale growled out, forming a pistol in his hand and aiming it without hesitation. Mistaken, Oikeus. He hissed under his breath. I follow no trail.
The voice in Vale's head grew deeper, more powerful. A lingering tone of enjoyment floating about. Your denial amuses me to no end. However I have had enough of this delay. You are only one soul away from freeing my me. I /must/ be brought into that world once again. You /must/ obey and help me reach my goal....greatness is but a shot away, Valen...You can break me free, allow me to roam and watch over the planet that should be mine...

No...absolutely not...you only want revenge, and will get it at no cost...you want to rid every being alive in Finlandia. Do you realize what you are about to spark? You realize they have a guardian of their own? Who by the way, caused you to be sealed away in a /fucking blade/ until I came about. You are definately an insane thing aren't you? I will not allow you to control me. And I will definately not allow you to have me take another innocent life away.
With a moment of silence, the dark enviroment around the Scarlet Gunslinger phased into white- a figure dressed in black armor stood in front of him....a spine-tingling crimson gaze locking onto Vale's gaze. There was only one black chain left hugging his armored ankle.
Heh. Very well, your opinion need-not matter to me.
looking back down, the figure laughed without a tone. Because you have crossed through the door of perception once again.

  10. "You are pathetic." Espira dismissed the trapped apparition with a hand, her voice carrying a certain sense of finality, allowing him to continue rambling as she approached both. Her red gaze quickly flicked from Jason to... Kyton, was it? She considered the question for a couple of seconds...

"No. Rather, we should find out a way to contain it. I am certain it has several answers for my questions, or any of us', for the matter."

Most remained unanswered, however. She would have, however, directed her attention at making Darkside cooperate if it were not for the fact that, the whole Cult had been practically terrorized by an extremely powerful automaton known only as the Black Assassin. It was surprising, even after more than a month of his appearance, that he was supposedly sealed inside crazE's mind. Even more surprising is that he happened to know something about her she did not. Espira could clearly recall the shadow being's words. That, however, is something I will figure out sometime else. her thoughts trailed back to Kyton's question.

"He could be useful," Espira replied rather idly, "Though he seems to be having issues cooperating altogether."

  11. "Where is it?" Lord X-Giga-X was searching through the library's many shelves, removing books from the shelves and examining the cover of each book before placing them back on the shelves. "It should be in here somewhere!"

"You seem frustrated." Lord X-Giga-X turned back to Grodisflare."Yeah. Anyone trying to look for a book while trying to keep Jude out of their head would be frustrated too. Now will you stop sitting there and help me find this book?"
Grodisflare gave a low growl, and began to look at a nearby shelf. Books suddenly started floating on and off of the shelf. A simply trick performed by Grodisflare's telekinetic ability. "Me no get it... Dracoimpery and shadowimpery, yet you no think of way to use them to resist Jude mental invasion. Why?"
"Because, I..." Lord X-Giga-X stopped, his palm suddenly striking him in the face. "You know, this is why I'm glad I have you around, Grodisflare. I never thought about that..." Grodisflare gave a chuckle in response to this. Lord X-Giga-X continued to search the shelves. "Alright then, I'll try something later, and then use Smeremus as practice." "Why Smeremus?"
"Only guy that can see one's memories that I trust right now."

Seconds later, his search ended. Lord X-Giga-X pulled a book off of a shelf. It appeared to be a book on several species of dragons. He approahced a nearby table and sat in the chair. He then placed the book on the table, starting to carefully read it over. "Well, might as well look for a potential fourth dragon to add to the club. It'll give me something to do while Giag and others are getting stuff done for the experiments.
"Where Giag anyway?" Lord X-Giga-X glanced away from the book and looked toward Grodisflare, an eyebrow raised. "Good question..."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    "Hold still, damnit!"

The boy swung the icy hammer down upon a starred-nosed mole positioning itself in a hole in the ground... A hole among several other holes. The mole quickly ducked into the hole, and seconds later, reemerged from another "Stop doing that!" Having been at this for what seemed like hours, Giag was mildly irritated. Once again, he swung his hammer down upon the mole, only to have apparently missed once again as the mole reemerged from another hole.

A groan was uttered from the lips of the errored clone of Lord X-Giga-X. "I don't have time for this stupid game of whack-a-mole!" He raised his hammer, preparing to bring it down once again. However, he didn't. Instead, he used his free hand to strike his forehead. ... What the hell am I doing?

