  1. Not gonna bother with the usual special formatting people tend to do with these profile threads. Any important information will be added to this opening post and in later posts on an as-needed basis.

    So yeah, those of you who've completed your profiles and have had them approved, go right ahead and post away~


    Here is the comprehensive detailing on the feature this SP will be trying out: X-Gauge Perks

    1. All rules are subject to change and suggestion throughout the entire duration of this SP.
    2. Unless otherwise stated, X-Gauge abilities are a free action to activate, with the exception of E-Triggers and X-Abilities which use your Act command.
    3. X-Gauge Perks are available to everyone at all times, including enemy units. 
    4. Perks require a designated amount of X-Levels to use. If you lack the required amount of X-Levels, the Perk cannot be activated.
    5. When you activate a Perk, your X-Gauge is locked for an amount of turns equal to the amount of X-Levels expended. E-Triggers and X-Abilities do not lock out your X-Gauge after use.
    6. While your X-Gauge is locked, you cannot activate any perks. However, you may still use E-Triggers given you have the required amount of X-Levels.
    7. Unless otherwise stated, Perks are immediately used when activated, and apply their effect only one time.

    List of X-Gauge Perks
    Basic Perks
    Striker - Increase damage/healing output of a basic attack or a single hit of a skill by 10%, 20% or 30%. 1, 2 or 3 X-Levels respectively.
    Sniper - Increase the range of a ranged skill or basic attack by 1, 2 or 3. 1, 2 or 3 X-Levels respectively. [Note: The AoE of a skill is unaffected]
    Frugal - Reduce the MP cost of a skill by 10%, 15% or 20% of its original cost. 1, 2 or 3 X-Levels
    Thinker - Increases Cycle MP initial MP recovery to 10%. 2 X-Levels [Note: Using your move action on Cycle MP still only supplies an additional 5%, for a total of 15%]
    Dueler - Increase the damage output of each hit in a flurry skill by 10%. 1 X-Level per hit.
    Specialist - Increase the chance to hit for a status infliction; That affliction has an increased duration by 1 turn, where applicable. 2 X-Levels.

    Specialty Perks
    Survivor - Survive a fatal blow with 1 HP, but only if the user had more than 1 HP before hand and the required X-Levels at the time of the fatal blow. 4 X-Levels; these are only used in the event of its trigger. This perk is always active, even if the X-Gauge is locked. It must be noted in a post if you would like this post deactivated.

    Orthros is a two-headed dog of devilish countenance. Short fur tainted to a shade darker than black covers a canine body that has been engineered by evolution to be an apex predator of all other species. Standing almost as tall as a fully-grown human, a lithe frame tapers down to a powerful, whip-like tail that bears a diseased reddish color. The pelt on Orthros' throats are permanently sheared away, exposing the cruel red sinew of his muscle beneath. Receptive ears spike out above his two heads, and unusually large jaws house irreverent rows of cuspids engineered by some mutated nature to bring whatever comes into violent contact with them to ruin.

    Profession: Kýo̱n Chamós-- The one who bears this Profession is a two-headed canine who is honing their hunting skills and baptizing their fangs with the blood of enemies in order to come into their role as an envoy of mayhem. [Basic Attack: Physical][Dikéfalo I][Lykófo̱s Ítta]

    *[Dikéfalo I] The User has the equivalent of Dual Wield. After executing an A-Ability marked with Cho̱ristós, the User may repeat the attack at the expense of 1 X-Level and half the Ability's MP Cost.
    **[Lykófo̱s Ítta] The Enemy Unit with the lowest percentage of Current HP is marked with Ítta. The User can perform Basic Attacks on this Unit from a Range of 2-3 Cells to leap to any Cell Adjacent to that Target.

    Weapon: Native Jaws: Identical vicious maws, filled with sharp cuspids. All the better tear your heart out with. [BA Range: Adjacent][+1 Atk x2]
    Armor: Barrier Spell: An honestly weak enchantment provided for the bearer so they are slightly more protected against magic in a fight. [+1 Spr]
    Accessory: Menial Shackles: Dull iron shackles clamped around the wearer's forelegs, vestiges of hexes long faded still etched into the metal. [+5 MP]

    A-Ability: Áthlia Kyni̱góskylo

    +Bark Over Bite: The User lets out a fierce growl as raw energy gathers in their jaws, the exposed muscle of their throat lighting up with crimson as the power flows upward. Increases the Damage Output of the User's next Basic Attack and any further Basic Attacks in the same Turn by +10%. Stacks a Maximum of 2 times, and stacks last 3 Turns. Range: Self. 4 MP.

    +Savage Bite: The User thrashes an unlucky adversary with their destructive jaws. 120% Atk. Damage. Chance of Wound (Mod. +1). Range: Adjacent. Element: Neutral. Cho̱ristós. 8 MP.

