ARKNET Reborn: Pitchdark ~ Enter the Jungle

Discussion in 'Freeform Roleplays' started by Nebulon Ranger, Apr 30, 2012.

  1. "I would be one to declare it a forced conclusion rather than a necessary one." Jude replied, "Killing us is not necessary to Earth's survival if thought about in detail." He had said this without stopping to look back at TEN, as he was preoccupied with thinking about the possible ramifications of Dark's recklessness. He could have easily just alerted the enemy. Then, as if on command, Jude ducked as a strange, plasma-like shot sailed over his head. Luckily, he was near the front with Jack, Nathan and TEN, otherwise who knows who that could have hit. He suddenly jolted in the direction the shot came from, seeing nothing at first. Seeing nothing, until, that is, a sort of anthropomorphic lizard dropped from one of the trees on the other side of the clearing. It spoke of something in some indecipherable language, then pointed at the group and assumed a combat stance. This was a Relekath, and there were bound to be more out there, hiding somewhere. Soon, another one dropped from the same tree, followed by one to their left.

Dark shoved the photo in his pants pocket just in time to see the first Relekath appear. Shit! He thought, quick-drawing his blade and assuming a combat stance himself. Their first fight. Hopefully they would survive it.

  2. Rose quickly looked in the direction of the Relekath almost as soon as it had appeared. Rose was not exactly skilled at fighting, so she knew she would probably end up slowing down her own team if she did not quickly get back. Rose instinctively brought her hand down towards her waist as she crouched down in the back, and felt her hand brush across something metal. It was the 35mm. pistol she had brought with her. How exactly had she forgotten about this when landing? Unsure really, she pulled it out, as well as making sure the combat knife was where she could reach it, and prepared to defend herself.

Erkin seemed to be nowhere in sight, ever since the clearing ahead had shown up, he seemed to simply disappear, however no one really having noticed this yet. From the blood everywhere, he had assumed battle was close, and he quickly seeped down into his shadow, being nearly invisible to the naked eye. Sure enough, his suspicions of battle came to life, and he was already prepared, with his short sword in hand, and barely visible. Erkin quickly made his way around without letting himself be seen, trying to get behind the Relekath, where he would then preform one of his old techniques on it, a Bloody Stab.

  3. T.E.N. though about what Jude had said. "Hmm, I suppose we will see when the time comes." He was about to examine the site a bit more but he was cut short when a shot was fired in Judes direction. without a second though T.E.N. readied his own gun. He immediately noticed the Relekath, plus a few more. He aimed his gun, and shot a few towards the beast, after a few moments he elevated his voice to the rest of the group. "I could use someone to flank! Always be on your guard, we don't know what they're capable of!"

Drudo practically juggle his gun in front of his face as he heard all the shouting. Though after he took aim, it was as if her were a new person. His expression steel, breath fluid and his aim solid. He pressed down on the trigger, and fired at least six shots into the Relekath, though in the smoke and confusion of T.E.N.'s loud but effective gunfire. He looked around at the rest of the group, most of them springing into action. noticing Rose's 9mm, he gave a quick roll over to her. He gave a quick but serious look at her as he grabbed the knife he had given her. He pressed a small button, tranforming it into a small handgun, obviously much more powerful than Rose's 9mm. "high caliber, this button to change between bullet and laser fire, the green button to change forms." He listed off the functions quickly, retaining his mature attitude. He flashed her a quick wink before pulling back into the fray.

Both T.E.N. and Drudo were fighting well, whether it was well enough was still a mystery. T.E.N. was constantly taking quick glances at the others in the group making sure no backup was needed, or if someone was planning to backstab him...

  4. Nathan continued his wary gaze about the ground, seeing the earth soak up the spilled liquid of life. He closed his eyes, listening to the words of the others. The cyborg-like being made perfect sense; all throughout history, throughout every religion, there were sacrifices to please somebody, something, to prevent destruction of the rest of the population. What horrified him deep inside however was the fact of how it was applied to their situation. Sent to this world believing they were to do good for their own worlds, only to be made victims to the savage doings of what the true, hidden purpose has in store. Was it really all that simple to the government systems?...

