What if in-character AMAs

Discussion in 'Suggestions' started by Keileon, Jun 11, 2015.

  1. I think that's a reasonable enough solution to the "conundrum." I mean, we also have the "ZEJ needs a fruit salad" thread in the AMA section, which is somewhat similar in premise inasmuch as it's not an actual ZEJ user that is fielding the questions -- just a person using a ZEJ user as a proxy to deliver the answers we've been craving.

  2. That sounds like it'd get cluttered fast, though. I'd rather have it in the Player's Paradise.

Real Talk just isn't the right venue, I think.

  3. I don't know if it'd get too cluttered, really. After all, if it's confined to a thread per person to encompass all of their characters, then it shouldn't be too messy. It might not be the most elegant way of handling it, but is the subforum it's categorized under really that consequential in the long run?

  4. It just seems really really out of place to have roleplaying shenanigans under a forum for real life.

  5. What, why? Why would you even stick a primarily RP-oriented exercise in the AMA section? It has no place in Real Talk at all.

  6. Alright, alright. I figured it'd be fine because there was precedent with Starr's niece's thread. But you guys are right -- it has already been pointed out that it doesn't make sense to have it in the ZEJ-o-AMA subforum. It doesn't take 2 separate people to point it out, heh.

So we're back to where we were before, I guess. We could feasibly use the Roleplaying Discussion section as Kuda had semi-suggested above to house the AMA threads. Again, it's unwieldy, but it does serve to generate some discussion of roleplays, so that would work.

  7. Yes.

  8. I'm gonna say that this is finally resolved, then. Roleplaying Discussion it is? Roleplaying Discussion it is. Let's get snazzy.
