Match A: crazE vs. gistofeverything

Mai, now beaten and bloody from the immense battle, stood in the midst of the girl who had caused so much trouble. Entrapped in Mai's web of flames, Mai glared at the helpless girl in front of her.

"You..." Mai whispered, her eyes affixed to the scared eyes of her prey.

"You have cause so much trouble, so much grief. You have dishonored me and have given me a very difficult battle. You've killed my friend and left me hanging by a thread."

Mai gave a soft chuckle, wiping a bit of blood from her lip. Gazing at the ground, her eyes became weary. Albeit, she was smiling. "But now... Now I've had it with you."

Mai stood straight, eyes hardening into cold stones. She shot flames with her gaze as an essence rapidly encased her. The fog about her was purged from the area immediately as an immense amount of energy began collecting around Mai. a pillar of flame erupted from the ground, bursting into the air and striking the ceiling with a massive boom. The roof suddenly cracked from the force and soon crumbled as the power ripped the ceiling into pieces, sending the stone boulders in all directions and leaving the cold moonlight to shine down.

Mai closed her eyes. "You deserve this."

Suddenly, the pillar of flame converged on her and then expanded, conforming into what could only be described as a dragon of pure flame. Rising into the air, it flared its wings as its blazing jaws opened and roared powerfully. The azure flames that consisted of its body melted the very air around it. It beat its wings once, the flames around Thage departing and swirling into a wide sphere about her.

The dragon then condensed inwardly, imploding and converging around the form of Mai. What was left was a glowing figure of azure fire with two glowing blades in its hands.

Suddenly, the form disappeared from view as quickly as it had come into being. The walls of the arena lit up instantly as a massive burst of energy ripped through one side of Thage's body. The second wave hit from the other side and a third came through the center. The glowing figure appeared in front of the terrified girl, staring with nothing but glowing orbs of hatred.

Once the glowing Mai rocketed into the air, the sheer force ripped the girl in all places that had been severed, leaving three pieces of the once-recognizeable Arcane Mistress. At the peak of her ascent, Mai spun slowly, pulling up the energy from the encircling flame around the severed Thage and gaining much more power for her final piece.

Slowing to a stop, Mai put her blades together and let her energy converge over her blades. The result was a literal blade of condensed flame and energy, aglow with an intense cyan-azure that outclassed the moon's soft pale rays. Looking down at the girl's deadening eyes, Mai raised her blazing blade.

"You're done!" Mai screamed, swinging her blades downward.

The air split with a boom as the energy released rocketed and struck the ground, streaking over the terrain like a beaming blade of light. The walls that had contained the deathmatch blew apart from the force as the blade sliced through the very earth and stone, obliterating everything in its directional pathway. Once the blade had stopped its powerful slice, the earth underneath the large laceration exploded, a bright blue sphere of energy obliterating stone and any remnants of a battle.

Amid the starry night, a thick cloud of smoke quickly dissipated from a large crater. In the center, a large girl stood amidst the wreckage. Panting slowly, Mai felt her power quickly ebbing. She was exhausted. She was done. She couldn't handle it anymore.

But there was nothing left of her opposition. She had done it.
