Before the Conspiracy, there was a Dream. Before we knew the World Under One, there was a World Above One.

Unlike the stories of heroes overcoming injustices, this one does not begin with successful, fortunate humans battling for righteousness. Beyond the folklore passed down of such heroes, there is a certain few who do not fight for justice.

They fight to save themselves at the expense of other hopefuls.

In the mother planet of the Empire of Greniou, there are a great deal of amazing countries in the heavens above- Sky Domes, as they call it. Overlooking the surface below, each Sky Dome houses a variety of wealthy and fortunate citizens whom live in luxuries such as artificial seasons, environments, and technology of high degree. All of the nice accommodations the citizens of the Sky Dome countries were a gift and almost a way to spare themselves from the curse of an almost uninhabitable world below their feet.

Behind Greniou's dark and bloody past, only those of the sun goddess Zhenn's decent could ever settle in a Sky Dome under the belief that they were the purest of them all. Away from the danger that lurks underneath them, life was fantastic and simple.The rest that stayed behind in the dead surface world could beg to differ; they were those of Minsk's decent or of poor standing, cursed to adapt to extreme temperatures and periods droughts. Aside from the environment, there were other dangers too. Inoperables; Faceless man-obliterating giants dominate the dry and barren desert world that is Surface Greniou along with desperate feral animals and people who can no longer take the hunger and intense ambiance. Under the world in the heavens, there are people just wishing to be the lucky one to one day rise to a higher life. Unfortunately, even a wish can carry a heavy price.........

Envision a world where an almost eternal daylight can burn you alive without proper caution. Imagine living without food for days on end, depending on Sky Dome Relief Scouts for such necessities or taking things in your own hands. Paint a picture in your mind. A portrait of suffering in a world where salvation is only above you. What if you get a chance to petition your wish?​

With the plot intro out of the way, here's the point of Dreamscape:

With every 12 years that come to pass, the Sky Dome Provinces pardons draftee's from the surface world to hold a trial of skill, combat, and survival to a few volunteers. The prize, you may ask? A ticket to paradise..literally. 12 volunteers from each Surface World city will battle the harsh environment of their own world all while making sure their competition does not survive a minute longer. And those who truly make it rise the ranks to become Greniou's elite fighters...and claim their throne in the Sky World of Greniou.

Due to a couple of things, I am not entirely sure if this should be a Freeform roleplay or a Statplay. So for the moment this will just be a plot interest check. Like what you see? Post your interest below!​

LOL HUNGER GAMES. Naw, you'll be killing a lot more beasts and constructing weaponry than anything. I have no clue what castle in the sky is *shrugs*

 

OH THAT ONE HOW COULD I FORGET EDICKJUEIKSWCJUFVDEKIWSCJVFH-- Err, anyway. This roleplay is heavily leaning towards Statistical Roleplay status, but for the time being I wont make things official just yet.

If you're thinking about using that as your main, I can't make that happen. The RP is centered among a selected few who are from the Surface World, which in-fact is a land where technology hasn't and will not catch up with Sky World anytime soon. [If the surface world would've had more advanced tech, this RP would not have any business in existing now would it?] If anyone's curious enough as to why I slapped sci-fi onto this, it's mostly because of the things the players will be seeing and facing off during the entire ordeal:

-Cyborg/Android hunters known as "Nightprowlers". They are aided with stealth mechsuits to carry out surprise assults and stuff.
-Advanced weaponry provided by the hosts, The Sky World military. These weapons feed off your mana and can be costumized to your liking after each battle. Upgrades can be included, too. Think Deadspace for this one.
-The enclosed arena is surrounded by a force field that carries out fixed night/day cycles and provides the fighters with artificially made people (enemy civilians, as they will call them) and beasts normally found in Surface World and other planets (eventually)
-Hover vehicles such as the desert motorcycle. Will explain that later.
-Injectables of mana, nanomachines, enhancers. Etc.

But spaught, if that leaves you at a bad taste (for that I'm sorry ;^ you don't have to settle for having a non-robotic character. You could always make a robotic boss if you wish~