Nathan jumped at the whistle of energy sizzling through the air, the crack of earth breaking upon impact. Instinctively, metal guard met flesh as Nathan's hand gripped onto the handle of his blade, eyes immediately catching and focusing on the source. Shimmering multi-colored scales, writhing serpentine tails, savage knife-like teeth, and worst off: the stare. Gaze hungered for battle. An ultimate killing machine of biological diversity. With a slight hesitation out of immediate intimidation, Nathan finally pulled his sword from its sheathe, the fine sound of metal ringing and proclaiming its offensive activity emanating ever so slightly through the air. Nathan's mind blanked, beginning to panic slightly. He'd never in the slightest prepared himself for this moment! Taking some quick breathes, he kept his defensive stance, staring warily and almost shockingly at each of the reptilian beings.

  5. Reacting quickly, Jude forsook his blades for the revolvers he had in Hammerspace. Putting the swords on his back, he trained a revolver at one of the reptilian beings, firing several shots off in its direction. Two sailed over its head, ricocheting off nearby trees, while one hit it square in the leg, debilitating it. The bleeding Relekath first hissed something inaudible to its squad-mates, then barked something -- surprisingly in English this time -- at the group. "You... freaks... will not see our defeat." Then it came again. Several plasma shots sailed into their small crowd. Jude, being in front, held up one of his blades, into the path of the oncoming beams, in an effort to deflect them. "And you are of the notion that, after killing our families and destroying our very livelihoods, you may walk all over us? We shall see who faces defeat!" He declared proudly, sword held high.

Meanwhile, over by the lifeless body of Alexis, Dark was fighting his own battle with a Relekath who had decided to melee him. Not a good idea, at least, in his books. "Think you can beat me?! Well, good luck!" He shouted, slashing at the reptile several times. But wait a minute, something was off. He seemed to be slashing a lot faster than he had been when defending himself back on Earth. Was this to do with him being a vampire? He didn't know, but it seemed likely, what with the legends of how fast Jude was that were floating around shortly before the initial attack on Earth. He decided to not concentrate on that so much as landing some hits on the Relekath in front of him, which seemed to be blocking him with effort.

Jack seemed to be having a little tougher a time defending himself, as with ever shuriken he shot, a plasma beam would come out to meet it, making it harmlessly explode on its way to its target. The shots seemed to be coming from the debilitated Relekath though, which is weird, considering their guns looked to require two hands for operation, and it was holding its left leg in one hand. How was it shooting?

  6. A small circular shadow crept up behind one of the Reptilian creatures. Going unnoticed by much anything really. At least, not until the Reptilian creature randomly started screeching in pain, and attempting to hold onto the cut on its back. It was Erkin of course, with his short sword and Plane Walk ability. Quite a deadly ability at that, the ability to not be seen and attack. Erkin pulled the dagger out of his other smaller sheath, and then attempted to jab the dagger into the neck of this beast.

Rose on the other hand was keeping to the back of the group, not exactly being much of a fighter. She looked out into the little battle scene that was going on, and just stared at it for a minute, until she heard a large sound coming from behind her. "Eeek!" Rose yelled in a bit of fear, as she quickly pulled out a flask and through it in the direction. The flask hit something, although she was not sure what. Looking over, she saw that the flask of blinding liquid hit a Relakath, which had gone around and attempted to flank them. Thinking quickly, not exactly wanting to die, Rose pulled out her pistol, while the Relekath was still gripping its eyes in pain, and shot at the creature with the entire clip. 5 of the bullets simply missed, and glided back into the woods, but one of them did hit the creature, but only in the arm. If anything, that would only anger the Relakath even more. Rose backed away from the creature a bit, hoping that this would not be her end.

EDIT: Fixed up this post majorly, sorry for it taking so long, now the RP can finally get moving again...

  7. T.E.N. fought mercilessly. Aiming for the head whenever he could. it was unclear to him how many direct hits he made, but over the sound of shrieks he had reason to believe he was fighting well. He could feel his core heating up more than he had expected. It had been a while since he had been in a serious fight, perhaps he should've prepared better. For once T.E.N. was worried, it wasn't' often you had to worry about accidentally blowing yourself up due to overheating.

T.E.N. felt something pop as a small amount of dark smelling smoke began to bellow out of his chest. Had he been hit? No it was just him over exerting himself -- And it hurt, however he ignored it and kept firing, he didn't stop to see if anyone else had taken notice, he was more concerned about killing everything in their way before making any sort of repairs on himself.

