It was a simple shop. A restaurant placed between a slew of hardware stores, florists, and grocers. They sold sweets, teas, and 2 out of the 3 daily meals. One of the few actual eateries in the area, the residents of the town were grateful for the place- Cooker's Confect. Much to there dismay, the doors would be shut tight by 8 pm.


The workers slowly going about lighting candles as a door labeled "Out of Order" was propped open and the curtains pulled closed. Beings of all sorts would pour in, requesting all sorts of strange foods- blood from a server's neck, raw steak, mice, and gems...


And as this magical time began, any worker who wasn't of the human-looking sort would drop their mystical guise- For this was the restaurant of the magical-
