ZEJ vs Capcom - Fight to the Finish

From the Ultimate Tournament Trilogy alone, there's quite a few characters to choose from (needless to say). I wouldn't say we need to oversaturate our side of the brawl with too many characters belonging to one RP, so depending on the amount of characters you'd like per side (like how there's 25 each on your Marvel vs. Capcom topic), I could offer a rough estimate as to how many I think we should have. Right now, I'm thinking around seven is our maximum, assuming that there are going to be 25 characters in this list as well. After remembering my top five favorite characters from the series and jotting them down here looking through the list and finding who would fit in best, making sure there's at least one rep per iteration of the game, I've come up with these seven characters as my personal rep choices:

Eric the Flame - There were two highly plausible choices as far as Flamezone's characters went, and those were Eric the Flame and Aexides Licari. In the end, Eric was chosen, if only because of his being more iconic to the series as a whole. Plus, he has a demon form, which is preakin' jawesome bro.

Giott - Zantok's flagship character who I'm sure he would've chosen as well. Karma is also a good idea imo, but Giott is just the man, man.

Austere Clements (+ Rock) - When Austere entered the Ultimate Tournament scene come near the end of UT1, then appearing in UT2 as a major character who rivaled Karma, was a friend of Chance Rivers, was curious of Kevina Boychuk, and reveled in the majestic Baboy Man, we had our first real sub-plot going, and it was great. Needless to say, he also had his friend Rock, the floating pimp boulder, by his side to liven things up a bit. Noice stuffizzle.

Kristoph Palmer - Arguably, he was Eebit's version of the man mentioned earlier, or at least in my (and his) opinion, he was. His long-range weaponry and water magic could be a game shifter.

Kenneth Hill - Like with Giott and Kristoph (and Eric and Austere), this is your version of "t3h mane", Brawly, in many people's opinions. Of course, you may choose whoever you like and all, but Kenneth is my personal favorite of your characters from UT.

Yoi Shourai - F yeah, Knightee. Yoi's a beast to be reckoned with.

Espira Xirro - She's now our ZEJ postergirl, so need I say more?

...Okay, so we need an eighth here, and that eighth is crazE, since he's obviously the flagship character of... crazE. Plus, he'd just be cool to fight with, all random and shiz

If you're vying for an eighth, I'd seriously say either Fuutaro Hayakaze or Hector Gambles. Jokingly, I'd say throw in Wego if you want a Dan-like character. Besides, Wego is also like, the man for Fuzzydude, your brotharooroo, maaaaaaaaaaannnn. So, we kind of dilated this whole thing didn't we? For the Ultimate Tournament, since it's so large, I'd say throw in everyone I mentioned, personally. Of course it's your game, so pick and choose who you like and who you don't like. :x

On top of this, Jude Lumsden, first of ARKNET fame, then of UT2 fame, should also be included for this since he's Furry's mannnnnn and all. Plus, he's an ice werewolf thing. Pretty cool, yeah?

Okay, so that brings us to 11.... Kiv 'O the Great also deserves a spot here, all-considering he's the face of ISAAC, which definitely has solidified a home here. 12. Twelve suggestions. Bang.

 

I would say that Solera might be a good pick, but she might be a bit OP'd for a fighting game, since she could pretty much pull off infinite combos. Other good OA reps might be Shares(for a ranged fighter), Nositch(who would be kinda mixed for close-combat and ranged), Ramiro(idk how he would work, really), or, for a joke, perhaps even Stu.

From other RPs, Alexandra from ToA might be a fun one, or perhaps Bin for a mixture of a serious character and joke character. Loresai would be fun to play as also.

Anyway, I'd bring up more, but it's early in the morning and I'm tired, so yeah.

 

I have nothing against who you've chosen to rep UT, Brawly; in fact, I like the choices very much! Baboy Man vs. Giott finally being finished in a match against one another in an actual fighting game would be boss. As for your reasoning with Kenneth, I can see where you're going with that and agree wholeheartedly; Captain Fighter was also one of your stronger characters, so I can safely say I advocate his being included as well. Kevina is also a nice addition. Let's just hope none of that "purple bra flashing" between she and Kristoph happens again, especially since both of them are in this iteration of ZEJ vs. Capcom. ;D

As for other characters, I can't really say since I haven't been involved in too many roleplays lately, but when I get onto actually doing stuff in Segregation, I think you'll be able to see my character, Tomari Spalding, a biologist, may serve as a good, unique choice. Espira, Jude, crazE, Kivvard Obertson (Kiv O' the Great), and/or Hector Gambles could all get in through one of the other RP's or stories we have here, yerp. I'd say to include one of Hector or Kiv, and include at least Espira and Jude on this, and probably crazE too (or Bryce Hanson if you will, though that's adding one more UT character) since it's his flagship character.

As for the Capcom side...

As for Kristoph, that's a tough one; I'm kinda inclined to say M. Bison or Mike Haggar, if only for size alone. Bison has more powers than Haggar, so maybe he'd be a better fit against the water-contorting gun-toting d00d.

Kevina? Chun-Li's probably the most realistic to fill that slot, but I'm going out on a limb to say Ran Hibiki from Rival Schools would be a good fit as well.

Giott? No clue. But I'll look into it.

 

I don't really know much about Capcom, admittedly, so I really have no idea who would be good rivals for Fuutaro/Yira/whichever characters would represent me.

For Fuutaro, I think that someone who is insanely fast and perhaps has a projectile attack would be good.

For Yira... well... I REALLY don't know =|

 

I'd agree with what you've said about Nathan Spencer. As for EEQ for the Stat Colosseum representation; I have nothing against that. All are fairly good for this project, and I'd say you're doing a darn good job with this so far. B) I'm also nearly inclined to say Arthur from Ghosts 'n Goblins for Giott, if only because they're different enough attack-wise and stats-wise but have a similar height and come from a similar setting.

 

Of all my characters, you chose Qiris? ._.

I'd say a better choice woulda been Fuutaro or Yira… When Nositch would have been better. It's just that as much as I like Qiris, I don't know how fit she would be for something like this.
