ZEJ: Worlds in Chaos Sign-Up Thread

Discussion in 'Out of Character Discussion' started by Wonder Smash, Aug 20, 2012.

  1. These are the sign-ups for ZEJ: Worlds in Chaos. I'm still working on the sign-up sheet for ZEJ characters, but for now, I have the sign-up sheet for the Reapers. In this roleplay, your Reaper represents you as a member of ZEJ, and although you're free to give them whatever traits you wish, I recommend mixing your own personal traits with your creativity.

    Character Sign-Up Sheet

Name: (I don’t think this needs to be explained)

Roleplay of Origin: (If your character has been in multiple roleplays, mention them as well)

Alignment: (Good, neutral, or evil. Be more specific if you want)

Age: (If you want your character to be slightly older than he/she was before, you can do that)

Personality: (Try to be as true to your original character as possible)

Appearance: (Like their age, your character’s appearance might have changed as well)

Abilities: (Your character’s abilities probably haven’t changed, though)

Other: (Anything that you feel is important but doesn’t fit into any of the above categories)

    Reaper Sign-Up Sheet

Name: (I don’t think this needs to be explained)

Personality: (Since your Reaper is a sort of representative of you as a ZEJ member, I would recommend using your own personality as a template)

Appearance: (This doesn’t need much explaining either)

Element: (For your element, you can basically use just about anything. Fire, water, nature, lightning, wind, earth, technology, necromancy, etc. In my opinion, you should use whatever element is your personal favorite)

Powers: (Like your element, you can use just about anything, but be sure that it fits your element. No controlling fire if your element is water, and vice versa)

Weapon: (Again, use anything you like, but try to make it fit your element and powers. You can be unarmed if you wish)

Other: (Anything that you feel is important but doesn’t fit into any of the above categories.)

    Any now for my characters...

    Name: Occillo “The Brawlinator”

Personality: The Brawlinator has a somewhat “happy-go-lucky” personality. He can make a joke about almost any situation, even some bad ones. However, he can also be serious when necessary. He’s somewhat of a loner, but enjoys being with his friends. He’s also a bit eccentric, and has some odd habits such as swinging his sword around for no apparent reason when he isn’t otherwise occupied.

Appearance: The Brawlinator usually wears the traditional robe of a Reaper, except gray instead of black. It still has most of the features of a robe, such as a hood and its length, which covers most of his body. He has short brown hair, blue eyes, and light skin, and is also mildly tall.

    Element: Technology

Powers: The Brawlinator’s power is basically increased intelligence when it comes to technology. He can design and build almost anything if given the proper amount of time and resources. He even modifies and upgrades his own weapon, and sometimes those of his friends as well. However, he has no “physical” powers, which often leads to others asking if he actually has any at all.

    Weapon: Fencing Sword

Other: The Brawlinator prefers to be called by his nickname and not his real name, Occillo. His sword is able to retract into its hilt, allowing for easy portability

I'll continue to edit this post as I make more characters and edit other things.

  2. Name: Brittany "Rose"

Personality: A major attention whore, fun loving girl who loves her fandoms and her glitter. She can be described as a strange person and has been described on occasion as a terrorist due to her political views (Fuck da police), but she knows how to make people smile and laugh. She is very affectionate and loves to give hugs, and she's very intelligent at history and English (And fluent in Spanish, a major accomplishment for someone her age). Another description may say she has an attitude and when sassed or teased she will give it right back and a little more. She enjoys being kind of a leader, and not really in the good way. Her ways mainly tell them to "shut up and follow my lead" and intends to become queen of something one day.

    Appearance:

    Element: Light

Powers: She can mess around with light and blind people, and can also make glitter that is sharp as hell and throw it at you to give you a bunch of cuts.

    Weapon: Bow and arrow.

Other: You should treat her like a queen, or she'll put an arrow through your eye.

  3. Okay so before I apply I have a question for you Brawlinator. As you know back during the original Ultimate Tournament I had a character named Tempest who could control the wind. Now if I was to choose my Reaper's element as Fire would Tempest be able to control both Wind AND Fire or would the Fire replace the Wind?

