Why, I assume that was the day we decided to leave them behind and move forward….far far away from the Daigjin(Syelsumoii)…​

I know the soul is vital.​

But what would you call it when—could there be a term for a soul forever shackled to what was destined to be? ​

We are subjugated since the day we arrive in this isolated world.​

So when you want freedom this badly, you’re always offered no alternatives. ​

You must leave your soul behind to burn in the flames…to hope that one day your flesh can protect the future you’re so ever-trying for. ​

War shapes everything, doesn’t it? Landscapes, that too. Maps? Yes…of course.

The Genome war was lengthy, though we considered it to be the most silent war in our reformed history. For the most part we fought back in quiet quarrels and raids. Hoping that the Daigjin would eventually brand us as an annoyance and leave us be. We, the Mantuanese, used to be peace loving folk. It wasn’t our intention to emulate the vast horrors of war that the Daigjin would teach us. But they did just that: They taught us, and we learned. The Daigjin did not leave us alone and used our world as a testing site for ballistic weaponry. And we silently wept as the worlds watched.

Then the Daigjin committed a grave sin.

They wanted to invade Paramushiir: the land of which none of us were able to touch. A respected nation holding the heritage of everything. And when the ships arrived, so did help. Greniou, Celaflora, among other worlds, stepped in with the goal of making sure the Daigjin would not harm Paramushiir’s guarded treasure: The Lifethread Convergence Point: Besparadon. And that is when the eve of Tactical Warfare and Espionage was born.

A task force dedicated to ripping the Daigjin Empire’s grip from the inside was formed. Many walks of life from every corner of the world was brought to this one group. One to end the war completely. Led by not a human, but a beast: Li-Ten Kiyerumi. Strike Commander of the Zhenka Shi Unit.

His unit bravely defied the Daigjin. Battle after battle, field after burning field and rotting corpses. The Strike Commander led his men and women well, expertly hitting Daigjin from the inside out. The Genome War earned it’s name, though, by the virus the Zhenka Shi Unit developed in the wake of the war’s final months. A virus capable of harming specific targets from a remote location. A plague…something that can harm the body and soul. A deadly weapon with after effects we could never again study. The Virus was used only once, then the creators…those who were part of the Zhenka Shi Unit, vanished.

The war ended in an archipelago just east of Kirenyun…half around the world. Strike Commander Li-Ten along with Captain Varen Varikoi took their unit, which was a small army by then, to the Fortress of Blood where the final stronghold of the Daigjin was located at. Strike Commander Li-Ten was foolish, however, as the mission was rigged…and he lost most of his men. His fate? It remains unknown….but my father who was a lieutenant at the time, took charge and brought end to this war and brought back the remaining members of this unit. After the war ended, those who were faithfully aligned to the world were given the task to amass a vast fortune called the Heaven’s Auxiliary. These funds were guaranteed to end any major war before it starts, if it starts. It was a safety net…and a curse for us ever since.

We called you here because you have some hidden value. Kirenyun needs safeguarding. The world is changing once again…and it’s time to pick a side. The Heaven’s Auxiliary Codes are in danger, war looms, and phenomena unlike we’ve ever seen are threatening our fragile way of life. This is why the second generation of the Zhenka Shi Unit was called into action.

So after three years, It's being revived

I guess this is a leap I'm now willing to take after so much time. QI's being rebooted completely. Why make a thread, you may ask? Mostly to remind people on what it was about and to make it "official" I guess. Anyway, with the reboot there will be some changes here and there in terms of how the Roleplay will be handled. Especially when it comes to posting speeds, pace, and participation. 

As for accepting new blood into this RP, I am willing to. However, this does require some knowledge of the Manaverse and the setting in general. This also asks for consistent posters-- No flakers~
