  1. "Ah, so you're finally back."

    The greeting echoes from the strong, brunet man, disseminating throughout the glade and among the flora. The only answer is a cocky grin from the woman who is emerging from the tree line. She observes the open space casually, focusing on the pond in the center.

    "And you've rounded up all the dreamers?"

    Waving her hand at the body of water, the woman scoffs and replies in a snide tone, "Obviously," as the pool freezes over into a sheet of translucent ice under her manipulation. Kneeling, she touches the cool surface. "They're a weird bunch," she comments smugly, watching the icy slate accrue a vague image. Opaque frost melts into a predominantly purple scene-- gradually a view of some kind of crystalline clearing is displayed, where fresh, cyan water had been not moments before.

    An excited voice calls, "Is it starting? Come on, Nell!"

    A bemused expression befalls the woman's face as she glances up. A dark-haired boy rushes into the glade, looking behind him to make sure his companion-- a silver-haired preteen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, and a blindfold about her eyes-- follows.

    "Cool your jets, Thomas. I'm just setting up the viewing medium," the brunette pond-freezer replies. "Although, I've kept them waiting long enough. Guess I'll go... induct them."

    "Remember to only say what's necessary! We go about this in a scientific way," the sturdy man advised, a calm smirk on his face.

    "I don't need you to tell me that, Reagan!"

    The man's smirk only grows, as if he achieved his desired result. As Thomas chatters to his friend, explaining away all his excitement and anticipation, Reagan turns to look at the brunette woman. Satisfaction in his voice, he states, "We're creating a new world."

    The woman sneers after meeting his gaze and wanders back toward the surrounding forest, confidence and destiny glimmering in her eyes. "Only if these dreamers are any good," she murmurs to herself.

Depletes 5% Focus every Turn, prioritizes itself over Focus-Amplifying Conditions. Stackable up to 3 Times. Default Duration: 3 Turns.

    Severe Burn-- 12% Max Substance Damage every Turn for 4 Turns. Effect Damage is Increased by 2% Every Turn. Damage is Increased by 100% if Vulnerable Fire. Instantly Downgraded to Burn with Water or Ice Elemental Basic Attacks or Abilities.

    Slow-- Halves the movement of the afflicted and makes it more likely for the afflicted to miss with its attacks. (3 turns)

    Stop-- Completely freezes the afflicted in time making it incapable of performing any action. (3 turns)

    Wound-- The afflicted loses 5% base Substance every turn they are afflicted with this condition. (Duration: 4 turns)

    Personality: Brazen and bold, Deliria has a nonhesitating "let's do it" attitude, no matter how steeply the odds are stacked against her. She can be aggressive and openly hostile to all that stand in her way, and abrasive or overly blunt even to friends. She does have rare calmer moments, but these are often shadowed by her eager impatience to start or participate in a fight. Deliria actively resents and resists hindrance and more often than not will mildly hurt someone just to get them out of her way. The likelihood of this is only marginally decreased if the person happens to be an ally.

    Personality: Entirely introverted and focused, Kiowa prefers to be the hidden factor of everyone’s misfortune for day-to-day life. She is shown to possess quite a unique way of thinking, intellect, and quick wit when in rapidly changing situations. Kiowa loves the silent life, and is often pushing herself and others to follow suit to her quiet lifestyle. And because of her entire life being hidden away without a friend to be around, to whoever she meets, she observes and analyzes thoroughly. Behind her wit and intellect can be found her more darkened and morose side of her being. The loner, the one whom prefers to observe every movement from afar, and the plotter of twisted misfortunes upon those fools she feels ’deserve it.’ From time to time, Kiowa can just be seen staring deeply into your soul with such sadistically ecstatic eyes. She is hateful deep inside.

    --Nightmare Shot: The Serpent hisses and takes a glance at Kiowa. All the energy channeled through it and it’s master create a crisp atmosphere that begins to burn the eyes ever-so slightly. Slowly picking up her finger, Kiowa directs the Serpent to gather up the dark energy escaping beneath her place in standing going ahead to shoot a barrage of blasts at the target. Two hits. 85% pwr damage each. Range: 2 cells. Element: Dark. Focus: 6.

  9. ~The Core Somnambulist~

    Name: Aaron "Era" Cadence
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17
    Personality: Hard-working (only when he wants to be) and free-spirited, Era tends to be a bit of an introvert, avoiding social interactions in favor of remaining in isolation.  His belief is that people restrict his freedom--makes it less likely for a person to be themselves in fear of what other people might think about them.  He has a few friends, but outside of that, he doesn't make an effort to make any more, granted if someone deigns to speak to him, he's not a rude fellow by any means.  Being quite clever and intelligent, some might classify him as a nerd, but he's more of a slacker than anything, doing what he wishes when he wishes.  There's no doubt that if he had no morals, he'd be getting into some dangerous situations.  Most of his free time is spent writing or gaming, mostly the latter.  He takes particular interest in dreams, the spirit world, and other paranormal/otherwordly/unexplained situations/phenomena, though he tends to keep these occult/pseudo-scientific interests to himself.  Outside of all of the above, he's a lighthearted individual with a rather realistic perception of things.  He always tries to keep things in perspective--when things are likely to go right, they will, and when they are likely to go wrong, they will go wrong.  Some people find him blunt, and others insensitive, but that couldn't be farther from the truth.
    Appearance: Standing at a height of 5'7", Era has short hair dyed a light green color, though it was originally blond.  His skin is a pasty white as if he was in desperate need of some sun.  Upon his sharp-featured face, he wears silver-framed glasses with lenses that possess a very faint, light green gradient.  He's very skinny, and typically wears cargo pants that are a couple of sizes too large for him, typically wearing at least two belts in conjunction with them to keep them up.  His shirts are usually button-up, and on days he feels confident, he'll leave it unbuttoned and wear an undershirt beneath it, typically white or black.  On his feet, he wears black and white Converses with little doodles scribbled on them in black sharpie.  Sometimes he wears a black cap with a few buttons pinned on it, and on his back is a green backpack with more buttons, mostly portraying his favorite anime and his support for yaoi and yuri.