  4. Name: Zar'Roc

Personality: Zar'Roc is an oddity. He enjoys annoying people, and acting like a complete and utter idiot, and yet he is actually an intelligent, somewhat decent-ish person, when not immersed in a book or video game. He occasionally speaks short phrases of the Alagëisian ancient language, as well as being fluent in french.

Appearance: With short brown hair and brown eyes, a medium build and moderate height, he is very normal looking. His Reaper "robes" aren't so much that, as much as an Organization 13 cloak. Has glasses.

    Element: Temperature

Power: Can create temperatures low enough to freeze near anything, or high enough to extinguish near anything else in anything he touches. He can also transfer the temperature to an object, and use it as an extended reach. (Such as his trident)

Weapon: Trident-Zar'roc wields a trident. It has retractable side spikes, a launchable spearhead, and a collapsable shaft, allowing for versatility. he wields it as if he were born to.

    Other: His name means misery.

  5. At first, I think Tempest will only use his powers, but after his powers are drained, he'll use your Reaper's powers instead of his own. It's the same case for other characters and their Reapers too. Good work so far on your sign-ups guys, although I would prefer a little less language, Rose. :p

  6. Ahh okay I gotcha Brawlinator. I can work with that. Would be interesting seeing a character such as Tempest being primarily a wind specialist and then all of a sudden losing that power and having it replaced with something else. That could be very fun indeed.

Should have my app up tomorrow. Need to have something done for it first so I'm waiting on that.

  7. Name: Epsilon "Espy" Varatio (vah-rah'-tee-oh)

Personality: Completely determinate on mood swings. Espy is hardly bipolar - more like decipolar or icosapolar (icosa = 20). Extreme (undiagnosed) case of ADHD and constant restlessness; expect to see a different personality every five minutes. However, more frequently showing personalities include seriousness and joviality; Espy can also manage to pull out the right personality at the right time if really needed. In short; kind of flighty and bit of a drama llama, but can put a straight face on when situation calls for it.

Appearance: Thick black hair and somewhat long, taupe-coloured eyes, 5'8", round face, inappropriately stern-looking eyebrows, slightly chubby but quite strong, neither fair nor dark. Usually deviates from Reaper "dress code" by wearing blue T-shirt with some indecipherable scrawl on it, and black jeans.

    Element: Life

Powers: Telepathy, creating 'empathy links' (telepathic contact between two people telepathically over long distances without a medium), extending or decreasing vitality (of living/animate beings) and durability (of dead/inanimate beings), healing, minor control over plant life and great vitality for himself compose the repertory of his powers. In dire times he can also 'transpose' damage - deal as much damage as he has lost health - onto a foe. Strange and mystical they are, and a tad bit broken as they seem, but they are not; they depend on his own life force.

Weapon: "Unarmed", he attacks with his mind - basically creating telepathic links between himself and a foe and overloading the foe's brain with 'deadweight' thoughts.

Other: Generally is called by his nickname.

  8. Name: Jonathan "Jonno" Jones

Personality: One might describe Jonno as fun-loving, quirky, and spontaneous just as they would say he is well-grounded, intelligent, and calculating. All of the above would be correct and, thus, he can be taken as an "all-around"-type of guy. He's enthusiastic about many forms of multimedia, including retro and roleplaying games, and any sort of movie or book that has a deep, rich, involving story. Particularly, he enjoys fantastical stories with dark twists, but happy endings. His taste in music is very broad, and he'll most certainly argue one genre's particular worth if someone should bash it, and he's huge on politics for his age. At the end of the day, what Jonno is, purely and simply, is a nerd... with great leadership skills. He's been told that ever since he was a young boy, and he's proud to say that, by golly, he most certainly has proved that idea to be true with group projects during his school years. He also is a great listener, and is eager to help his friends in their time of need.

Appearance: Of course, he's usually cloaked in his standard Reaper gear, but, nonetheless, under that cloak of his, he very much looks like the man on the right in this picture, with this shirt on, and those shorts you saw in the previous picture, and these glasses.

