    Anyway, this is the thread where you just get to talk about whatever happens to be on your mind. You can continue a topic or change it, just don't be surprised if your topic change is ignored for the previous topic. :x


    Getting thunderstorms and tornado warnings in my area. <_< The rain was coming down in sheets, sirens were blaring, street flooded, I could /see/ the rain being blown by the wind in waves, and the rain gutter was spouting water like a garden hose. I always get so nervous when this happens, the last bad one we had uprooted a sizeable tree and messed up the whole block's power line. We had no power until 11am. oh minessota...

  3. Espy, if I could I would. D: I hate storms. It's one of the reasons I miss California. My brother loves it, but me... ugh. I'm terrified of tornados.

  4. You have tornadoes? =O I guess I'm quite happy that India has mountains all over, they break the tornadoes. But I love rain <3 rainymood.com

  5. Massive storms? My area gets a few of those. There was one earlier in the Spring that saw a large tree crash into a house and left me without power for a day and a half, and then there was August of 2003...

  6. Reminds me of the time when the entirety of my city, a large port city, was flooded. It was quite inconvenient...

  7. Very much this. I love the sound of rain, and I love going for walks in the pouring rain as well. It's not, perhaps, the romantic thing that the women of North American culture seem to make it out to be ("omg i wan git kissed in da rianz y u no"), but I do really enjoy going out in it. Very soothing and calming, in my opinion. Love Rainy Mood, as well. Makes music more ambient in some cases. I'll try and remember one specifically and post it in the "What're You Listening to" thread.

    As for tornadoes... For the longest time, I'd always been deathly afraid of them ever since I was a little kid. An older kid who was my parents' friends' son had instilled this thought that a tornado and a fire were both going to come when I was asleep, and it made me fear them both for the longest time. I don't think this kid ever realized it, though.

  8. I have to admit, I love the sound of storms, and it's fascinating watching lightning, I just hate getting wet. I hate the bad storms because of the tornado warnings and potential for losing power. Lightning doesn't scare me, except for that time we had a bad thunderstorm in California, lightning hit the tree in my front yard, and we had a momentary power outage. ._.

  11. Welp, it's rained a bit here but no more really thunderbad storms lately. Yaaaay...

    Hey, is it my connection or has anyone noticed ZEJ being slower...? It usually loads fairly quickly, even on my DSi. And it's only ZEJ.

  12. ^Heavy internet traffic, maybe? :p I dunno. Loads perfectly fine for me. Most of the time. *shrugs*

    It was raining here as well. A little bit. On and off. I was outside when it did, and when I went back in, the rain stopped...and when I went out again it rained again. And it did that about two more times. D: GRAGH!

  14. Well gguys, I have Band Camp this whole week and it's just /amazing/.

    LOL and wednesday is INITIATION. The initiation is Duct tape thongs for the guys :3

  16. D'awe, Glowbo. I just saw this. You have to bake your own birthday cakes? D: I'll have to come visit you someday to bake you your very own birthday cake, if that's the case. (Or silly me could just be reading it wrong. ¯\(°_o)/¯ )

    Hopefully I am wrong. Either way, hope your birthday was great, again! :>

  18. It is almost 1:30am. Most people would be asleep. Me? I'm wide awake because I've had 40 fl oz of Mountain Dew Voltage today and the caffeine keeps me up.

    Not that I'm complaining. Gives me more time for roleplaying and adoptables. XD

  19. Yeah, I've been sleeping rough lately. Even while I was away from here for the past week or thereabouts I was struggling to get to bed, scraping by with actually drifting off to sleep at like 5am... such is the life when you are slowly getting yourself unintentionally conditioned to be nocturnal. :I

  20. This. I don't go to sleep until FIVE IN THE FRICKEN MORNING, and then I usually wake up at noon-ish, or even later. Way to throw off my internal clock. :p And what do I do? Well...

    I've been busy with the EqD National Pony Writing Month. It's kinda like NaNoWriMo, only with ponies. xP So now, I have to write a 50000-word fic about some random pony thing. Challenge accepted. (Also, it's an in-progress crossover with Amnesia, if ya'll can believe that.)

    Before I annoy the haters further, I would also like to state I have a surgery planned a couple of weeks from now. My wisdom teeth require pulling, it would seem, and they have yet to even come in...which means they basically have to cut into my gums to get at them. YEGH. I will NOT be looking forward to that...
