At Worlds End Pub and Grill

  1. Ok, so back on my old forum, one of the moderators started a kind of.....cantina RP, where characters could meet that wouldn't otherwise. due to dimensional issues. I'd like to start something like that here, sorta as a way for them to relax and screw around.

    Features:
    ~bar and grill with seating for as many as show up.
    ~combat arena with a holodeck-like imaging system.
      -This was for team battles to improve teamwork outside the roleplays they were currently in.
    ~Fun atmosphere and a little bit of romance off to the side.
      -There were plenty of 'side rooms' for characters to 'pair off' in, if they so wished.

    It's not like a standard RP, where you have a set character list...It's more like the end of time bar from FFXIII-2

    Give me some feedback peeps.

  2. We used to have something like this kicking around as a 'companion' to each iteration of our "Ultimate Tournament" series of roleplays. It usually led to some fun times in between the battles. I know our friends over at Eternal Dream also ran something like this called the "Tea Room" to moderate success for a time. Really, it'd just depend on people to actively be interested in doing some slice-of-life sideplotting/side-roleplaying. It's a fun idea, but I hesitate to advocate for it because of how many other RPing commitments people pin themselves to around here. It could leave a lot of potentially interaction to the wayside if those commitments add up.

  3. *nods* What iwas thinking it could be is sorta like a social RP for the characters. Not something that requires commitment, per se, but something they can drop by for like a drink or something.

  6. I would basically be there all the time since none of my RPs are up yet XD
    sounds like a great place for the downtime we sometimes end up having between RP startups or new posts

  10. Hmm. I had the idea that it wa between worlds, sorta? Y'know so that the characters could find thier way there extradimensionally, so that characters that aren't from the same worlds could meet and greet.