    Element: Illusion

Powers: Jonno has the unique element of illusion, providing him with the ability to summon dopplegangers of himself or certain objects. He can then project these holograms, or shrouds, with his mind, to do just about anything for him, though mileage may vary on how effective each doppleganger may actually be. Some might do the job well, but most always disintegrate upon touch, or by pushing themselves to extraneously. He can also shroud himself or most other objects in a projected "cloak" of invisibility.

Weapon: Crossbow - Jonno enjoys his sharp-shooting from a distance. It makes him feel good. On top of this, it's only practical that he might own a weapon which he can use defensively, too, should an opponent come to close to him during battle. The automatic force of the crossbow is a perfect fit. He also carries a small pack of matches along with him, just in case he needs a lighted bolt to send a signal, for instance. Various bolt builds are sent out at various speeds, of which Jonno excels in knowing the latest on each of them, and keeps them on constant stock.

Other: If he likes you, maybe he'll come up with a creative, if not insanely ridiculously random, nickname for you, yet. He also is quick to express his love of walruses, gnomes, seagulls, pelicans, and various other mystical creatures. You may find that his humor is random and spontaneoushotdogs, orsometimesreallydrawnoutbeforeitreachesitspoint.

    A couple of notes:
-Brawly, I doubt that Rose will tell us to "fuck da police" in the actual story since there's nowhere it may contextually fit- she was just being a little feisty with her humor, which she tends to be sometimes, which is adorable, like Eebit's hair. But no worries! Be calm, my good man.

-Speaking of fitting in context, I'm not meaning to sound harsh, but isn't Zar'roc's character little more than an Inheritance Cycle character mixed with a bit of Kingdom Hearts? I love both of those series myself, but I also would strive for originality as far as a Reaper goes, because these are supposed to encapsulate who we are, and not necessarily the fandoms which we appreciate, or at least that's what I've drawn from Brawly's original post. Also, the "Magic" Element might be a bit too broad, since the majority of the elements actually listed are magic (the manipulation of water, fire, light... necromancy, etc.), and maybe using just "magic" as its name might be a little too "cheap", considering everyone else would probably just abide by the sign-up and input one particular type of magic or one particular type of skill which they would like to have. So, the vagueness of answering with just "magic" and giving them all of a Shur' tugal's powers kinda concerns me... Nice taste in book series, though. Love Eragon.

  9. Good work on both of your sign-ups too guys! :D I was pretty sure that Rose probably wouldn't say that in-game. I was mainly just making sure she and everyone else knew to try and keep cursing to a minimum. As for Zar'roc's Reaper, I just assumed that by "magic" he meant general sorcery such as magic bolts and force fields, and not elemental magic such as fire, ice, lightning, etc. I also think that he was referencing that some parts of his outfit looked like those items in question, and not necessarily wearing those specific items, although I'm not quite sure what Inheritance Cycle is, or if the term "Shur' tugal" came from it if it did, to be honest. I suppose the term "magic" is too broad though, so could you please change your element to basic (As in general un-elemental magic) sorcery, or something similar, Zar'roc? I don't think you need to change anything else, other than possibly the term "Shur' tugal".

  10. Ah-ha! I get you, and I totally get what he meant by his magic element now. Sorry for the confusion, and once again I meant no offense to anybody, and I'm looking forward to play with all of you over this excellent RP idea. :p You've done well here, Brawly! Can't wait to get this show on the road.

  11. Name: Lister "Zantok"

Personality: Whenever he's in a new social situation, Zantok is always quiet. Quiet and watching. He doesn't seek out others and speak to them. No, he waits for them to approach him. Eventually as he gets used to the people and the social situation Zantok opens up, he talks more and he feels more free to joke around. Even still he's always been a bit socially awkward but if anyone were to ever make a threat against one of his friends, he'll make them wish they'd never been born. Oh, and don't call him Lister. Tis a name he once went by but cast off after assuming the name Zantok.