Giag then placed the hammer on the ground, then fired a burst of dark energy at the mole. As the mole ducked into the hole, Giag fired more bursts into the other holes. The bursts raced through the holes, eventually colliding with each other resulting in a small, underground explosion. As this occured, the mole was shot out of the hole like a bullet, crashing into a nearby tree and recoiling back next to Giag. The body remained completely motionless after that, its brown fur stained with its own blood. If the explosion didn't kill it, the crash most certainly did the job.

"Finally!" Giag then aimed both of his hands at the lifeless body, firing a spread of ice at it to completely freeze it over. Once that was done, he reached into pockets. From one of the two pockets, he pulled out a pencil. From the other, a sheet of paper. The paper had three words written on it in large, black letters: bear, mole, and orca. The word "bear" had a think line across it, as if stricken off a list... which is what the writing on the paper actually was. "Let's see... We can cross the mole off of the list." He used the pencil to draw a line across the word "mole". "That just leaves an orca... That's gonna be annoying." He paused, then looked around. "Wait... which way's the ocean?" It didn't take long to realize he was, in fact, in an ocean of sorts... An ocean of trees in the middle of nowhere.

    "DAMNIT, I'M LOST!"

  12. Kyton listened to Espira as she spoke, his yellow eyes tracking her movements before focusing curiously on Darkside. "I see. If he is so uncooperative, how do you plan to get use out of him? Threaten his life?" He gave a sad smile. "As a former soldier, I'm afraid that works less often than people seem to believe." He approached the confined Darkside as if to get a closer look. "What did he do to be trapped in here, anyway? He speaks as if you should fear him. Prisoners often act as such, but this one seems to do it for good reason."

Jason glanced at the other shapeshifter, saying nothing as Kyton asked his questions... not out of lack of an answer, nor out of rudeness, but simply having been thrown into a mood to not talk. Mimring looked at his master for a minute before snorting as he was left to answer. "Darkside has very clearly displayed that he can prove a threat," The dragon said simply. "Lord X-Giga-X actually managed to be of use that day; he sealed Darkside's powers. And, as you can see, Darkside himself." Kyton listened intently to Mimring's dry reply.

More information than I'd even intended. Fantastic. This is going more smoothly than planned...

  13. CrazE nodded, pulling from the bathtub and grabbing two towels, splaying them out over the counters as he made his way back to retrieve the twins. "Sure, I can manage," he chuckled, reaching down and pulling the bubble-soaked Ringo out of the bathtub, placing him onto one of the towels. He smiled at his squirming boy, beginning to rub him dry surrounding him in the warm towel.

Darius smiled at the woman, reaching up to the knot that held the bandage over his eyes. "Well, I don't truly find it a a fallacy. You see-" Darius released the knot, suddenly revealing his amazing eyes. transparent crystal surrounded what looked like carved in perfect circles of pure white, an indescribable point that what seemed like his pupils within the centers. Its color, its form itself, seemed ever-changing as his direction stared directly at Gaga as he continued. "My eyes aren't adapted to what you see. I see what people really are, I see what they hide and what they have." He smiled, closing his eyes a moment before opening them again. "And I see the power within you, Madam."

Darkside simply glared back at the one who was observing him, staying silent. Apparently he had said what he wanted and simply wished them to be off. His bloodred gaze flickered between all of them a moment before he let out a grunt, simply turning his head. Was he to be stuck forever? Suddenly, the dark entity leaned forward, hissing at Kyton to get closer. It was apparent he had something to say that he were to not dispel to the others.

Valerie gave an even more worried look. He barely even responded, stuck in some dream-stricken suspension. "V-Vale.." she continued, gripping him tightly and shaking him hard. "Vale, wake up!" Had he taken something? Was he drugged? Her mind wandered to whatever it could be as she slightly panicked. What if something seriously wrong was happening to him? She'd had a serious problem on her hands with an unconscious or sick man in front of her.

  14. Kyton looked curiously at Darkside as the being ushered him to come closer. An interesting abberation, He thought as he came close to the wall of dark energy, raising an eyebrow at the dark entity. His own senses and instincts tensed, but his military discipline forced it aside with ease. The discipline to not show tension... and even his common sense made it easier to give a relaxed appearance. Darkside was on the inside of a confinement. There was no plausible way for him to get out... That is, if Jason doesn't accidentally free him. That was an interesting display... Kyton glanced back at Jason, who didn't seem to be paying attention to the proceedings, before looking at Darkside expectantly.

