  1. They're still making those games?

  2. Atari's been digging up a lot of their classic franchises recently, and it seems they've been doing a good job of it.

[5:18:52 AM] Khya Shaver: I can fix it easily but
[5:19:01 AM] Khya Shaver: That resets my microwave clock to 0
[5:19:24 AM] Khya Shaver: And a few days ago- when it was STILL 0, mind you- the time was set correctly

  15. Hey guys, if I were to start a "Nate Sucks at Video Games" series, what game should I start with?  I was thinking some platformer or other, and maybe a metroidvania or something.  Any suggestions? I would want something somewhat difficult, but not like super hard.

  16. I've heard that Maldita Castilla is a good game. It's in the style of Ghosts 'n' Goblins, based on Spanish mythology, and it's free which is probably a plus for something like this. Not sure if you've played it (it seems like something you'd probably have heard of) but that'd be a recommendation off the top of my head.

  17. I've downloaded it and I'll keep it in mind, but I think something a bit more "mainstream" might be a better starting point. I was thinking either a GBA or SNES game maybe? Though I guess NES, GB, GBC, even PS1 could work too. And if there's a free, somewhat "mainstream" game for computer (Maybe even a browser game... Though I haven't tried to actually capture one before.) maybe that too.

  18. Oh, Cave Story! The original version is still freeware and it's a great medium-difficulty metroidvania. (It's also my favorite indie game ever)

  19. ...You know, I never actually realized before that Cave Story was freeware. I think that'll be a great game to start up with.
