The Faces of Eebit: Revival

It’s time for a revival…


…Eebit approaches the precipice of his life. Somewhere in-between the cockles of time and space itself, the aging Canadian sweetheart resides. From the pit of his spaceship, he looms over the space-time continuum in hiraeth.

The times that Eebit once knew as a fresh-faced, aspiring bachelor, having constructed the Tower of Eebit and his precious Eebots by hand, have long since gone and could never quite return in the same way as they once had. In one dimension, in one rift of that aforementioned space and time, he had already concocted a Faces of Eebit tournament once before that, despite grand publicity, had not quite reached completion as he had hoped...

“But hope… is something that I still have,” he remarked, a sudden mask of confidence set over his once dreary expression.

 “Yes, it should have been obvious!”

Eebit rushed into his bedroom to retrieve his long, golden staff. Holding it with both hands between his legs as he returned to the window peering out over the world between worlds, he looked forward, a steady conviction in his eyes, and muttered an incantation.

As it were, a portal had opened, and the sensual, elderly individual had created a new lease for himself yet.

“The moment that I step through this cosmic valley, time will reset in such a way that a new reality will unfurl. I, and I alone, shall challenge the very fabric of the universes! I will return to a state of such ageless and timeless beauty, and the Faces of Eebit… shall return!”

HOW BADLY HAVE YOU EVER WANTED SOMETHING THAT YOU JUST COULDN’T HAVE, AND HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO TO FINALLY OBTAIN IT?...

I admire Buble's talent but also happen to think that he has the propensity to be a huge douche, so it has kinda evened off into the latter side of perception more than the former, unfortunately, even though I used to love a couple of his arrangements. If I were Canadian, I would be with Krista there. :5 However, we now know that Eebit has a soft spot for Arkells and sympathizes with Justin Bieber, as far as his musical fellow compatriots go! 

Anywho, bring your musical best to the table indeed. Really hoping for the best with what is sure to be a beautiful rendition of the Elton John classic and theme song of FoE from Krista -- as well as, actually, whatever song from the Buble catalog that Moon can muster. Heartfelt compassionate wins the race, regardless of the original artist. Prepare yourselves, as we get one step closer to the revival!

I'm much more of a Golden Age kinda guy myself when it comes to crooners. There's people who try and some who even come close and are pretty enjoyable, but c'mon, nothing's gonna beat Bennett, Martin, Davis, Sinatra... and those that know this know that Christmas Sinatra isn't the best Sinatra but Eebit doesn't. Hint: perhaps one could charm him with classic holiday jingles, yet! I also say this as a hypocrite, being a burgeoning young crooner myself who would fantasize about the day he has his time on stage. :5

Anyway, gotta love some Big Easy cookin'. B)