Appearance: Okay so most of the time when Zantok is seen you don't really see much of him. He wears a large black cloak that covers his body. He is a Reaper and this is there standard attire. However, if he were to ever need to go into combat or if he's alone and just feels like being casual without the cloak, he transforms his cloak into a black jacket and his true form is revealed:
[IMG] instead of a yellow shirt however he wears a plain red one and the jeans are actually black slacks.

    Element: Sound

Powers: Zantok has power over Sound and can manipulate it to cause glass-shattering shrieks, quiet a room, or even send a high-frequency signal to a transceiver half-way across the world. One of the biggest components of his powers is that he is able to manipulate the soundwaves that his voice makes in order to actually change the physical appearance of his weapon into that of different weapons. Swords, Bo Staves, Flails, Axes, Nunchuks, anything you can imagine. As far as damage output is concerned Zantok's most powerful attack is his ability to swing his weapon at a speed faster than the speed of sound creating a sonic boom that launches from his weapon and knocks the enemy right off their feet. For reference of how these Sonic Booms look please refer to the character ProtoMan.EXE from the MegaMan Battle Network games and the MegaMan NT Warrior anime.

Weapon: Cane. Zantok's weapon typically appears to be an ordinary walking cane which causes those who do not though the weapon's true nature to think nothing of it. As stated above Zantok is able to use his manipulation of soundwaves to alter his cane into that of a variety of different weapons.

Other: Zantok has been described in the past as being a complete badass.

Alright! There it is! If anything needs to be changed you know how to tell me.

  12. Name: "Spaughtyena" (Or just "Spaught" because Yeah...)

Personality: Spaughyena is often the first person you'll notice when you enter the room, not because of his good looks or even a kindly demeanor, but because he's usually waiting behind the doorway to scream in your face the moment you enter. For this reason many people question one of two things: "Why am I friends with you again?" and-or: "If I'm still your friend does that make me insane?" Spaught enjoys speaking loudly, as well as over-use of his hands for emphasis. He has never EVER been mature. (Not even at his grandfathers funeral.) He also enjoys answering behavior or action related questions with: "Because, yeah..."

Appearance: Spaughtyena -- if you hadn't already guessed -- is an anthropomorphic Hyena, his main fur coloring being light-borwn, with blue covering his muzzle and being the sole color for his wondrous spots. He wears a stylish Purple T-shirt and light blue jeans. He keeps a long mohawk-like mane (which is also blue.) which leads to the middle of his shoulders. And before he forgets he will mention that he has bright blue eyes.

    Element: Persuation

Powers: Frenzy, Fear, sadness, joy etc. With a few honeyed words and perhaps a scream or two, can allow people the neccisary change-of-heart, or agry cutthroat attitude in a pinch! Useful for making a roomful of boring pencil pushers act a little more lively.

    Weapon: Airhorn.

Other: Spaughtyena can't really stand being alone, or unnoticed. It makes him go um... crazy?

  13. Hopefully Im not too late for signing up for this.

    Name: Cid Ironheart

Personality: Others think of Cid to be a stupid guy who can get a laugh out of people every now and then, but Cid thinks of himself as a nice, humorous, and nearly oblivious person. In a way, he is quite smart, although mainly in book smarts. In other ways... not so much. Cid still continues on in life with a happy outlook, and a humorous attitude.

Appearance: Cid does not use the standard reaper gear, but prefers to wear a costume which looks much like that of a judge master. (Refer to avatar). Under that armour however he weighs about 180 pounds, not exactly fat, but not skinny either. He has black hair which is usually unbrushed/combed. Also wears a T-Shirt under his armour, and prefers to wear track pants. Can often be seen with his pet, a genetically engineered Chicken, which kept yellow feathers from the time of birth, and also grew large enough to ride on.

