:::Heroes: A Change in Fate::: ~SU Thread~

Discussion in 'Out of Character Discussion' started by crazE, Jan 2, 2014.

  1. Bryan gazed out into the distance, taking in the soothing violet and orange hues the sunset painted onto the sky. Taking in a deep breath, the warm summer breeze caressed his lungs softly; he closed his eyes in comfort.

Upon the first floor of the renowned Eiffel Tower, Bryan stood close to the railing. The summer night was something to be relished, for summer was drawing to an end. Bryan could sense the changing winds already.

"I see..." he spoke. Turning around, he faced a worn-out boy in nike running shoes and a jacket just a size larger than usual. It seemed he had just gotten there.

Looking up, the boy gave a thumbs up, keeping his lungs moving vigorously to regain lost oxygen.

Bryan returned to facing the sunset. "I guess it is time to find them..." he murmured. "I can already feel them."

"More like us?" the boy piped up from behind. Although his hand was on his chest, covering the Ninja Turtles logo, his breathing was much calmer now.

Bryan smiled. "More like us," he responded.

    Name:
    Age:
    Gender:
Appearance: (be very descriptive. If it's going to be a long description, separate your sentences into small paragraphs instead of conjuring a giant wall.)

Abilities: (Keep it to one ability. That is it! Also, as far as abilities go, the potential of how far your abilities go entirely depends on what happens in your character's background. I'm not accepting full potential power of your abilities of your character barely discovers them. That's bullcrap and you know it.)

Location: (Your character lives on Earth, so I suppose they must be somewhere on it! You may choose anywhere in the world, but be descriptive. I don't want "in Canada" because Canada's a big place to be. I want specifics!)

Background: (Use this opportunity to develop a background for your character. How did they cope with discovering their abilities? How did everyone else cope? Did they hide it or show it? Did they love it or hate it? What was their background before discovering their capability?)

Other: (This can be anything, ranging from what they like to carry around to owning a pet. Anything sentimental or personal that could be shared would go here. You may have multiple categories in Other, including possible relationships or other useful information you find must be shared about your character.)

(Before this is brought up, I will say that there were cases in the old Heroes RP where you can work as a super-powered agent, someone who works for the organization but has abilities just like the people they're after. These agents are known as Hunters because of their sole purpose to the Organization being to capture other super-powered people using their own abilities.

If you would like to play as a Hunter, you may. Simply put "Identification" under Name, or replace it entirely, and put a codename. At any point in time in the RP, your character could be recruited if the story goes in that direction. In that case, update your profile with this. If your Hunter quits the organization, they still retain their Identification. Also, good luck to that character!)

As a separate note: Whatever In-Character special interactions you'd like your character to have should be notified to me separately from your profile when you PM it to me. Not necessarily separate PM, but not involved in your profile. I will restate: Your character can have anything; you're going to be spoiled for this RP. Your character can know someone in the Organization, they can be helping someone fight an illness, they can know and interact with other peoples' characters, they can have a secret relationship with someone, they can be crazy, etc. Just keep it realistic to your character's background.

  2. -------------Reserved for CrazE Characters-----------------

  3. Name: Jacob "Jake" Daube
    Age: 16
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Jacob is short for his age, and has a stocky build. His naturally pale skin is usually slightly tanned in summer from doing work outside. For clothing, he usually wears a graphic T-shirt with a faded brown vest, with jeans, and either hiking shoes or work boots. He has dull hazel eyes, and shaggy, light brown hair that he keeps short so as not to deal with it in the mornings.

Abilities: Telepathic Scream A very unstable power not fully under Jake's control, he can let out a mental scream that causes pain at minor levels, but if he does it with enough force, can even cause hemorrhaging inside a receiver's brain. It tends to fluctuate with Jake's emotions, with particularly strong negative emotions rendering him unapproachable, even if he is unconscious for quite a while. Due to this power straining his mind, Jake constantly has a headache, aand currently can't use it without this headache getting debilitatingly worse.
He has the potential for truer telepathy, but would need to be trained in its use first.

Telekinesis: Currently only a side effect of his telepathic powers, he has the potential to fully control this power as well.

Location: His family home outside Kittitas, Washington.

Background: Before he reached the age of 10, Jake, and by extension his family, seemed nornal. However, that year he first began to experience headaches, even having to come home early nearly every day by the end of that school year. Even after going to doctor after doctor, not a single one could find a cause, and no medication worked for him.

After about six months of this, people around Jaake began to notice a strange ringing, that seemed to be centered in their head, rather than their ears. When the next sxhool year started, the stress put on Jake exacerbated his own headaches, and finally put his abilities into notice. Early that year was his first scream, and one of the worst ever, at that. Nearly every person at school that day had to be hospitalized, but Jake, aside from his usual headache, seemed to be fine. Seeing that there was something strange with their son, Jake's parents decided it would be best to homeschool him from then on, and his abilities died down for a few years.

However, puberty did nothing good with his abilities, and even the smallest fluctuation can cause him to let out his screams. His parents are at a complete loss for what to do. Even they feel that they can't stand it anymore.

    Other: [none as of yet]
