  1. END RESULTS OF POLL:
Poll: What Choice do you want?
    I want Roleplay! --- 2 Votes --- 50.00%
    I want Statistical! --- 1 Vote --- 25.00%
    I would rather play both. --- 1 Vote --- 25.00%

Well, I want to do a small poll before I begin. There are two different games styles that we have going on so far on ZEJ, and I'm wondering. What one do you want to play?

    Roleplay:
In this type of variant you would be able to post every 1 in three post, there is no specific order in which you have to actually post, that means we actually only need three people for a successive Roleplay! Well only three people? Now that is one of the good things, also it could be argued a bad thing. Well here are the good and bad points about this.

    Good things:
    1. Easy sign up sheets.
    2. Only three people needed to actually participate for a successful RP.
    3. Easy battle system (Just posting that you attacked, and whether it hit or not).
    4. The story line is way more flexible meaning, a splash of randomness thrown is in some places.
    5. You can have more then one file.

    Bad things:
    1. People could stray from the main point (This means we have to have some sense in what we do).
    2. One paragraph rule (You can not do one sentence basically).
    3. You can easily be left behind if you don't post for a bit (Trust me, it happens on almost everything).

Now you have seen the Roleplay part, let's see the statistical part!

    Statistical:
Now, in this one you will experience a almost rock solid story line and will use a semi complex rock-paper-scissors battle system that will have you planning your next moves carefully. You will experience the same type of world in the above section, just more restricted. You will never get left behind, but you might have a long wait if no one posts.

    The good and the bad:

    The good:
    1. Having a map that you actually play on.
    2. More of a manageable profile sheet that could get updated daily.
    3. Stronger foes (This will add a challenge to the game).

    The bad:
    1. Stalling, if one person doesn't post then the whole game could be stalled on one battle.
    2. Learning a new concept (It's actually Rock-paper-scissors but with six variants within six variants, it's a bit simple)

Once the poll has reached five votes, I will turn this into the OOC to whichever one that won, if most people vote for both of the Variants to happen, this will go to the Statplay.

This is now considered an discussion for the poll and also for questions about The Alchemist Series. You can discuss now.

    The Alchemist Series
    The Roleplay

The story is about an unchallenged rule, The rule of the Richard Empire. The Richard Empire, just as the name suggests, is an empire founded by Richard, the famous human alchemist. A hundred years has passed since Richard died, he was thought to live forever, until the tale of Richard's own son, Victor, poisoned his father with Alchemist Bane, or AlchBane. Yet, for the new rule, things never got better for the people. Victor as an old man of thirty years in age became an unwilling father. Naming his son bastard son, Richard, as a cruel joke. Victor slayed the mother and kept the child.

Once Richard the II became to the age of twenty five, with some Human alchemy an alchemy long sought, he challenged his father to a duel, Victor was not surprised, in fact, he waited for this moment. When the duel was over, Richard was victorious, and regained control of the empire, things got better, other stuff got worst. Richard the II then had five children in the span of twenty years.

In the last thirty years, the five children of Richard warred over control of the empire, each cornering themselves the five districts, leaving his seventy five year old father to watch his children fight.

This is about the time the United Underground Resistance came into play. At first it was a small tavern of alchemists and common folk resisting to obey any district, they were all driven out of their homes by armies from the districts. Over time the people soon found others like themselves, they joined up of course, soon more people started coming. After just three years of recruiting and district crimes, they officially became the United Underground Resistance. They consisted of Alchemists, mages, blacksmiths, mechanics, and all other sort of people.

This was modified by the request of a member, by the same member was a request for the sign up sheet to change a bit.

    Sign up sheet:

    Code:
    [b]Name:[/b]
    [b]Gender:[/b]
[b]Age:[/b] Something over fifteen at least.
[b]Profession:[/b] Just because of the name, doesn't mean you have to be an alchemist.
[b]Appearance:[/b] Pic or description are both acceptable
[b]Likes:[/b] Is your character a fan of sports? Anything they like, but please not everything.
[b]Dislikes:[/b] Same as above, except "Does your character hate sports?"
    [b]History:[/b] Optional

Here is the "Example Sign up Sheet".

    Name: Donna Leafericson
    Gender: Female
    Age: 19
Profession: Blacksmith (A character that would have a surprising amount of knowledge about metal, forges, and designing.)
Appearance: Donna is, short, from her hair to her height. She has pale skin, but that never shows since of all of the shoot she carries and the smoke that covers her skin, giving her a darker complection
Likes: The forge, reading, dogs, cloudy skies, thunder.
Dislikes: Staying outside for extended periods of time, sloppiness, disorder, alchemists.
History: Donna doesn't know where she's been, or where she is going, that is due to her short and long term memory loss. Whatever she does remember is that she likes to be a blacksmith

  2. RE: The Alchemist Series

Although I'm enamoured with the depth that Masq and not Shadow because he sucks utterly have brought to us in the stat-based style, I've found that there hasn't been too much in the way of good ol' post-by-post storytelling RPs these days around ZEJ; something that ought to be remedied in things like this and Kuda's tantalizing Feywings revitalization.

I personally voted for RPing, though it wouldn't hurt to add in some way to gauge a character's own life force along the way. Would certainly help wall out any possibility of there being godmodding~

  3. Since I think no one else is going to vote, I will start with the most popular, the roleplay! Sign ups are ready and you are able to post up to three character sheets. All character sheets are accepted unless you really go out of bounds, example: A thirty foot tall person, wears no clothing, has three heads, etc.

As long as you don't have something outrages, it is accepted.

  4. Alright, let's actually get this moving~

    Name: India Conundra
    Gender: Male
    Age: 26
    Profession: Mercenary (ex-Stonemason)
    Appearance:

India is tall, and built for his job. As an ex-stonemason, he has rather large muscles, which serve perfectly for ramming people out of the way, and clearing a path for his allies. He keeps all of this well-concealed beneath an emerald-green cloak, which drapes down to his mid-thighs. The hood casts a shadow over his gaunt face, which is a light brown colour. He has dark brown hair, and brown eyes completing that set. His pants are loose-fitting khakis, which are versatile and easily manipulated.
Likes: People who work hard, success, and those who do not try his patience.
Dislikes: Injustice, seeing oppressed people, failure… Generally most negative traits that human beings typically possess.
History: Presently Unknown, (May fill out later)

  5. Woohoo! First RPG here! I´m ready!!!

    Name: Dak Cleargash
    Gender: Male
    Age: 23
    Profession: Biologist, mainly entomologist
Appearance: Dak is extremely small and relatively thin. He wears a green adventurefitting gear with many brown mud patches. He has thin rectangular glasses and wears a green japanese straw-hat.
Likes: ants, nature, exploring, adventure, discovering new things, sharing knowlage with others
    Dislikes: people disrespecting nature
History: nothing special. (He´s an entomologist, what did you expect?!)