    Element: Law

Powers: Since his power is that over law, Cid could cause madness to spread throughout an area. He could do whatever he wants, even if it breaks the law as he could instantly change the law to do what he wants. If there is a restricted area by "law" of somewhere, he can simply manipulate that law and go right on in without any consequences. He usually, despite his powers though decides to abide by the law. Other then that, he can also control other "laws" to a certain extent. By a certain extent, he may be able to control the laws of gravity by a bit, and make it so that he weighs very little compared to others, able to jump quite high, or he could control some simple laws of physics. All in all though, he can control laws to a certain extent. An example by how he is limited by this is that he can not do stuff like change the path of a bullet, or change someone's thoughts. His power works in mysterious ways, being able to manipulate laws little bit by bit, as long as it is not out of the limits of reason. Another way he is limited by this is that manipulating and changing laws affects his over all energy and health. In order to do something massive such as reversing the effects of gravity, or changing the flow of time, he would end up destroying himself in the process.

(This power is really hard to explain without it sounding over powered, so I should just put it like this. If he manipulates a law, it drains his energy. If he manipulates it a little, then he is essentially draining his energy, which like any person would have to rest, or eat, etc to regain it. If he manipulates it alot though, he could end up simply killing himself from exhaustion. It is a VERY useful power, but only if used properly...)

Weapon: A steel rod with a large crystal at the top. Not exactly fit for combat, although can be used if necessary.

    Other: None

  14. Good work guys! Although I don't think you should have a Chocobo, Cid, because it's a Final Fantasy creature. However, I won't complain if your Reaper's pet is something that's mildly similar to a Chocobo. Your element does seem like it has the potential to be overpowered, but as long as, like you said, he can't use his powers too much without becoming exhausted and/or killing himself, it should be okay. BTW, expect the ZEJ character sign-ups to be done soon, guys! :D

  15. Name: Xiax

    Roleplay of Origin: The Elementals

    Alignment: Neutral

    Age: 13

Personality: A loner, Xiax prefers a natural environment over one more technologically advanced, away from crowds and people, mostly from his growing up alone in the woods. Not one to have a temper, he is rather calm, though in a more cool and collected way, he is not one to quickly become a friend, he can be a loyal one if you have the patience.

Appearance: Xiax is a black haired boy who looks older and more rugged then he should from living in the wild. He has a jagged scar from his left eyebrow to beside his mouth from when another Elemental attacked him. He wears a copper chain around his neck as the only reminder of his old life.

    Abilities: Manipulation of elctricity

    Other: N/A

  16. Alright, I will change it to a creature Resembling a chocobo.

  17. Reaper
    Name: Twilix

Personality: Often Hyperactive. When not hyperactive he's obviously much more calm. Either way he doesn't hesitate to let out a laugh, or a lot of laughs if he finds something somewhat funny.

Appearance: Caucasian skin, green eyes, brown hair, short facial hair. He's always seen wearing a camouflaged green robe, and prefers to keep his hood up unless it happens to fall down and he just can't be bothered with it at the time.

    Element: Nature

Powers: Twilix has the power to manipulate plant growth and allow plants to (appear to) move on their own. He can also control the minds of small wildlife, including weaker predators, for brief periods of time.

    Weapon: Spear

Other: Known for becoming talkative during an "insanity fit" as he calls it (becoming increasingly hyperactive until he calms down).

  18. Character

    Name: Ryo

Roleplay of Origin: Ultimate Tournament (Mercurious)

Alignment: During his own specific story line he begins as evil, but only because of mind control, simply put. For the purposes of the Ultimate Tournaments, he counts as good.

Age: 18 Years (Apparent), 1 Year 2 Months (Actual)

    Personality: Serious

Appearance: Basically your average cat/human hybrid. Except he's blue, and has humanlike feet with claws, to clear things up for those who care about what his feet look like. He is almost always wearing his light, dull gray armor suit which covers his entire body except for most of his face and his tail, along with a visor to cover his eyes.