    R-Ability: None.
    B-Ability: Dieftharménos Fterá: Activates on use of an Act Command. During the next Ally Phase, the User's Movement is doubled, they may resume their Movement Command after Acting, and their first Basic Attack against the Enemy Unit marked with Ítta is treated as a Free Command and grants the User +10% Atk. for 1 Turn. The User may only use one Move Command while these effects are active. Dieftharménos Fterá has a cooldown of 3 Turns after activation.
    S-Ability: Krav̱galéa Orízonta: At the beginning of every Ally Phase, the User gains a stack of Anti̱liá (Maximum: 4 stacks). When attacking a Unit bearing the Ítta mark, all Anti̱liá stacks are consumed to boost the User's Atk. against that Target (for 1 Turn) by +10% per additional stack beyond the first, and the User gains an Act Command if they bore the Maximum amount of Anti̱liá stacks.

    E-Trigger: Pro̱í Sthénos: 'The night thought it had won, but still the beast lifts itself from the ground and shakes off its corporeal chains. Hackles rise and bloodlust surges; the vigor of the encroaching morning, close enough to drag into reality, courses through the monster's veins like blood. The dog's duty is not yet done, and so the hunt for the next day goes on.'  Pro̱í Sthénos can be activated (with an Act Command) while the User is otherwise restricted from Acting. Chain Cycle Mana. Dieftharménos Fterá is activated regardless of cooldown, and for the next 3 Turns the User becomes unable to bear any effects which impair usage of Act or Move Commands. Consumes 5 X-Levels.

Frighteningly powerful, her assault is a dance akin to the rushing rapids of the rivers that surge forward ruthlessly, ultimately culminating in the release of the souls of those deemed her enemies.     +Crescent SlashDelivers a powerful sweeping slash in the shape of a crescent which leaves the target bleeding profusely. 130% Atk Damage. Chance of Bleeding. Range: Adjacent Cell. ? MP.

    +FollowthroughContinues the previous strokes of the blade with elegance and grace so that the following assault definitely lands. 70% Atk Damage. 2 Hits. 110% Atk Damage. Must be chained from another ability. Sure Hit so long as the previous ability landed successfully. User must expend ?% extra MP to chain from an ability that was chained from Commencement. Range: Set. ? MP.

    +Aerial LashLeaps into the air and glides across the clouds in order to land two sharp slashes from above that wreak havoc upon airborne enemies. 100% Atk Damage. 2 Hits. Grounds Airborne targets for Two Turns. Range: 3 Cells; Linear. ? MP.

    +OverdriveFocuses energy so that both body and soul become enraptured in a blazing aura of will through which power flows freely. No Damage. Bolsters Atk by 30% for Three Turns. Increases CHR by 20% for Three Turns. Increases CHD by 25% for Three Turns. 6 Turn Cooldown. Range: Self. ? MP.

    +Flash BreakUtilizes a burst of mana to almost instantaneously close the distance between the user and her target before unleashing a devastating slash which rends its way through shields and pierces the target's defenses. 125% Atk Damage. Bypasses Damage Reduction buffs. Ignores 20% of the target's Def stat. User lands in the closest cell adjacent to the target. Range: 4 Cells. ? MP.

    +Eternal SessionApproaches the target and unleashes a quick succession of attacks as an offering of challenge, forcing the two into a combat from which only one will leave alive. No Damage. The user rushes to an adjacent cell of the target and unleashes a basic attack. Target of the assault is marked with Eternal Session. [Eternal Session – Afflicted must focus attacks on the user and cannot intentionally avoid attacking the user at any time while afflicted. If the afflicted cannot attack the user then the user's next attack on the target is Piercing.] Range: [User's Move] Cells. ? MP.

    +SleepCoats the blade in a shroud of purple mana that when used against her enemies causes their minds to become hazy and their bodies to become heavy until they truly are made of lead.     +New DirectionAssaults the target with a blade coated in an ominous aura which drains the target's energy before it clings to the user's blade thereafter. 90% Atk Damage. Absorbs 25% of the Damage Dealt as MP. The user recovers damage dealt to any target's MP as her own for Three Turns following the use of this ability. Range: Adjacent Cell. ? MP.

    +Rounding SliceApproaches the target with blade whirling in a disorienting fashion as slice after slice tears into the target's flesh. 80% Atk Damage. 3 Hits. Chance of Confusion. If used from full range, the user moves to an adjacent cell of the target. Range: 2 Cells. ? MP.
    ---Sanity CleavePulls back for the briefest of moments, clouding the blade in a violently red aura before delivering a sharp sweep of the blade which rends sanity in two. 140% Atk Damage. Advances Confusion to Dementia. Range: Set. ? MP.

    +Blade TempoDraws the blade in front of the user and takes a deep breath in order to get mana flowing so that the blade may fly faster to fit the pace of battle. No Damage. Bestows Haste. Range: Self. ? MP.

    +VortexUtilizes a burst of strength aided by the winds to surge over to targets and unleash the wrath of the winds through a series of expertly placed strikes finished with a powerful expulsion of wind. 90% Atk Damage. 3 Hits. 130% Atk Damage. Knocks targets two cells away. Range: 3 Cells [Landing Point]; Surrounding Cells [Damage]. ? MP. Wind Elemental [Last Hit].

