Slice-of-Life Roleplaying

Well, I guess I can field the original post, then!

Yeah, we do have a pretty heavy focus on the 'fantastical' side of things. People tend to flock towards what they enjoy the most! But a while ago, Nate posed an interesting question about what would happen if our characters were to shed their amazing powers and be congregated into a slice-of-life, high school setting. Which got me thinking of how neat it would be to see them actually interacting, instead of just theoretically having these thoughts bounce around. I feel like it could be kind of neat and sandbox-y, and a really good way to further develop some of the fantastical characters, perhaps, in a 'non-canon' setting.

I don't know if that's necessarily the answer you were looking for, but would you be interested in something like that, Moonbootz?

I think ZEJ characters is the way to go. After all, if we were playing ourselves, I think we'd have a very different roleplay on our hands, haha.

Characters sans powers (if they had any in their 'home roleplay')!

As for a name, I dunno, it's a high school setting we're all leaning towards, right?

ZEJ High.

Gets the job done right easy, I suppose, with being clear about what it's about and where we're going with it... unllleeeessss you want something more "out there" to describe it since we'll end up having a loony ol' time. In which case, I'm not sure. 

However! Great idea, and I'm totally down for it if we go for it.

 

Aren't a good majority of us not high schoolers though? Maybe we could just flourish it with 'Academy' or something so it fits more with upper learning in general rather than high school?

Edit: This is me throwing my hat in the ring.

Edit 2: I suppose most of our characters are high schoolers... hmm...

 

Academy - I think that would work better. I have characters who are in their teens that I could use, but I also think this'd be yet another hilarious place to insert Austere, who ranges between his mid-70s and hundreds of years old depending on the RP.
