Hey there, Timber! Like Nate (The Kakuzato), I believe I know you by reputation of your art which has been occasionally posted here and there in our IRC by Kuda. It's a pleasure to be able to put the... erm, art to the virtual face, I suppose! I'm Eebit, one of the administrators around here. If ever you have any issues or troubles, then anyone is pretty much able to tell you what you need, but us red-named chaps are usually around to take questions, or just generally engage in conversation.

I'm actually really stoked that you've chosen to let us be the first forum that you RP with; hopefully we can make the experience memorable for you! We do a lot of freeform RPs, of course, but there is also the statistical blend that you can give a shot. If you're interested, I'm sure that we can teach you the basics.
At ZEJ, primarily things start out in the Interest Checks section, which you can browse through to see if anything tickles your fancy. After interest has been gauged, people move into the Out of Character phase, whereupon they get people primed and ready to hop into the RP. In the hyperlinked section, you can find some that are still waiting for people to join, so don't think that just because an RP has started that you can't join in! Finally, we end up in either the Freeform or Statistical Roleplays section (naturally depending on which medium it falls under), where the actual RPing pans out~
We hope you enjoyed our brief tour of the RPing section. Don't forget to check out the budding and ambitious Galamion section, which is our developing 'open world,' if you're looking for a medieval fantasy section which is mostly a blank canvas just eagerly awaiting people to paint their characters and leave their marks upon it!
