  1. Just installed XBMC 12.

IMO this is what the 360's media player should have been.

  2. This too (lol two days late). It's been a good run, but finally I am about to graduate. The ceremony is tonight and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Mixed feelings, ahoy!

  3. Congrats, Eeb! Hope you felt awesome during the ceremony! It's such a great feeling that it drowns out the sadness of leaving your school.

  4. Congratulations on finally making it to the end, Eebit! :)

Me, I still have a year left. So close and yet so far. >3>

  5. Good job, Eeb. =) Know where you're going for college?

  6. Thanks, guys! It was a pretty wicked feeling, especially the throwing of the hats. I kind of felt like I was in a movie; it was an unreal feeling. A tad bittersweet that it's over, though, in the end. Strange to think that everyone in that picture is going to just be known as "that guy I went to high school with" now, though.

@Gist, I know the feeling. Last year I was in your shoes exactly. I had a bunch of friends who moved on to universities and whatnot without me and it was a tough time. But you're almost there, so stick to it and you'll be done in no time!

@Espy, I do, actually! Interestingly enough, my university decision actually came down to a coin flip (for the longest time I left the coin exactly where I set it when making my choice to remind me of how chancey it was). It was between a university out in Nova Scotia for their Commerce program, and one in-province university for the Political Science program, which is the one I ultimately ended up going with.

  7. Wow your batch is huge. My (graduating) school was small though, my batch was only some 45-50 students. Maybe around 40.

Political Science eh? Will we be seeing a certain Mr Jake LastName as PM of Canada sometime later? ;)

  8. Nova Scotia?! Aaaaaaaaaaa Eeb noooo!! (and sweet, political science. I assume you also have connections to really help you out there, right?)

  9. Those feels you get when you're at Costco and you don't find any free samples. I just died a little.

  10. @Espy, yeah I guess we had a fairly large graduating class. I'd say something like 200 students...? Largely full of very good people, but obviously there are some exceptions to that...! Doubtful at best in terms of me being the Prime Minister, haha. As this is going to be my undergrad degree's major, I think I am going to take it and turn it into a postgrad in Law or a Master's in Business Administration, depending on how the courses go. Though going into politics could actually be decently interesting... Hmm, guess we'll see!

@Starr, I know! It was honestly a ridiculously tough decision for me to make. Halifax is the city I'd have been going to, and it would have been so nice to live there. The campus was absolutely gorgeous and all, too. It sucks, but hopefully it ends up being a better fit. I would have been taking a ridiculous amount of financial and business math/economics in first year alone before I got to specialize into something of interest, like marketing, which is definitely not what I wanted to do anyway. As I said though, it was as chance-y as a coinflip!

Also, happy fourth of July to all you 'Murricans out there. Hope you enjoy the fireworks!

  11. Tyran; we beat you in that department. FIARWURKS BASICALLY EVURY NIGHT IN THAT FUCKING FIELD BEHIND MY HOUSE OVER WHICH MY ROOM HANGS SO I NEVER GET A DECENT AMOUNT OF SLEEP, FUCK IT. #ohyeahfireworkswhoneedssleepanyway

  12. Got to see the US Independence Day Fireworks about a mile away where they were being set off at the Hilton courtyard from my house in the country club, actually. It was a quaint, awesome experience as it has been every past year I've been in Arizona, and it was made even more awesome because turbotaxer was at the house this time around to celebrate it with us. It was also my older sister's birthday that day and we helped make that memorable for her by giving her a terrible amazing home-made card and performing a couple of terrible amazing songs for her after dinner/dessert.

  14. I made a story guys... hello?

  15. Proof of stepderp's computer illiteracy, while he's filling out an application:

"What's all this shit that just popped up?"
"You clicked the wrong mouse button. Click somewhere else."
    . . .
"It says "Choose..." and has an arrow, what do I do?"
"When it has an arrow like that, click the arrow and it shows your options."
    . . .
    "How do I clear this?"
    "Backspace."
    "Where's that?"

And this is why I'm forced to use the 3DS for now.

  16. "In the study, objects such as water drops, coffee
grounds, and toothpicks were manipulated entirely
with sound waves. This technique does not rely on
electromagnetis and is actually able to manipulate
the materials without physically touching them solely
    through sound.

  17. ^ That's actually pretty awesome. I had a dream where I could float and make other things levitate recently too. Maybe we could make at least the latter half of that dream come true within our lifetime. Probably will.

Reminds me of this article my cousin posted on Facebook today: http://junkee.com/someone-invented-magic-and-it-is-freaking-us-out/14880

  18. For some reason I had a dream last night where I tried to freeze myself to death.

I have no idea why, but for some reason it involved Minecraft wheat crops.

  19. ^It's a sign, you know what you must do know.

1 more month of freedom, then SENIOR YEAR :DDDDDD