    Abilities:
[*]Automatic Energy Bolt Rifle, fires baseball sized energy bolts for as long as the trigger is held, but rate of fire decreases slightly the longer the trigger is held.
[*]Energy-based shortsword - For all intents and purposes, a weaker light saber.
[*]Ryo's armor has a personal energy shield that reduces physical and projectile damage, as well as slightly reducing damage done by basic magical attacks, namely fire, ice, and electricity.
[*]Ryo has superior physical strength than most humans would, and increased speed, jump height, and reflexes that would allow him to cover ground easily.
[*]Ryo's Visor has a setting that allows him to automatically lock on to a target for easy aiming, although this only works if the enemy is less than fifty meters away and not moving in fast and random patterns.
[*]On top of the visor's vision enhancing abilities to allow slightly more sight through things like a smoke screen, Ryo possesses the natural ability to see in the dark, and has been genetically modified to be able to adjust almost instantly.
[*]Finally, if all else fails him, Ryo can resort to his genetically enhanced strength, agility, and his claws to fight, although he will only resort to this if he has nothing else he can resort to using at the time.
    [/list]

  19. Will be editing this post when I can, but just reserving a spot in dis if that's alright with you! ^^'

  20. Ohohoho! Character sign-up forms are up now- nice! Now, this won't be who you're probably all expecting for my opening character. He's no Austere or Baboy Man, but that is most definitely the point. And trust me- he'll be awesome in this.

    Name: Blaise Lefebvre (Leh-faev)

Roleplay of Origin: Ultimate Tournament 3

    Alignment: Good

    Age: 27

Personality: Blaise has always acted almost exactly what one might expect the typical underground indie rocker to be like, minus all of the cries for attention, attempts at suicide for thinking that they sound like another band, not eating for weeks, and succumbing to drugs and alcohol to fight unwarranted depression. So, essentially, I suppose, he's not much like that stereotypical image at all. Nonetheless, he is a laid-back dude with a laid-back attitude, or as Steven Tyler once told my good man Paul, "a cool dude in a loose mood", meaning that he's a relaxed fellow who's oh-so-mellow.

He's your everyday guy, essentially, minus the poor attempts at hitting on women, since he's already had his poor attempts at hitting on the one girl of his eye, Hally, who is also the bassist of his band, and that worked out fairly well for him. He has a calm, breezy attitude and isn't afraid to toss out loose words like "dude" or "yo"; one of his favorite catchphrases, in fact, comes from Full House: "What's up with that?"

He is extremely proud of his band, his girlfriend, and his family and would do anything to protect them, and despite his otherwise relaxed way of carrying himself, he's highly-calculating when it comes to tense situations, and will always see something through in his head before acting it out on his own in order to make sure that it's the best possible move to make. (Think Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Sherlock Holmes.) He's also fairly into learning more about the world we live in, and reads a random Wiki article every morning over breakfast before starting the day, that way he could always go to bed at the end of the day knowing that he had learned something new, even if it was about something as trite as the creation of a Koopa-shaped toast. Last but not least, his laid-back attitude ekes into his sense of humor, resulting in some fairly sarcastic comments every now and then.

Appearance: With the turn of an era, the Ice Pops' sound had changed drastically from a slightly typical pop-rock-based movement into something arguably more dark and complex, not only lyrically, but instrumentally, melodically, as a whole. With this elegant sound transition, and now with a girlfriend who appreciated a well-dressed man, the way Blaise carried himself since the thrid Ultimate Tournament had also changed quite a bit. Instead of a long-sleeved light grey and white shirt with an orange military star design at its center, Blaise now wears a short-sleeved, white shirt featuring a platinum star of the same ilk. Instead of some tattered jeans, he wears "professionally casual" black slacks. Over his tee is a black, button-up long-coat purchased from a fine clothing store which he is very proud of. Instead of cheap sneakers, Blaise now wears a pair of fine black 50's dress shoes, which more accommodate the classier style which he has now picked up. He's also shaved his goatee and cut down his light blonde locks, going for a cleaner look featuring a small bit of five-'o-clock shadow and a hairstyle very much in line with this man's, whose picture he had given to his stylist when she had asked of him what sort of hair he'd like to go with the rest of his new look. As always, he stands at precisely six feet, has a slender, slightly muscular medium build, has pure blue eyes practically in vein of ol' blue-eyes himself, Mr. Frank Sinatra (whom ironically, he grew up to listening with his family).

