  1. oh man speaking of crafting styles, im too damn impatient lol i really want to gain a few more lvls, activate my ESO plus, and go play in the Imperial City (preferably w a pal) because holy shit I NEED the ebonheart pact crafting style ;^; and apparently looting stuff in IC is the only way to get it??

though really i just want to get to a higher lvl so i can wear cooler clothes lol :p this is why im not usually a fan of MMOS, i get hung up on wow everyone else looks so damn bitchin' and then i go into super grind mode as opposed to just playing the game. i eagerly await the next single player Elder Scrolls game because thats definitely more my speed (though i am enjoying this game! i just dont feel as immersed in it because of the aforementioned reasons)

  2. The alliance crafting styles are definitely not exclusive to the Imperial City DLC (their achievements aren't in the DLC section) so I think that it's just that the Imperial City has a certain loot table because players are scaled up to Champion 150 in DLC zones. That seems to be why I got the Daedric crafting motif- you're not supposed to be able to get that at level 36, but I was in a scaled-up area.

  3. hm ok, everywhere ive looked trying to see where i might find the Pact motif just talks about how it was released with the IC DLC and can be found in the city. *shrug*
i really want to find it since im sure buying it would be super expensive

  4. What they probably mean is that they were released with the DLC's patch, which was made available for the base game. Like how the recent Dark Brotherhood patch came with the ability to make poisons.

Mostly Xivkyn armor (except greaves, 13k for the page jesus christ) and a Xivkyn greatsword. This motif is p. cool, much better looking that actual Daedric.

  6. "On all levels except physical, I am a Xiv."

  7. I think Nate meant, "On all levels except for my greaves"

  8. :'O oh man i want all the cool veteran tier motifs. youre looking very snazzy dude!

*continues on quest to grind my crafting skills*

in other news, I finally got a horse today! :p I sold two Kuta runes to get it but now i dont have to worry about my toon's shitty microscopic stamina pool when im trying to run halfway across the map

  9. You looked better in black and gold

  10. ZOS is removing all PvE alliance zone restrictions! http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2016/06/12/matt-firors-message-from-be3

What this means is that @Skolli, @Riolais, @Starrie and @Keileon can come to Craglorn and the upcoming Murkmire adventure zone with me and be scaled to the appropriate Champion Rank (usually 110 to 160) automatically, and instead of zones like Glenumbra or Reaper's March being off-limits to people not on Cadwell's Silver or Gold (and thus, people not Level 50 or higher), ZOS is leting anyone from any alliance go to those zones, and they'll be scaled to the appropriate CR for their alliance.

  11. While it sounds cool on paper I'm unsure how much I like it or how well it'll work in practice.

I mean, I like being overleveled when blasting through quests and world bosses I skipped for achievements. I like the challenge of navigating a level 40 zone at level 20-something. I like picking up low-level materials to either make a bunch of things to sell or to supply my alt characters with material.

  12. I'm very excited for this change because, yay! I won't need to power level my alts! :'D which is great because I'm  the kind of person who would get waay too invested in that shit.

The downsides are that there will be more people wandering around whatever zone youre in so there will probably be more douche bags who loot snipe (hopefully not but you never know).
I really enjoy the personal challenge of soloing an area 10 lvls higher than I am for the hell of it so scaling would take away that challenge (unless they do a sort of median level scale since each zone changes levels as you get further in - I don't know how they scale the current dlc areas)

Upside, I can start in whatever alliance too and it won't impact playing with friends!

I think they said this update I'd coming Fall 2016 so we still have a few more months before it launches.

  13. Most DLC zones are VR15/16 (CP150/160) uniformly, regardless of size--Wrothgar is huge and it's still battle-leveled to CP150. Everything in the zone is the same level because DLC zones are meant to be played after you beat the main story. You CAN go to them before then, it'll just be harder for you since you don't have the right gear.

To that end, there'll still be a bit of challenge in the later alliance zones with this since you'll still be underleveled gear- and passives-wise.

  14. Hit CP130, made new armor.

  15. Holy shit. I just cracked a master safebox using my track pad. I only broke one pick and I didn't get caught lmao

(guy in the zone chat was mindblown, it was great)

((I do have a mouse but I couldn't be bothered to find it for the 5 mins I intended to play for))

What? That literally should not have happened. My internet was fine and I wasn't even typing in chat, I was talking to an NPC.

Oh well. In related news, I finished the God of Schemes quest and thus the main story. Sort of. Again, the game booted me out for no reason. As in, I was talking to Cadwell and the game exited the dialogue, Cadwell faded into oblivion, and the game froze before I got sent to the title screen. And then it wouldn't let me log back in. Welp.

At least I'll get the dye I wanted all this time when I can log back in.

On a dye-related note, Noxophilic Black >>>>> Obsidian Black in terms of getting a dark, pure black color.

and the golden saint armor costume looks fucking fantastic as Noxophilic Black/Hlaalu Gold/Noxophilic Black
