Let's Talk Art!

Hmmmm...I'm not good at requesting art. In fact, I told my tattoo artist I wanted an ouroboros and that he should do whatever he wants as far as design. So...If I were to receive art, I would like to have art of any of my characters that exist on ZEJ.

 

If you were wanting to draw a picture for me, I would recommend sticking to something gaming-related. Maybe a mash-up of multiple characters from a few of my favorite series, or a close-up of one, or two, or basically whatever. I'm not really picky at all, and that's probably not very helpful when someone is trying to create an art piece for somebody, so I apologize for that, but really, just do what you want man!

Hearthstone is something I've definitely been passionate about recently. If you were to go down this branch, probably something involving the nine default playable heroes would be pretty damn cool!

Smash Bros. is also something that I am very enthusiastic about (very excited for the direct this month), so even a mashup involving Nintendo characters would be just awesome. I'm maining Ike, Roy, Zero Suit Samus, and Captain Falcon in Smash 4 at the moment. Other characters definitely welcome.

Fire Emblem of course! Ike, Mia, and Nephenee from Path of Radiance would probably be my favorite Radiant Dawn trio, while Chrom, Robin, and Luciana (ala Brawl) would be my choices for Awakening.

Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, and Pheonix Wright would probably be pretty simple, just feature some main characters!

If you prefer realistic grittiness as opposed to all these colorful characters, something pertaining to Fallout would also be great. Maybe the Lone Survivor in Power Armor walking away from an explosion alongside Dogmeat?

I dunno, just throwing stuff out there for anybody who actually might need it, haha. Hope it was of some help.

 

I love "ugly" animals-- spiders, cockroaches, moths, and termites. But I also love a couple "cute" animals, most of all the axolotl. Awwwwwwww!!

 

Like most here, I'd be really enamored if someone were to attempt drawing any of my characters; in particular, Austere Clements, Rock, or Baboy Man, since they have the most gusto on ZEJ in terms of appearances, though Tomari Spalding (damn it, I need to actually use him someplace that lasts someday), Vacuum Duck, or Chance Rivers would be great, too. Aside, like @Flamezone, I'm fairly enamored with Smash, the Legend of Zelda, and Fire Emblem (Ranulf, in particular, is one of my favorites I'd like to see done), as well as Okami, Paper Mario, Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy Tactics, and like @Keileon, I LOVE foxes. Seriously. They are the forest creature that I'm most enamored by on an international scale (step aside, pandas). As anyone knows, I also am a big fan of walruses. 

I also love music; it's kind of my bag. All sorts. If any art were to be inspired by music, that would be awesome.

With all of that said, I'd be a tremendous fan of anything that you are passionate about (I swear, send me something based off of Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure and I would still dig it because I dig you and your gag gift likes). I think that, generally speaking, we would know enough about ol' Jonno to know his purest, truest dislikes (of which there are few and far between, really; at least I can't think of much off of the top of my head that isn't political), so you'd be pretty safe with whatever.

 

This is a great idea for a thread! It'll be interesting to see how it goes, after the secret santa thing. I'd love to see discussions about stuff like art techniques and whatever else.

So, anyway, as far as art stuff goes, I did say some of my interests in the Secret Santa thread, and a lot of that holds true here.

Doctor Who - My favorite Doctor-companion pair is 10 (Tenant) and Donna. Though 12 (Capaldi) is seriously rising as my favorite Doctor, even if Clara can't hold a candle to Donna. Art of either of them would be fun.
HTTYD - I love basically everything about this, so pretty much any subject matter from it would be great. I do have a favorite dragon though, and that's the Timberjack
Pixar Stuff - Oh god, where to start. I pretty much love everything Pixar. Only ones I haven't watched are Up, Inside Out, and The Good Dinosaur. Pretty much any subject matter is good here, including from the ones I haven't seen.
Star Wars - I am such a big fan of Star Wars that it's almost silly. I'l just list some characters that I particularly like, I suppose. Kit Fisto, Mara Jade, Admiral Thrawn, Asajj Ventress... I could go on but those are the charactersI usually geek out over.
Anime - I've seen so many anime that it's kind of hard to decide. Some of my favorite anime (and which art of would be cool to have) are Shokugeki no Soma, K, Durarara!!, and of course, Studio Ghibli stuff.
Dragon Quest - Hard to say, really. I love just about everything about Dragon Quest, so if you go with this, just have some fun, I guess.
Earthbound - Yet another thing I love everything about.

My own things - I'd love to see some ZEJ-made art of a couple of my characters in particular.

Tatsuo Yoshiro: (Note: While I do have a picture on the profile, it mostly served as inspiration, so it isn't necessary to follow it perfectly. In fact, I think it'd be good to have some differences from it.) A bit on the short side and has an athletic build. He has unkempt black hair, about medium length, and has heterochromia -- his right eye is red, and his left is blue. He has two guns, a revolver, which in addition to bullets can shoot blue energy, and a more modern pistol, which can shoot red energy. I'd love to go into more details about those but it's probably best to see the picture with the profile. Also, while the revolver does have religious symbols in the picture, and I mentioned it in the profile, it's not strictly necessary, and it'd be okay to not include them.
Prisma Version 25: Prisma is a Diclonius, which just means that she has phantom "limbs" coming out of her back which I'll descibe after I describe her. Prisma is fairly tall and thin - even nearly emaciated-looking. She has pale skin on account of her being a diclonius, long, pink hair that is messy, and dark red eyes. Now, onto her vectors: When she has her vectors extended, they refract light in such a way that they act as prisms, making them appear to be a rainbow of colors. If you want more information about how vectors behave, Shadow or Kuda would be best to ask about that, I think.
