[Freeform] Streets of Melsborough

Yes, I know its a little late, but I still wouldn't mind a few more players, so I'm doing something I should have done a looong time ago.

Streets of Melsborough

Melsborough was a city like any other, filled with neon and women all the same. In it's prime, it was considered to be one of the successful cities of its time. Months passed and the city remained unchanged, In 1993 a vote was passed to elect a new mayor for the municipality. The mayor elected made promises any politician would: jobs, money, and all the biggers and betters you would expect for a planned speech. Though Melsborough didn't know it at the time, the success of that election would be the downfall of the town.

The mayor began starting up a vegas-like strip, and opened gogo's casino's and all the other fixings for "the tired working man." The city, now bigger and better on the outside was a economic failure. The mayor had put all the towns resources into opening things for tourists that would never come.... In other words, the town crumbled to dust in a matter of years.


Now those who are too crazy or stubborn to pack up and leave are met with poverty, and crime around every corner. Although not known to the common folk, the underground of Melborough is run by a Mafia, and Melsborough's darkest bowels harbor all the wealth and sins you'll ever need.

This is the fun part. you can make up a ligitimate reason for going here, like being exiled from a clan and forced to hide in melsborough, or pssible you've run out of gas and coin so you have to stay in the crime riddled streets. anything, just PM me so we can be sure that it all works out!

Your characters are meant to be mundane, but after that its your choice, if you want to be a epileptic clown with a addiction to helium, go ahead as long as you role-play accordingly and don't try to purposefully become a troll or spam. Yeah... :3
