Name: Xye (AKA The Shadow)
Appearance: Xye has long black hair, and wears black jeans with a black shirt. Her eyes are pitch black, but her skin is pale, almost to the point of being truly white, similar to a ghost. She is athletic, and of average height.
Age: 19
Background: When she was four, Xye's family was killed by Zealous. She survived, but was captured by Zealous in order to be trained as a villain. She grew up quickly, and became a well known member of Zealous. But, in her heart, she knew one day she would betray them, for they killed her family. She is still planning her escape from Zealous, but hopes to join ZEJ when she does.
Abilities: Umbrakinesis (Control of shadows); Necromancy (Command over the dead)
Equipment: She carries an ebony short staff, and has twin sais on her hips.

I suppose you're right. Besides, I would get to play sooner. Just allow me to think of a phenomenon I think would suit the situation well. Also, I've got a villain idea, so I'll work on him too.

Name: Terry Oliver
Appearance: Terry is tall and thinly built, with a head that seems to be a bit large for his body. He has medium-length blonde hair that is usually spiked. He always wears a T-shirt with the image of a black hole and jeans, accompanied by a Letterman jacket if it ever gets too cold. He has green eyes and skin that is only slightly tanned. There is almost no doubt that there will be countless bruises, scrapes, and scratches on his skin.
Background: Until he discovered his powers, Terry was your average, rebellious kid, going to school, being lazy at home, and accepting no kind of authority. After the discovery of his powers at the age of 11, this rebellious nature was multiplied, as he could pull numerous more pranks and practical jokes on teachers, friends, and even his parents. Now, at the age of 16, his pranks are reaching an all-time high, even after being expelled from four schools in the past four years. His parents finally decide to call up a group that they believe will help their son...
Abilities: Terry can manipulate the density of any inorganic object or material, making it heavier or lighter at his very whim. He has little knowledge of how to actually use it, however, and just thinks of it as "lighter or heavier" without thinking of the implications.
Equipment: small marbles in a pouch, pocket, or other container on his body.

I kinda want his joining of ZEJ to be in the RP itself. ~

Hank Sharp​

Appearance
31 years old. Hank wear's his toy store uniform; white, baggy pants with a red-and-white striped polo shirt and hat. He has white hair, blue eyes, stands at 5'10" and weighs about 180. A slinky is always visible on his person, usually on his shoulder.

Background
Born and raised in Benign, Hank grew up knowing full well the dangers of the life the city suffered from. As he grew older, 21 to be exact, he decided to try making a modest toy store called "Slink's Toys". His shop survived three days before being ransacked and later becoming bankrupt due to the loss. After a few more years of barely scraping a living, he finally fell to complete penniless status, with nothing to his name but the slinky he got when he was 5 years old. It was at this time that he decided enough was enough. Then the slinky moved...

A few years later, he was able to re-open his toy store, which he uses his new-found powers to guard. His store has become a kind of "checkpoint" for the innocent. A Safe place.

Abilities
Animation
Projecting his will into inanimate objects, he can grant them a mind of their own, a mind that is linked to his own. A hive-mind, with him as the "queen." However, he is limited to objects of small mass, with his best being a traffic light. His animation is limited to an amount of objects determined by there size, for example he could animate hundreds of plastic army men, but only maybe a dozen bowling balls. He can cancel these animations at any time.

Animating Animation
With smaller objects, like a slinky, he can manipulate them completely once he has granted them animation.

Equipment
He carries a sack not dis-similar to Santa's, which he often animates as to not need to carry it.

Other
His first animation, a slinky from his 5th birthday, which he usually just calls "Slink", has reached a point where its mind is completely its own, and lives with Hank as his most valued partner. It's animation could not be canceled even if he wanted to.

Appearance
Richie is an 18-year-old boy that appears normal in every way. He has red hair, green eyes and a somewhat pointed nose. He wears white khaki pants and t-shirts of various kinds. While at work he wears his red-and-white polo shir.

Background
Raised in an orphanage, Richie has known sadness his whole life in Benign. However, he always had a positive outlook on everything. It's probably what kept him alive. When he turned 16, he began applying for work, and was hired by Hank at "Slink's Toys." He continues to work there now.

Name: Mike "Awesomeman" Dillon
Appearance:Mike is tall and incredibly muscular, with tanned skin and sleek, black hair situated forward with a lot of hairspray. Normally, unlike the rest of ZEJ, he wears silver tights for his superhero duty, which have a large red A on his chest. If not on duty, he usually wears a suit and tie if in public. He typcially speaks with much gusto, his voice deep and extremely manly.
Background: Mike, a chronic sufferer of what is known as "Superhero Syndrome," that is he is vastly overconfident and thinks that he can help anyone who is in need, almost always knew about his powers. He would often show these off in school, making sure to never hurt anyone. This often included, but was not limited to, carrying teachers' desks across the room within seconds, completely rearranging the principal's office, and even moving entire playgrounds into the shade. As he became an adult, he would help anyone on the street he thought needed it. Not everyone appreciated his help, but Mike never noticed that.
Abilities: Immense superhuman stength and flight.
Equipment: None.
Other: I purposely made this extremely typical. This is supposed to be a joke character more than anything else.

I'm definitely interested in a reboot; like I mentioned while talking to Brawly about reviving his Heroes of Earth RP, I've been watching a bunch of superhero movies, so I'd definitely be down to channel that a little bit into some RPing action~

 

Well, ive read the thread a bit and sounds a bit like fun, after all it is the ZEJ

 

I"m also still interested. I have a question though. By funnier, do you mean like most Marvel movies, where there's a lot of humor, but it's still a serious story, or like the Super Hero Squad Show, where it's mainly a comedy, but there's still action and some story. I'm fine with either one, and hopefully I'll actually post my character this time.

Bumping this on the grounds that we have now got the What Superpower Do You Have? thread kicking around. Would anyone be interested in reviving this RP and actually getting it off the ground now that a fair few of us have ideas for powers, and have equally expressed interest in making that concept of Randomly-Generated powers into an RP?

Also, would we change the plot to allow people to become villains? Discuss away, perhaps we can make this into an incredibly cool RP.

 

This will be the most random, epic, cool-looking RP of all time...so yeah I'm down.
