Final Fantasy Tactics: Binding the World Together [Role Play]

Alright so the mod finally starts here guys. I will start off with the story as to how you guys came to meet eachother, then you guys can choose from the Request Board, which I will create a seperate section for, as well as another one for our current equipment, and one for the shop. After reading the start you may post, and begin your adventure.



-----STARTING OUT-----

The group walks into the town of Camoa... they had heard that it is where many clans had gotten started off... After meeting, all at the cross roads to Camoa they decided that they should start a clan, as none of them really had an idea of what to do once they got to Camoa. A clan was a good way to make money, and was also often a good source of information. Soon after they arrived and after having looked around they had no idea how to actually start this clan. After having asked around a little bit they got some information out of a small bangaa about 4 foot tall. He said "Oh yesss, it hass been sssaid that to ssstart a clan, you must pledge your loyalty to uphold the law to a current judge... There is a rumor that Judge Master Cid himself is at the local pub, you ssshould pay him a visssit..." The small bangaa holds out his hands, and you give him 2 gil for the tip. A bit later, As you walk up to the pub, feeling nervous, you open the door. Inside the warm place there is a warm glow, up ahead you see a man at a counter, and stairs down into the main room.

Sleet Rod: Used by Mainly Illusionists, and Time Mages. Gives ability Silence to Time Mages Cost: 200 Gil

Short Sword: Used by Warriors, Soilders, and just about anybody who can wield a sword Cost: 100 Gil

Broad Sword: Slower then short sword but more powerful. Cost: 200 Gil

White Staff: Most commonly used staff by White Mages. White Mages get cure. Cost: 200 Gil

Guard Staff: Most commonly used by Summoners. Gives Ifrit to Summoners. Cost: 400 Gil

Hard Knuckles: Mainly used by White Monks. Gives white monks Air Render. 200 Gil

Leather Garb: A garb made of leather, used by any class that can wear light armour, or clothing. 200 Gil

Chain Mail: A series of iron rings brought together to form a piece of light armour. 300 Gil

As you gaze through the crowd, you see a crowd of people near the back all seeming to be talking to one particular man, you ask the Bartender who he is and he replys

"Oh, well that there'd be Cid! He is the Judge Master of this land, watching over engagements, and Making sure things dont get too out of hand in the way of life that we all so enjoy."

As you look closer you do realize that this man is wearing some sort of special armour that no one else seems to be wearing.

"Be sure to stop by anytime! There may be some Requests up soon on the board, and sometimes when your not sure what you should be doing, a new rumor may show up on something that may clue you in."

The bartender points toward the Request Board for Missions upon which people inside of clans may embark upon. As you look back to the judge, it almost seems as if you make eye contact with him, as you walk up to him. As you walk up you get ready to ask for the creation of a new clan...

(The judge himself usually picks the name of the clan according to the way he seems the clan is)

As you all approach the man you notice that he is not currently wearing A helmet. He has a spikey, sort of laid back hair style, and a sort of mellow face, as if it was exactly the opposite of what you would have imagined him to look like. Reaching the man you... (Cant blame me for controlling the character this time, because they said they where going towards it (Ziolang and Shadow) )

After a couple of hours of the madness of people trying to get in to speak with the judge, there is finally few people left, and it is your turn to speak.

 

Looking around, Cid doesn't seem to hear where the voice is coming from, then he looks down and sees a Moogle reaching his hand out in a Casual Manner, as well as a few people behind him who seem to be with him.

"Hello there Lemmy, what buisness do you and your group have with me as of today?"

The judge shakes Lemmys hand while asking this.

 

"You mean A clan, am I not correct? Well if that is the case then all you would have to do is swear on the Judge's Oath, and to follow the law, and you shall always be under the protecting of the judges, as you adventure on. If you and the others here would be able to state the name of your clan, then I would gladly preform the ceremony, of course only if you all swear the Judge's Oath."

Cid then motions for them to raise their hand in the air, and show him their palms as he asks them if they will swear the Judges Oath, meaning that they must abide by the law, or certain consequences will happen. However, if you do abide by the law, then you will receive benifits, and priveliges, but ONLY if you abide by the law.

 

Seeing everyone having swore the oath, Cid pulls out a Steel Short Sword from the sheath on his back, and raises it into the air. The sword is trimmed with golden edges, and has a golden stripe down the middle. The judge then mutters some unrecgonizable speech, and then a large beam of light comes down from the ceiling, and covers the four clan members. Then, the light retreats, and the Judge Master says. "Welcome, to clan Nova".

 

"Your welcome", says the Judge Master. "When a Clan starts out they get some basic equipment, and 1500 Gil to start out your work". Says the Judge Master, pulling out a small bag of equipment. Opening it up you see some basic weapons, and armour, aswell as a small pile of coins. "It might be a good idea to check with the pub master of any good missions up right now, but you should probably find a low ranking one. When you get a mission, you can see the difficulty, as well as the other details needed for it, and the reward". Cid points up towards a large board on the wall with a few notes on it.