  15. "I'm sure you can manage, CrazE...Thats why you're a Daddy- Their daddy." Starr smiled, placing over Ringo and Rye's clothing on a counter and then reaching out for a towel. Ringo squealed and snuggled against the warm towel with glee, feeling quite energized and ready to take on the morning. Even if he was a mere infant, the boy had some pretty important issues to handle. Most important of all being this: What magic did his father use to make these flying orbs of wonder called "Bubbles". He cooed, looking over at the tub with intrigue. Starr then grabbed little Rye with her towel, cleaning off her little one gently while her little girl poked around her eye at the bubbly wonderland she was in earlier.

Vale hissed and opened fire rapidly, myriad of scarlet bullets heading and spreading out like an infernal fan-like wall of imminent doom. The Scarlet Gunslinger darted his eyes quickly to his sides- left, clear, right, clear as well. However, his efforts were very noneffective. Oikeus quickly tugged his chain in a rapid split second and ripped it out from the 'ground' in which the duo were about to duel in. With such a grace and a grand control of speed, the trapped incarnate god's metalic black boots clacked forcefully as Oikeus backflipped and nearly missed every bullet. Vale simply chuckled under his breath, forming two revolvers in his hands as he blinked and literally stopped the remaining energy bullets from moving. "Do recall that you and I share one destiny- One talent. And that is the... Spinning his dual-revolver combo, he suddenly vanished. Only an echoing slit of venom was muttered out of his breath while the entire room covered with still bullets began to slowly inch closer- leaving off literal rips of black outlined with bright, ethereal scarlet which began to piece apart this very unusual mind-land. Airrtri auf triekva!

    Riiiiip.

A very violent and loud rupture disturbed Oikeus and held him in his place. Barely having enough time to look up, the eerie void-like rips expanded as each bullet hit his black armor, barely penetrating it. But it wasn't all. Vale suddenly phased in front of the very surprised god, holding up his revolvers and looking down at Oikeus as the linear void rips began to attach their ends on the ends of his guns. Oikeus snarled, rearing his black claws near the Gunslinger. What- What is this turn of events I see!? Vale went silent, only holding up his revolvers as he suddenly jerked his body back to his side and pulled- or rather, tossed, Oikeus away. Using the void energy as a sort of "rope" and the bullets as 'hooks' in a way, Vale had almost absolute control over Oikeus. All he wanted was to bound this crazy beast like a hog, however, was this bold move bound to backfire? On the outside of this internal conflict, of course, clear scarlet markings began to slither down Vale's hand as the result of his energy being 'activated'. His were eyes blinking rather slowly while he couldn't even hear Valerie anymore. Clearly, he was far too lost in his subconscious to even react.

Great power..? Why does he keep telling me of that..? "Oh...wow, Mr. Darius...what beautiful eyes you have.." Gaga whispered to herself, gazing upon Darius' wondrous pools that were his eyes. "Now, of course.." Chuckling, she walked a little closer while her rose pink eyes observed the man closely. A slight and sudden buzz sinking into her inner thought as she shook them out again. "Now that I understand your eyes better, I'd say that I want them now. To see things nobody else could was something I always wanted to do...as...a little girl."

  16. Valerie felt completely worried, looking about with an almost panic. Vale literally was not responding, standing there in a complete stupor. She honestly thought that she could see a drizzle of drool, but there was no time to look on that. Swiftly she dashed down the hallway more, ascending the stairs to look for the only person that really came to mind when she needed help.

    "S-Shadow! Shadow I need help!"

Darius looked curiously as he sensed the woman seem to come closer, feeling her piercing gaze into his despite his lack of sight to physically see it happen. He chuckled, taking a slight step back. "Well Madam, I would share if I could, but... my eyes will be staying in their sockets." he replied. He felt a slight nervousness, but remained calm. Memories of those who also had gazed upon his eyes trying to retrieve them flashed across his thoughts, causing him to shake his head. This woman couldn't be like them... could she? he relaxed himself, shaking off the doubt as he awaited her answer to his rejection of a possible proposal.

Darkside pulled in close, his bloodred eyes staring peircingly into the shapeshifter's. "I'd prefer it to not be left alone for long periods of time," he started hesitantly, however keeping his emotionless, hardened gaze. "Maybe if you come around every day, you might witness what I foretell. Either way, I'd prefer a... 'guard', if you will."
He then backed up and scoffed, putting off a little louder. "Because you'll need it." The change between tones was obvious, a sense of seriousness back to arrogance.