    +AlignmentRepositions the body and blade in order to activate a seal on the user's mana flow, reducing the strain of exertion to make it easier to utilize mana-based techniques. No Damage. Reduces MP Costs by 50% for Three Turns. Range: Self. ? MP.

    +ShatterBrandishes the blade utilizing a surge of mana to strengthen the user's arm and the steel of her weapon so that the next slice shall shatter every bone in the target's body but spare the user any harm. 180% Atk Damage. High Chance of Pain. Destroys Petrified Targets. Range: Adjacent Cell. ? MP.

    +Last DanceMoving so quickly that her form is nothing but a blur lost to the drifts of time, the user's dance is an assault which withstands the tests of time and steals the life of the target using not the user's blade, but the reaper's scythe. No Damage. Chance of Instant Death. If the target is successfully afflicted with Instant Death, the user absorbs 20% of the target's HP and MP prior to the status as her own. If the target avoids Instant Death, the user's basic attacks and skills carry a small chance of Doom for Three Turns. Range: 3 Cells. ? MP.

    A-Ability: Precision Blade *LOCKED*

    +BrightcrestDrawing a luminous power upon the blade, delivers a series of slashes to the target before spinning through a spiral motion and cleaving the air causing light particles to shatter and surge outward to batter other nearby victims. 110% Atk Damage. 4 Hits. 90% Piercing Atk Damage. Targets successfully hit by the last hit in the combo take 3% Max HP Light Damage for Two Turns. Range: Adjacent Cell [First Four Hits]; Set + Horizontal Adjacent Cells [Final Hit]. ? MP. Light Elemental [Final Hit].

    +Ghost DriveManipulates intense wavelengths of spacial energy to warp faster than the speed of light around the target to deal numerous weak attacks before creating a vortex of mana through which a ghostly blade surges upward to knock the target clear across the battlefield. 60% Atk Damage. 24 Hits. 170% Atk Damage. Increased chance to hit [First 24 Hits]. Knocks target to the edge of the battlefield if the last hit connects. Range: 4 Cells. ? MP.

    +BladechargeSends mana surging through the blade to extend its meager frame in a massive weapon of destruction for a brief period of time, enabling for heavier assaults from a range while also enabling an incredibly powerful technique. No Damage. Increases the user's Atk by 20% for Four Turns. Increases the range of the user's basic attacks and skills by 2 cells for Four Turns. Enables the use of the damaging move Bladecharge at the cost of dispelling these effects immediately. [Bladecharge: 210% Atk Damage. User lands at target cell. Varying Hits. Number of hits determined by the targets in range. If a similar target is in range of this ability after it hits the first target, then the attack bounces to that target as well. The user lands in an adjacent cell to the final target. The user may expend ?% more MP to deal an additional 60% Piercing Atk Lightning MP Damage to all targets that were hit by this ability.     +Rising SunRaises the blade stalwartly and gather's one's energy before unleashing one's willpower in a blazing aura as one charges faster than a speeding bullet with blade outstretched to rend targets not once but twice. 125% Atk Damage. 2 Hits. Decreases the target's Def and Spr by 10% for Four Turns. Increases the user's Atk by 5% per target hit [counted both ways]. Neither effect stacks. Range: Straight Line. ? MP.

    +Last WishPours the very essence of one's being into the blade to perform one final action which will see this conflict through to its end, even if it takes the user's dying breath to do it. 300% Pierce Atk Damage. The user is KOed. If the battle objectives are successfully accomplished on the turn this ability was used, then the user's EXP penalty is reduced to 75% experience rather than 50%. Range: Adjacent Cell. 0 MP. 10 X-Levels.

    + Follow Me: Orca steels himself for the onslaught of enemies that might harm those in his charge. Bestows Cover on a Target Allied Unit for 2 Turns. Orca gains 10% DEF and SPR while this spell is active. Range: 3 Cells Element: Light. 7 MP.

    + Pirouetting Blade: Orca throws his weapon to break an enemy’s line of fire.. Orca throws his weapon in a straight line in front of him. No Damage. If it hits an Enemy Unit, that Unit is Knocked Back up to one (1) Cell away in a direction of the User’s choice. Range: 5 Cells (linear). Element: Dark. 5 MP.

    R-Ability: *LOCKED*
    S-Ability: Facets of Redirection - Damage Input that does not originally target Orca (excluding AOE damage) is reduced by 15%.
    E-Trigger: Rallying Cry - The User's next Basic Attack deals Physical Damage equal to 150% of total Damage Input that the User has taken over the course of the battle. In addition, the User radiates an aura of a two Cell radius that increases all Allied Units' max HP, Spr, and Def by 10% for three turns.

    +Meditate: The user takes a moment to calm down and clear all secondary thoughts from his mind. Bestows doublecast for 3 turns. Range: self. 4 MP

    +Little Push: Grants an ally 1 extra cell of movement, and +25% damage. Range: 3 cells. 8 MP

    S-Ability: Brainwaves - The user focuses intently, removing all distractions from their mind. Psionic Aura bonus is doubled, and Int damage output is increased by 20% for 3 turns.
    E-Trigger: Master of Missiles - Automatically reflects all ranged attacks from enemies for 3 turns.
