It was a dark and stormy night...

  1. Too cliché? Probably.  But onwards; my name is Digital Muse. I come to your community in search of good stories and companions to write them with.  I’m a fairly experienced role-player, starting first in tabletop (or pencil and paper RP). Then I went on to MUSH-ing (ugh) and finally to boards like this one. Through it all I’ve met some fantastic people and we created some fun and amazing things. I hope I can do that here too.

    More personally, I am a costume-builder, jewelry maker, writer (obviously) and my day job or secret identity is as an Accountant at a bank. Good disguise, am I right? I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a Canadian hubby that we’re still going through the immigration ringer trying to get him down here into the US. It’s a process, let me tell you.

    Anyway! I’ll see you on the boards!

  6. Welcome to ZEJ, Muse! It's nice to see a steady trickle of members from RPH that are willing to 'cross-pollinate,' as it were, to our humble abode. I'm Eebit, as you can see from the name, and I am one of the administrators around this joint. One of the many, one might say, if one had not seen the size of our staff previous to the budget cuts.

    Okay okay, back on track.

    We're pretty lax on rules and guidelines, but if you're a rulemonger or someone who just likes to know the "what's what," you can check out our Rules and Guidelines post, and our Beginner's Guide to ZEJ. Both of those stand to be fairly good jumping-off points! I'd be super excited to see some of your costumes/jewelry, if you'd be interested in sharing that. The Creation Station section might tickle your fancy!

    As for roleplays, we are pretty heavy on the fantasy side of the spectrum, but of course I'm sure that people would be more than interested to get things bumpin' with some other genres! Poke around through the Interest Checks we have open if you've got a hankerin' for some sweet, sweet roleplaying.

    All that said, welcome once more to ZEJ! If you've got any questions, just like @Rose said, we (the staff) are more than happy to help! Just shoot us a PM if you need anything or just have an itch to scratch for some conversation~
