Pokemans gaem

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous Conjectures' started by Flimzy, Dec 15, 2011.

  1. I knew someone would say this. XD lolacan isn't so lolacan anymore, y'know.

    Recent Acanthite Discussion:

WHY THE HECK IS MEWTWO IN FEUDAL JAPAN. SINCE WHEN DID GENETICISTS EXIST IN THE DARK AGES OF JAPAN.

  2. No, really. That gaem thar has Mewtwo. It's based in feudal 日本. Rly.

  3. lolacan will keep being lolacan.

It's the natural law of the universe.

However, "Pokemon" has recently turned into "lolpokemon".

Is this another natural law of the universe?

  4. ^ lolnololacanisnotlolacananymore

lolpokemon, however, is plausible. Now to LAY WASTE TO THE WORLD.

  5. now you see why i gave up on pogaymans.

  6. This makes me wonder where the Mewtwo from the PMD series came from.
... Then again, one of the Friend Areas in the rescue team games is an abandoned lab...

  7. So not even the aliens know!?

Well, I guess it could be different aliens...

  8. Otherwise, yeah. I agre with Kuda in that:

    >nintendologic
    >mfw: WHAT. THE. HECK.

Kuda was also the most right:

  9. I've never honestly considered mewtwo's origins in non-mainstream pokemon games. But, time travel is used in pokemon (an entire movie based in the past, the multiplayer mode in guardian signs takes place in the past, there's an entire story arc based in the future in pmd 2) so it's entirely plausible celebi brought mewtwo back in time for no reason what so ever. Also, I take pogaymon as an insult.

  10. The word 'pogaymon' hasn't ever been used in this thread. :p

But as for the rest of the post, you're probably right! (Except I really don't remember which movie was based in the past?)

  11. That aside, I honestly can't say I'm at all interested in this spinoff. I may end up getting it as a ROM, but until that point, I'll probably just continue off in my own little world of nothingness (and reality, but that also equates to nothingness).

It really would have been a lot cooler to get a new Orre game, but honestly, I'd like to see them make Orre a visitable region in a 2D Pokémon game... RSE remake + Orre capabilities, anyone?

  12. Oh, oops. Wonder how Cmd+F didn't get that. Hm.

  13. It wasn't really based in the past, but Pokemon 4 Ever involved time travel and the Lucario movie had a fair bit of flashbacks.

  14. Ah, yes, of course. Even still, PMD2/.5 would prove time travel's existence; Celebi and Dialga.

  15. I thought ash went to the past in 4ever, or did *spoiler* oak *spoiler end* go to the future?

Also, @Eebit that would be cool, only I'm not sure how they would do that, as they already have the frontier accessible by boat, but maybe a plane? That would be cool. Also, you can't have an orre game without shadow pokemon, and eevee starters, and the eevee starters they can do it like the kanto and hoenn starters in hgss, but the shadow pokemon? How would that work?

  16. Oak travelled to the future.

    Oh, I didn't see this:

  17. I'm totally all-for this Orre (RHYMEZ) revival idea of yours, Eebit. No need to make ti the central point of the game, but making it a visitable location near the end-game would be a nice BIG cameo. <3 Though, you know- I wouldn't have anything against them making it the central point of all things again, :p So long as the game wouldn't revolve around Shadow Pokemon or purely trading and actually allow you to capture wild Pokemon. That'd be totally cool. Orre feels like a place unlike any other Pokemon game; I just want to see it revisited in a more-expansive form, at the very least, with actual wild Pokemon, etc. Loved Colosseum and XD.
