Board Game Arena

  1. So there's this site I found with a pretty wide selection of board games ported to (I assume...) Flash. Though there aren't many common games, they have a good mix of old games (Can't Stop, Hearts, yahtzee) and new games (Hive... I really don't know what else is "new"). For a list of games, this link will take you there.

    Just gonna say that I'd be willing to learn just about any of these games, so long as other people are. I'll include in this post games that I know how to play, and if more people want to learn these games, maybe a spoiler'd list of the games on the site and who has learned those games, so it can be easier to know who you'd like to play with.

    Also, you have to register on this site, which I'd say is a fair cop. No paying, as far as I can tell.

    Anyway, the games that I've looked into or just know how to play are Can't Stop, Hearts, Hive, Puerto Rico, Saboteur, and Yahtzee.

  2. ^ I learned Hive and Puerto Rico tonight, both of which are great fun if I do say so myself.

    This site is actually quite nice in that there is no payment required, and it's certainly a step from CAH (not that I don't like that game, mind you, but it gets old fast) and it's a great way to spend time with you people outside of the IRC chat. :'3