    ------------------------------------------

Drudo made sure he fought alongside Rose, for some unexplainable reason he was emotionally attached to her. He made sure that any blow -- Any at all was soaked by him or his armour. He was making good calculated shots, but all the noise was affecting his sensitive ears.

Drudo's mind was in a stasis of deep concentration and maturity, previously unseen by the other party members. "Reloading!" He shouted quickly as he fumbled for his rounds. they slid in with a click and a pop -- A pop? -- "No wait, that was T.E.N." he thought to himself, Drudo watched as T.E.N. briefly glanced at his chest in Agony, but continued firing despite his crippling wound.

  8. The hair on the back of Nathan's neck raised as the sound of the atmosphere sizzling to the soaring of plasma through it caught him immediately in a frozen stance. He didn't feel in the least bit prepared, finding his mind quickly buzzing with thousands of thoughts at once. What should he do, where should he go? Would he die? What would it feel to be hit by one of those plasma shots? Nathan felt a darkness begin to overwhelm his sight, feeling lightheaded....

    No.

Nathan shook his head, dropping to the ground as the sound of plasma swung dangerously close over his head, an obvious attempt at burning a hole through his skull. His breathing leveled as he forced himself to focus, his hand still gripping his faithful blade as he attempted to make notice of his surroundings. He noticed immediately a light launching toward him again at high speed, another shot to strike him while down. Immediately the nerved instinct rushed through him, a sudden pulse surging from his palms and launching him off the ground powerfully.

However, it was much stronger than he wanted, possible due to the adrenaline forcing his body into an overdrive of activity. Soaring through the air several feet above the ground, he twisted and flipped as best he could, positioning his feet down to catch himself and roll to take the shock, pulling his sword into a horizontal position to keep it out of the way. His mind blanked as he saw his direction: Directly at one of the Relekath. His blood ran cold midair as he knew his direction. Being vulnerable mid-flight, he knew something would happen. Nathan, at the last moments of being in the air, decided to yell out as he descended, pulling his sword forward as he hit the ground, dropping into a roll before stopping a few feet away.

Slightly disoriented, Nathan pulled himself up onto his hands and knees slowly, shaking his head as he attempted to grasp what had just happened. He could feel some sort of hot liquid on his face oozing down, causing him to panic. Pulling himself to his feet, he touched his face and gazed at his palm. Blood. He panicked immediately, only to realize something: He didn't feel any wounds. And the obvious fact he could tell by the textile density and the coloring that it wasn't his blood. Whose was it? Nathan's gaze directed around, before falling upon his impact zone a few feet away.

Two halves of a Relekath lay, the top half still twitching and causing him to shiver slightly. It was only then that he realized there was a source of light coming from somewhere. Looking down at the source, he saw his trusty blade, growing a bright blue before fading back to its usual cold steel. He smiled, laughing slightly but immediately stopping, as he figured laughing wasn't appropriate for right now. He felt his legs pulsing with pain from the impact, but nonetheless he was glad to be intact. Looking about, he raised his sword defensively, warily looking about to defend himself from the plasma shots and the predatory killer reptiles.

  9. As Nathan landed, the Relekath was sent reeling back into Erkin's dagger, impaling itself on it. It was bleeding quite profusely, as evidenced by the odd, greenish blood on Nathan's hands. Noticing an opening, Jude held his free hand out towards a Relekath, made a sort of "come here" motion to pull the reptile towards himself, and held out his blade arm just as the Relekath came within striking distance, effectively impaling it. Hmm... one left. He thought to himself, making a quick, blurred dash over to Dark and posed him this question, "Would you require assistance?" Not even waiting for an answer, he hooked his left foot in for a trip, instead meeting with a steadfast Relekath. Hmm... a brute force tactic like tripping them up does not seem to have much of a desired effect... He reached out to Jack with a bit of confidence that his stealth skills might come in handy, Jack, could you possibly make a best attempt at... hmmm... maybe stealth attacking this one?

  10. As Nathan landed, the Relekath was sent reeling back into Erkin's dagger, impaling itself on it. It was bleeding quite profusely, as evidenced by the odd, greenish blood on Nathan's hands. He reached out to Jack with a bit of confidence that his stealth skills might come in handy, Jack, could you possibly make a best attempt at... hmmm... maybe stealth attacking this one?

