For as long as one could ever recall or write, The Avatar Cycle has been and always will be eternal. The spirit of Raava being carried out between each race for countless generations, untouched. However, ten thousand years ago, a monumental battle took place in the ancient surface of the world; Harmonic Convergence.

Light and Dark; two forces that cannot exist without the other. Raava, the spirit of Light prevailed again from a decisive battle that would pave the fate of the entire planet, defeating the Anti-Avatar, Unalaq who had fused with Vaatu for mere power and spite. Along with Avatar Korra, Raava and her brilliant light had pierced through a certain defeat in the clutches of darkness, however, at the price of ultimately killing off Vaatu's current form.

Though, nobody else but Korra knew the consequences of that.

Fast forwarding decades, centuries...the world finally began to see the light along with their spirit brethren to end all conflicts and hate around the world. Using Raava's light, each nation let go of their differences and worked together to forge a utopia for all. A future eradication war, famine, hate; one future that slowly but surely detached everyone from their dogmatic pasts in order to progress into glory. As the centuries passed on, advancements in technology and science allowed for easier living and chipped away the need of bending for the sake of fighting, sport, or protection. When life became easier, that was when the Avatar was no longer needed for the people. It had just become a legend...a past thrown behind them.

Now in the present day, word of the next Harmonic Convergence spreads like wildfire around each nation across the globe. News of an imminent battle between Raava and Vaatu stir mass panic and chaos within the minds of men, causing the once collective utopia of earth to fracture and fall apart. Fear of a possible 10,000 years of darkness sends the planet out of control...and also it sends the planet and the small, isolated factions of the remaining benders to look for answers.....

there is one question, though. When the world is in the midst of a spiritual doomsday...

Jazz hands. Well, welcome to this little interest check for ZEJ's first Avatar fandom RP! Inspired by the recent events unfolding with The Legend of Korra's season finale, Nate and I have decided to finally give ZEJ a chance to act out in the Avatar universe! The plot itself has been put together by both of us, so no need to worry about anything!​

This roleplay does take place 10,000 years post-Korra so as you may know from the recent episode of LoK, this roleplay is set to happen a bit before the next Harmonic Convergence. At this time of age, the avatar world has gone from what we've seen in LoK to a sort of Art Deco-Futuristic age. We'll have flying cars, advancements in technology, medicine, etc. So of course we've come a long way from the swinging times of old Republic City, no? ​

After the news of the next Harmonic Convergence coming up, the world went into panic since of course.....there hasn't been any of that for centuries AND also there isn't a known Avatar to stop this. And without further hurting your eyes with this much wording, the main point of this roleplay is to find the avatar and seek out the old ways of bending and wisdom to re-awaken the ancient art of bending just before the Harmonic Convergence comes once again. ​
