Happy 2014, ZEJ!

  1. It's been a long time, now 2013 is coming back home. It's making way for 2014 to begin its magical journey through the realm of present space and time, and as these past 365 days come to a close, a whole new set of lovely experiences are set to be had within the same day parameter! Or, in a surprisingly less strange way for me to word it as I am Jonno and offbeat is partially my thing around these parts, it's 2014 now (for most of us) as of this posting! Happy 2014! Happy New Year, everybody!

    It's been a crazy, upside-down, rightside-up, tumultuous, boring, never-quite-boring, not-so-brilliant, brilliant, fantastic, not-so-fantastic, exciting, pretty much amazing in its twist and turns and overall wondrous year for better or for worse, for rich or for poor, in sickness and in health, and with or without The Faces of Eebit. Without a doubt have we all as individual human beings overcome a bevy of obstacles thrown our way while preparing for the next set to come right on towards us. Without a doubt have these experiences, both good and bad, shaped us into a fuller people at the end of the day-- ones who are hopefully more eager to take on the next whole year ahead! I know I've gone through my fair share that I'll likely share for the most part with you all in a future Real Talk post, but at the end of it all, what I mainly want to do is wish you all all of the love and successes that you deserve in 2014! 

    I'm thankful to have gotten to know all of you a little better this year, and am totally glad to call some of you very good friends. Overall, ZEJ has had its stumbling points, but I'm glad that we are, for the most part, a sturdy and stable community. Not every forum can say that! Way back in the day, Zantok, Eebit, and I decided to kick-start this little set of boards that could, and boy am I sure glad that we did. To all of you once more, happy 2014, and may the odds forever be in your favor!

  2. Oh, so THERES ZEJ's new years thingy. Uhh, well....dunno what else to say but a mere opinion of 2013 and what I expect of 2014:

    2013: Pokemans and college shenanigans. Just...man, 2013 was so shifty I went from responsible student to game addict to responsible student again. Made cool memories and a lot were thanks to you ZEJbros. 2013 was by far the best year possible.

    2014: Expect Starrplots to make a comeback. I wont be focusing on my usual antics anymore ;) Also, i'm so pumped for this incoming summer because....2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BWUAHAHAHA. Oh and more Kill la Kill too! So yeah, happy new year! [you silly ZEJans...all in the future while I'm still in 2013 kek]

    Jokes aside, 2013 was a damn awesome year overall, both on the outside world and the internet. So called "college shenanigans" are more than ready to strangle me over here this year, but I can't exactly complain now, can I? Heh. Hopefully, I'll still be able to have time for ZEJ when that happens. All in all, Happy New Year, ZEJ~

  6. And so another arbitrarily-decided cycle comes to a close to make way for a new one. Now that it's 2014, I look back and feel old. I've known several of you since early 2009! Man.

  8. Honestly, ZEJ really helped me through this year. This year was my senior year, and my... Well, health issues, really made this year hard for me. Most notably my headaches getting worse than ever, with them rendering me physically unable to get out of bed several days throughout the year.

    These issues are part of the reason I haven't done anything for college yet. They're dragging me down even now, when I don't have school to worry about.

    But ZEJ helped me through it, even if not really giving me advice about it, I was able to enjoy myself here, and I hope it's able to continue. I don't really know what's in store for me this year, but one thing I really, REALLY want to do is to get some examination done, specifically some neurological examination, but hey, real life stuff isn't exactly the point of this thread.

    So I will say this. ZEJ 2014 looks extremely promising. I really can't wait for everything that's gonna happen here. Including the Heroes RP reboot, LS, Stattourney, hey, maybe even some QI activity, and hopefully even a TD revival...!