I'll get right on it. Jack thought back, quickly becoming invisible. He obviously wasn't sure if this would work quite as planned, given the briefing he had received before arriving on this God forsaken planet. Sneaking up behind the Relekath that was, as of yet, relatively undamaged -- despite the deep gash in its back, it didn't seem to want to give up, he attempted to land a knockout chop on it... only to somehow have it blocked. What the fuck?

Meanwhile, along with Jude, Dark was still madly slashing at the Relekath, missing every hit still more. He was beginning to get frustrated. "Why... won't... you... DIE?!" He exclaimed in frustration at the sheer number of times he'd been missing so far. That is, until he landed an especially lucky slash across the beast's face, barely missing its eyes. This sent the Relekath reeling in shock as it struggled to recover in time.

Jack remembered the other Relekath that Jude had impaled earlier. He looked in its direction -- it didn't seem to quite be dead yet, so he dashed over to it and pointed his wrist launcher at its head, shooting several shurikens at the debilitated beast's head and neck, hopefully killing it. As the final shuriken impacted, he noticed a few short, desperate squirms and spasms before it finally stopped moving, overcome by death. That meant there was only one left, though he assumed the others could handle it well enough without his help.

  11. T.E.N. Slowed his pace dramatically as his cannon slowed to a stop, he was in excruciating pain. His system let out a whine as more dark smoke bellowed out of him. T.E.N. dropped to one knee. "I... I need some assistance h--" His voice was cut off my something more deliberate. "System function #057 power levels critical... shutdown sequence strongly advised..." T.E.N. made a labored attempt to get up; but to no avail. Again he dropped, unable to work up the strength to lift himself. He held a cold metallic hand over his wound, simulating a check for blood.
    -----------------------------------------------------------
Drudo saw that there was only one Relekath left. He sighed in relief and smiled, returning to his immature self as he reloaded his pistol. He looked over to Rose; seeing no apparent damage he relaxed himself. He had no doubt that everyone else fared just as well, well, except that cyborg... It seemed to be in pain -- But how? it didn't have nerves; Drudo didn't quite understand, or really accept the fact that one of the smartest things among them was a cold 'emotionless' machine, however all those things would be dealt with in due time, for now they just needed to pick off the stragglers.

  12. Rose backed away from the dead Relekath, barely having time to react as he saw the thing chopped in half. Looking around in the other direction, she realized that the battle was nearly done. Through the blood shed however, she noticed T.E.N. on the ground, dropping to one knee, holding his hand over a wound which seemed to be leaking... blood? Rose was Unsure of how the robot could even have blood, but she rushed over to him anyways, knowing that either way, T.E.N. was probably in pain. "Hey T.E.N., you ok?" Rose asked, examining him a little more closely, hoping the wound was not as bad as it looked.

Mean while, Erkin was walking right up behind the Relekath, who was busy trying to evade Dark and Jude's attacks. Erkin joined in on the party, and attempted to lunge his blade at the creatures back while it was not looking.

  13. Nathan sighed as his surroundings were dying down, the team already have- surprisingly to his astonishment- dealt with the other of the reptilian grunts. With a shift in position, Nathan slowly began to near the last Relekath, despite everyone confronting it themselves. He kept a good distance, allowing the others to take their shots at it to finish it off. If the others couldn't, he'd gladly step in, but for now he was attempting to calm himself. His body shook with each breath he took, attempting to calm himself repeatedly with each huff of air. The thickness of this atmosphere was amazingly dense, making each breath like drinking water. Something that did not help cool him off in any way. He could already feel sweat all over his body, for the heat had not ceased since the start of the battle. His eyes darted from each felled body of each Relekath, he only wished the same on this last one so he could get out of there.

  14. T.E.N. Looked at rose, "I... I've blown my cooling system; in this humidity I could literally steam the cells in by brain to the point of my demise... Please, get me somewhere safe!" Though his voice was emotionless; he was not, and T.E.N. obviously couldn't fix himself alone. He looked down at his wound once more, it was leaking a simple fresh-water, used to cool his system down in the event of strenuous activity. T.E.N.'s gears were slowed severely in an attempt to keep the heat from rising too quickly.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drudo looked at the Relekath; surrounded by his companions. "I'll just let the others have some fun, besides I have something better to do..." He let his voice trail off as he walked over to Rose. "Anything I can do to... help?" he said with a smile. Drudo looked down at T.E.N. and raised a brow, "Surprised you're hurt, didn't think your kind could feel pain..." He was given no response, instead Drudo Knelt beside Rose and waited for an answer.