Abilities: As far as fighting goes, Blaise's major pull comes from his acoustic guitar: a simple, sunburst Epiphone EL-00 with some sort of odd magical ability that grants it extreme durability among some other things. As exhibited in the history lesson presented but a moment ago, the Epiphone has the ability to be thrown at opponents like a boomerang and return to Blaise in but a moment's time or less, but it can also be used in a variety of other ways. In simple terms, Blaise can use his guitar offensively, throwing it and slashing it around as if it were a sword at his opponents, or he can use it defensively, as a highly-resistant shield. The "power of music" can also be used effectively, as Blaise can strum on his guitar and use visible sound-waves to occasionally stun and/or move his opponents aback.

Other than his guitar, Blaise can only rely on his hands and feet to run, jump, punch, and kick his way through. His guitar cannot be destroyed, though it can be thrown too far away from his magical grip for him to call to his hand, in which case he'd need to get close enough to summon it towards him (maybe about ten yards). Even then, the guitar can be grabbed in mid-air, should an opponent be feeling dicey enough to try such a thing, though it will be rendered essentially useless as far as fighting goes in anyone else but Blaise's hands.

    Other:
A year and a half after the Lefebvre family moved from France to the United States in 2008, Blaise, the oldest of three children, moved out of the house and into an apartment rented out by himself and two of his friends: Roger Thomas and Evan Moreau.

The three guys, all into the underground indie rock scene, decided that it would be a fun little experience to start their own band and see how they could do in the scene. Thus, Ice Pops was formed. With little to no expectations of actually making it in their "business," the three casually recorded tracks over the summer during their free-time and came up with a self-titled EP, fully mixed and released in 2010. During this time, sales suddenly started booming for the band; their rent, which they once had to put off paying, was now nothing in comparison to their paycheck! They were quickly becoming the local heroes, much to their surprise.

In the end, Blaise, the lead vocalist, Roger, the lead guitarist, and Evan, the drummer, hired on a bassist for their inevitable live shows, a good-looking young lady by the name of Hally Simon. Blaise and Hally became romantically involved with each other months before the tour and became quite close with each other.

On the way to making their way from New York to New Jersey, the Ice Pops' bus was hijacked by a group of small-time gang-bangers looking to make a name for themselves in the news. They threw the band equipment, as well as Roger, Blaise, and Evan, out of the van, keeping Hally for bait. Blaise, without even thinking, threw his guitar straight at the van. Much to his surprise, the guitar, as if it were an incredibly powerfully throwing axe, slashed the van's wheels and made it kereeeeeeen to a screeching halt, returning to its master's hand not a moment later. With Hally safe and all well, Blaise walked off from the wreckage, awe-struck. It was then that he knew that, for some odd and "maybe even stupid" reason, his guitar wasn't like the others. With it, he was practically a superhero.

From that moment of realization, Blaise was surprised to be chosen by the secret galactic organization of Reapers for the space-wide tournament of champions: the third iteration of the Ultimate Tournament. They had expressed their interest in not only his instrument, but in his purely iron-willed nature to get things done when they needed to be. After ultimately winning the tournament (no pun intended), Blaise was sent back home to a time only a second past the moment he was taken by the Reapers in the first place.

After the events of Ultimate Tournament 3, Blaise continued his dedication to his girlfriend, his band, and his time fighting criminals after work in the dead of the night and into the very early morning. The Ice Pops' success as a collective group was noted as they changed their sound to something a little less pop-friendly, but a lot more complex and intimate, creating a unique sound that many indie bands in the area had attempted to emulate to mixed reception. Eventually, they had agreed on a signing deal with one of the biggest HAC rock labels out there in the industry, and had commenced to proceeding with deals with their manager which would lead a world tour, raring to open for several extremely popular acts around the globe.

Around this time, he had also obtained the amount of money needed to purchase a particularly nice engagement ring for Hally, whom he could now never picture a life without. However, on his way to the fine jewelry store, he was taken once more by the Reapers, this time tasked with something a lot more serious... halting the chaos occurring in-between all worlds within the connected universes.