  17. Espira noticed the motion immediately, eyes calmly travelling along as Kyton approached the apparition's imprisonment. Even though he was rendered completely helpless by the sphere Lord X-Giga-X had used back then, there was still the fact Darkside managed to turn into a gargantuan aberration which--albeit temporarily--posed an actual threat to the Cult before he was inexplicably almost completely drained of power. The Crimson Meister spoke up as soon as Darkside had finished,

"I suppose this is enough of the Colosseum for one day, would you think so?" it was clear her statement was directed at the group. She cast one last glance at Darkside.

    -----~---~---~-----

    Help.

Casting away a dreamlike essence permeating the realms of his subconscious, the transmitted signal felt beyond physical... Was it another trigger the deepest, instinctual part of his brain had pulled? Blue irises focused on an undefined point of space, the whole view tilted roughly ninety degres due to his position, as he blinked awake. He pulled himself up, shifting into a sitting position at the edge of the bed as the early morning sun illuminated his temporary room. The Hill Laboratory's guest rooms were much smaller than the Cult Headquarters', but he could not complain. It was definitely better than having nothing at all...

He scanned the room as if it was the first time he had seen it. In fact, the boy had been staying there for at least five days, since the aforementioned building was practically in ruins due to the brutal battle against the Black Assassin, several days ago. Shuddering at the uncomfortable memory, he let it drift aside as his gaze darted from a rather haphazard arrange of belongings piled up on top of a nearby table to the window, glass panels revealing the nature beyond. He remained there for a couple of seconds, staring off into the horizon... the view was quite amazing, for the Sky Serpent's home was on top of a nearby hill.

The Diclonius was around sixteen years old, based on records of his existence, and it had been merely two months since he arrived at Euthora. He ran a hand through his obsidian black hair, messy but not quite wild either, as he now stood up, gaze trailing across the room. He was pale, as he, for almost the entirety of his life, had been confined inside a facility named GARNET ever since his birth.

    He was a weapon.

    "S-Shadow! Shadow I need help!"

    He was Shadow Version 27.

Adrenaline pumped through his veins at the words, as faint and distant they were. However, the rational part of Shadow's brain blocked the elicited response--the Black Assassin was no more. A certain level of terror lacking in her tone also suggested nobody was in immediate danger. The Diclonius refocused, traversing the room quickly and opening the door, which lead to the second floor hallway. It was vaguely reminiscent of the actual Cult Headquarters, but it lacked a sense of fondness he had grown accustomed to.

Shadow cautiously peeked, hearing lightly echoing footsteps approach the area, and ventured further to look at the source. Evidently, a clearly agitated Valerie finished ascending an unseen flight of stairs several meters away.

    "W-what's wrong?"

  18. Upon bounding the god under his void 'ropes', the Scarlet Gunslinger hissed and vanished once again. The heavy sounds of running echoing throughout this dream world distracted Oikeus slightly. However, he wasn't going to take this- not from a /kid/. Once Vale appeared, Oikeus spun slightly and tossed Vale down to the floor with his sheer force. Finally. Vale's eyes snapped right open upon feeling his body impact the cold floor bellow. GRRRAH- He groaned out, loosing grip of his revolvers as he quickly looked up at Oikeus.
    It's my turn, boy.
Raising up his foot, the trapped god smirked coldly. Before Vale could even reply, everything phased out...a roaring sound of metal clashing against something brutally occupied what seemed to be a wasteland battlefield.
And it's your turn...to finish your job.

With a rapid quick of the hand, Vale's riffle suddenly vanished just as Valerie yelled for help. He raised his marked hand quickly at her, forming a desert eagle in his fingertips. Was this...really the end of her? Or the beginning of something horrendous?

"No no! I didn't mean it like that!" Gaga nervously said, backing away slowly upon seeing Darius back off. He seemed quite disturbed. "I don't want to poke out your eyes...I really don't...I just....just wanted to feel- see things of this reality which I couldn't see before..see past the material world's pain...I wanted to see things that...that... Upon saying that, the glow in her eyes faded away. Once again those memories of her childhood.....no- No, she couldn't let that come back. Silence took over.

    "...I-I'm sorry...I need to go.."She whispered.

  19. Kyton closed his mouth, cutting short his reply to Darkside before he had even begun, at Espira's words. Citrine eyes glittered almost teasingly as the shapeshifter leaned back from the sphere, looking at the being trapped inside before turning and walking closer to the group. "Oh, I'd say it is," Kyton commented casually. Then he looked around. Interesting... I never noticed this before, but the construction here... almost looks Seotaran... His expression grew a bit more serious, almost thoughtful, at this observation. Probably a coincidence. Shaver's from Jeirno... However, I'll have to ask about the others.

