News From A 4DS

Having finally gotten back home, to those who did know I was sort of "away" for a couple of days, I have brought news. Well, two actually.

The Bad: My computer suicided. It's dead. After promptly refusing to boot up the first 5 or 6 attempts, it proceeded to do the telltale beeeeeeeeeep while not even loading the /loading/ pre-windows screens and staying like, well, a BLACK Screen Of Death. RIP Super-Ancient Machine, December 25th, 2012; "Fortuna has a fucking ridiculous sense of humor." Unless you decide to revive. Knowing this computer, I might as well add that as a possibility.

The Good: I'm getting a new desktop, hopefully soon. I'm no Kuda so you can "expect" it somewhere not half a year later after the initial notice. Possible and temporary replacement for the time being would be, of course, the laptop.

And that's basically it. Yeah.

Oh and inb4Kuda.

 

It's not necessary, I'll have the laptop regularly from the looks of it. Which has more than enough An Things to entertain me, including my usual IRC client.