  15. "System function #057 power levels critical... shutdown sequence strongly advised..."

And then Jack realised what had happened to TEN. He quickly put his katana back in its saya and ran over to Rose and TEN. Upon arrival and inspection of TEN's person, he noticed the hole in his chest. Yes, his cooling system was busted, but this hole was irregular for that type of malfunction. It had a sort of direction to it -- like something had hit him dead on in that spot on a bit of an angle. Knowing what was just about to come to a close, it could only have meant one thing: TEN had been hit by a plasma shot. He looked at TEN straight on. "TEN, it wasn't you that damaged your cooling system. You were hit by a stray enemy shot."

  16. "Al-Alright". Rose said, while nervously deciding whether or not to stop looking, hating to see people in pain. "Alright, Jude! I need you to please help keep T.E.N. safe for a minute while I go gather a couple of supplies Ill need to stop the leaking. T.E.N. hang in there!" Rose then quickly ran off towards the edge of the clearing, and gathered up a couple pieces of wood, hoping that this would at least be a temporary fix. Rose then ran back up towards where she left Jude and T.E.N. without even a response having come out of them "Now with this, I should be able to make a temporary fix for you T.E.N., at least until we can collect some material other then wood. Also thanks Jude, I know I did not exactly give you an option there..."

Rose then went to work, and measured the hole on T.E.N.'s casing. right after, she cut out a circular piece of wood a little bit bigger, although with a second part on the bottom which was the same size as the hole. Then she popped it into the hole on T.E.N.'s casing, which she hoped would at least help long enough to keep the hole from leaking out any more fluid. "There... That should help you out a bit with at least plugging up the hole until we can get some better supplies T.E.N."

In the mean time, that final Relekath had finally been cut down by Erkin and the rest of the people cutting away at it. It surprised him that it took so much work to take out that one enemy, when he was able to take out one of the earlier ones in a couple moves. Erkin looked down at the creature, who was now down flat on its face. the final cut having been from Erkin's blade, or at least that's what he had thought. there where so many blows being dealt in there that it was quite hard to tell. He looked back up and rubbed the back of his head "Haha, perhaps we over did it a bit?" He said, then chuckling a little bit afterwards.

  17. Jack looked a tad confused by Rose's summoning of Jude. "Um, Rose? Why call him over here when I'm already pretty much right in front of you?" He asked, unsure of if she meant to say his name in place of Jude's. Then she ran off, confusing him even more despite her giving a reason. What the fuck? I'm confused now... He thought, mainly to himself, but he knew full well that Jude could hear him, She calls Jude over -- even though I think she meant to say my name instead of his, but barely gives me any time to react before running off like an idiot.

Then Rose returned, and Jack watched her fashion a sort of cork of the strange, exotic wood that they built their shelter from, and... shove in the hole in TEN's chest. That, despite TEN's lack of ability to fully display emotion, couldn't have been pleasant for him. After all, Jack had experienced a similar, albeit far more painful by several orders of magnitude, operation on his body when his entire skeleton was replaced. He was still surprised to this day that the operators managed to avoid damaging his brain.

Jude looked over from the final dead Relekath just as Rose shoved the cork into TEN's open chest. He grimaced, then grimaced again as TEN's current thoughts resonated in his mind. What does she think she is-- preceded a sort of mental grunt of pain. It was at that moment he decided to look away, to clear his mind of that rather unfortunate sight. It's not that he didn't care for TEN's plight, he just wanted to avoid concentrating too much on casualties of battle, as there were sure to be quite a few more of those as they continued their trek into the unknown depths of this Godforsaken jungle. Addressing Erkin, he said, letting out a hearty, but at the same time nervous chuckle, "That certainly is a valid assumption, but let us not get too caught up in our victory here. It is but one, and we have little idea of if we shall share any others."

Dark, seeing that the Relekath was now less than alive, pulled himself out of his rather uncomfortable-looking combat pose and sheathed his blade, looking at Erkin as Jude had just done. "Overdone it? Maybe, but I don't really think so." He said, laughing out loud for a bit before looking to Drudo, "So, you offer her a weapon..." He said, referring to Rose, "... and she seems to forget it exists. Granted, we were in a bit of a pinch, but still."