The lime-haired man turned to Jason. The boy still didn't seem to be paying attention... in fact, it seemed as if he was carrying on a telepathic conversation with the Plated Firedrake- gaze turned downward with Mimring watching him intently. "Jason, I was wond--" Kyton inclined his head appeasingly, falling silent as the other shapeshifter's emerald eyes turned to the speaker, a flash of irritation in them before Jason shook his head, holding his forehead and seeming to calm down from whatever had angered him.

"Sorry, Kyton, I'm not really in a conversational mood," Jason half-muttered, half-sighed as he leaned against the stands, lowering his hand. There was a brief pause... and then Mimring sighed, nuzzling his master, before ascending into the air with a few forcefully powerful beats of his large, armored wings. Kyton and Jason both raised their arms as if to block the resulting dust cloud from their faces, and then watched the dragon ascend above the pillars' reaches and circle before heading for the east. It was only a few seconds before Jason shook his head again and went for the colosseum's exit, walking past Espira and Kyton without a word. The latter observed him with... what appeared to be a hint of amusement in his golden eyes.

  20. Lord X-Giga-X continued to flip through the pages of the book, looking for something that he'd find useful on his team. He didn't exactly know what he was searching for, but he thought he'd know when he found it.

And then, he found something. An image of a dark, lean dragon. It was somewhat wolfish in appearance. Large fanned chests were present on its head and tail. And almost conveniently enough, there was a name under the image.
"Shadowsong," Lord X-Giga-X muttered as he read the name of the dragon. Grodisflare came over to the man's side, reading the section of the book with him. Silence for about a minute. Not even a mental conversation between the two as they read the text printed on the pages of the book. Eventually, something that made the armored wyvern speak. "Say that they closely related to Shadow Drakes."
Lord X-Giga-X quickly looked for what Grodisflare was referring to, a look of slight annoyance on his face as he found it. "... So it is... Hopefully, if I do decided to get one on the team, it'll be more reliable than-"
His eyes suddenly widened, then quickly shifted down the page to a paragraph regarding an ability called "Shadowmeld". The dragon's ability to become invisible in dim lighting. A sinister grin appeared on Lord X-Giga-X's face. He knew he'd be able to make use of this ability.

"... You know, if I already hadn't considered you, Grodisflare, I would probably go find a Shadowsong and make it my familiar." He then glanced over to Grodisflare, who was unamused with what he had just said there. "Hey, keyword is 'probably', Grodis. It'd still be likely for it to not happen." A pause. "Although, I'd still like to find a Shadowsong for the team."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The lab of Lord X-Giga-X stood about a mile to the northeast. Reconstruction of the building had been finished several days prior, ironically on the morning of the same day of the recent incident. Still, even with reconstruction completed, there was still work to be done. And with Lord X-Giga-X having to help with repairs to HQ, there was only one man for the job.

Xibu Uif G. The clone of Lord X-Giga-X walked through the dimly-lit hallways of the lab towards an apparent destination somewhere on the first floor. He stopped in front of a blackish door, grabbed the knob of the door, and then slowly opened the door. Inside of the room was the sleeping stellar wyvern, Cosmic Meteor Dexus.

"Dexus." No response. Dexus remained asleep. "Hey, Dexus. Wake up." Still nothing. Xibu tried again, speaking a bit louder this time. "Dexus!" At that moment, Dexus muttered something about... squirrels? Despite that, he was still asleep. He let out a sigh in annoyance.
"For crying out loud..." Xibu began to stomp on the stellar wyvern's head repeatedly. "Wake up, Dexus!" He finally stopped as the wyvern's head moved beneath his foot, and Dexus slowly woke up.

"Gah... Alright, I'm up," Dexus growled, glaring at the clone. "Geez, Xibu, what was the point of that?"
"Nevermind that, stupid." Xibu then paused. "Now, Giag never came back last night, so you're going to go look for him."
"But why me? Why not Death... storm..." Dexus stopped as soon as he realized what was wrong with what he had just said there. "Okay, but can I just get 5 more minutes of slee-" Once again, Dexus felt Xibu's iron boot stomping on his head. "Gah, alright!" The stellar wyvern crawled out of the room, albeit somewhat slowly as he was still a bit tired.
Xibu watched as Dexus left the room, then proceeded to walk out of the room himself.
