The Celestials [SU/OoC]

  1. The Celestials


    In the land of Mongora, there once existed a great power. A power of great evil, and despair. A power able to take out anything which would stand in its way, and to push man into a severe state of fear. This power took many forms, it could disguise it self as an average man, and strike when the time is right, or it could appear in the form of a large beast, capable of destroying buildings in a single blow. Whichever form it took, it always retained its horrible power.

    One day, a group of 4 warriors joined forces to attempt to defeat the beast. One warrior for each of the 4 elements, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. These warriors where also of great power, but they used it for the greater good, to help the land of Mongora, instead of wreaking havoc. These 4 warriors fought valiantly, in a battle of strength, wits, and of course, power. In the end, these four warriors were nearly defeated, worn out from the battle, but the beast had also taken quite a bit of damage. Knowing that there was no other way, the four warriors combined their power to finalize the beasts fate, and sealed it away within a magical orb.

    Now, no one knows where this orb is, but it is known that this story is very well true, and if the power contained within this orb were to be released again, there would more then likely be no way to stop it again. The orb now, is kept under watch by a powerful race created by the gods, known as the Celestials. This is a humanoid race, with each of them having the power to control one of the four elements.

    The Celestials did their job well, protecting the orb, and strengthening the seal whenever it is to grow just a bit weaker, but now there is a mysterious force at work. For reasons unknown, the Celestial race is being killed off, one by one. As if someone was hunting them for their own cruel game. There are only four left now, one for each element, being just barely enough to protect the orb.

    Fearing that this orb is what the mysterious force is after, the remaining Celestials have kept an even closer eye on it then ever before, and now, the real battle starts.


    Yes, I know that the storyline is a bit generic, but I already had a few people interested so here is the SU.

  2. Name: Kassel A. Zephyrus
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
    Element: Wind
    Description: Kassel is an active man, excitable and also rather mocking. He has a strong sense of morals (albeit, not all are in exact alignment with goodness and prosperity...) and is very handsome-- a fact that he flaunts when joking around, but is actually rather modest about. Kassel is rather cocky, but has ample amounts of determination and willingness to follow through with his beliefs and plans. Aesthetics rank surprisingly high with him, and stylish finesse is wrought in all his actions. Seems to switch between "go with the flow; let it happen" attitudes and "rebel against fate; question everything" attitudes. He has windswept, sunny blonde hair and mistral green eyes.
    Abilities: +Flurry Speed: Kassel is extremely dexterous, and very nimble. He can slip his way around a battlefield like nobody's business.
    +Whirling Wind: Kassel channels his wind power most directly through weapons-- and his weapons are his two twin swords. When attacking, he often uses only one blade at a time (switching rapidly between swords at the end of each assault) and using this method allows him to whip narrow, cutting wind currents that far exceed the regular reach of the sword.
    +Cross Gale: Whereas attacking with one sword allows wind currents that reach far and narrow, when Kassel wields both his swords simultaneously, the wind power channeled becomes concentrated. The ferocious cross currents generated when he dual-slashes have a nasty habit of ripping anything in the close proximity to shreds.
    Biography: To be revealed...
    Possessions: Kassel carries two identical swords with him-- both of medium length, thin and light, and made for one-handed use. They're sheathed across his lower back in an X fashion, and it's rare that he wields them simultaneously in battle.
    Other: Kassel is good at and enjoys playing matchmaker, while he himself is homosexual. Many of his analogies pertain to kingdoms, and he has the oddest disliking for the sport of Frisbee. Despite his fighting style (which leaves very much to be desired in the "defense" category) he has a liking for fortresses. (All of this "other" stuff is based on either his name [pronounced, by the way, as "castle"] or the myths pertaining to the Greek entity Zephyrus)