While the others were conversing amongst themselves, Jack took the time to investigate the path ahead. There was a shallow, fast-flowing river that didn't seem to have a ford crossing it and what appeared to be a huge, imposing monolith of a building on the other side. Clearly visible on the face of the building, near the right side of the roof from Jack's perspective, were two huge, greyish numerals: 03. He could only guess what these meant. Looking back at the others, he offered the simple suggestion that they get back on track with their mission and follow the path to wherever it may lead.

  18. Nathan lowered his weapon and sighed as he saw the last reptilian abomination fall to the ground, ceasing movement as the sickening green secreted from its opened veins. It made him scrunch up his nose in disgust; nothing came close to these things in comparison to reptiles on Earth. It was absolutely vile how they were, but what disturbed him more was their resilience and intelligence. Their weapons screamed doom to their efforts with what in comparison were primitive tools. It only sent shivers beyond what he could control down his spine, to the extent of him gagging slightly. The fact that beings like these existed, that they simply wished to destroy and use up what they could was enough to want to make him vomit. If only he didn't volunteer..

His attention then diverted to the one who he helped previously to strike through the thick vegetation. He seemed already focused on trying to find the path they had so deterred from. Nathan too began to look about, scanning through the undergrowth before his eye caught the Lycan already finding the path, transcending down its thick way to the unknown. Looking back at the main group, specifically to the robotic being that was in disrepair, his thoughts rolling about in his head. Then, with an affirmative nod (which seemed solely to himself), he turned and began dashing after the one known as Jack.

After what seemed to be a little trek, Nathan stopped abruptly by the lycan, his eyes immediately catching to the foreign mass of a building looming over. The sounds of splashing and flowing warned him of the raging current by the trail, giving him the notion that unless by other methods, they weren't going to be crossing to this building.

"What say you about this thing?" Nathan inquired to Jack. He hadn't a clue of what it was. Hopefully someone in the group could answer- or at least say it wasn't filled with the horrific reptiles.

  19. T.E.N. was rather irritated with Rose's primitive repair strategy -- It made him miss Gizmo even more. "Thank you Rose... but couldn't you have just crimped the pipe closed with some pliers?" T.E.N. said agitatedly. "Remind me next time you get impaled to shove a branch into your chest..." T.E.N. knew that wasn't the best thing to say, after all she was trying to help. However T.E.N. remained that he was the smartest one there; hating the fact that a so-called scientist was so incompetent. He projected a thought to Jude. "I'm disappointed in that girl, she claimed she was one of the smartest people on Earth. I've come to place that with all the other lies and conceited rumors I've come to despise."

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drudo slowly walked with Nathan, wanting to see whatever had gotten his attention. Taking a quick look he immediately saw the structure. It seemed to be an omen of what was to come. He hated staring at it. He felt as if he was staring death in the face, unable to look away. "Holy shit... I don't even want to know what things are in there." Drudo took a breath, "Honor and death." he muttered under his breath.

  20. "I really would have if I could have T.E.N., but sadly I have no metal working tools available with me... No pliers, or at the moment even a screw driver. As for if I had used bandages, well the pressure of the leaking would have simply soaked the bandage, and leaked right out the sides." Rose was explaining, as to why her rash actions and primitive technique had to be used. "Perhaps a little bit more warning would have been nice for you, but I was just trying to stop you from losing all of your cooling fluid. I wouldn't blame you if you think less of me for the primitive technique which had to be used". Rose said, somewhat apologizing to T.E.N. for the extra pain she may have caused him while stopping the leak.

Noticing Jack head up the path which the Relekath had come out of, Erkin decided not to waste any time back in the clearing, and tailed Jack up the path. Hehe, you know I could get used to this... If all the battles are that easy, then it could get quite fun... Erkin thought to himself, while running up the thick jungle path, strewn about with many shades of green, and shadows from the vegetation. Nearly at the end of the thick jungle path, he could hear the sound of rushing water, and he could see the light pushing through the leaves. He broke through the end of the path, catching up behind Jack, seeing two others there. Nathan, and Drudo. Looking towards the direction they were, he saw a large, seemingly abandoned building with the numbers 03 on the side.

"He, I would have to agree with you there Drudo... Who knows what could be in there? Its almost exciting, but then again, we were sent here against these creatures anyway now weren't we?" Erkin said to Drudo, Jack, and Nathan. "The only problem is that there is this river here... Any idea how you guys will get across? I'm covered because... Well, I have wings."
