You guys are too fucking sweet stop that. I'm working on getting less tangenty and rambly. I do better when I have another person there. My mom asked me the other day who "Rando" was, and that's just my friend John. We're just joking around.

@Eebit I host it on Thursday nights so I can spend my Friday night drinking. There's another show I go on though on Tuesdays called "Sounds Like WZBT" which is the music department playing the stuff we add into rotation. Since I direct that department, I go on often. We haven't done it much the last three weeks because of Chaos(TM) but if you want to catch me there....

@"Gold Dullahan" That song is also in the Bernie Sanders rally mix. It's fantastic. I was so happy when I heard it.

 

FUCKING HELL!

So uh... guess what? I lost Internet at home until Friday! Yeah! Granted, I'm apparently getting better Internet then, but seriously?! And of all times for this to happen, it happens now?!

I mean there's the collegenet, but that's super unreliable, and it's Thanksgiving week, so I can't use this for that long! And I have a hotspot on my iPhone, but I'd rather not have to rely on that for an extended period of time...

Aaaaaah... Why, technology? Why do you hate me so much?

 

But in this particular case on Tuesday it's with more cool people.

I was pretty negligent in getting to hearing your last few Red Lipstick Radio broadcasts more of my own volition than anything. No real Trivia Thursday obligations or anything :5, just kinda was caught up in my own mind a lot during the beginning and middle of this month and trapped in my own stir-craziness. I'm looking forward to your coming days hosting; you do an awesome job, even with your rambles (that I legitimately enjoy and see no problem in, lmao). In the meantime, though, you definitely deserve your rest at home. Cheers to a rosy holiday season, palaroo.

Since I was just a young pupper, sneezing hellfire out of every other orifice, I've been inspired by the exploits of your daring squad of reindeer, and your own grand mandate. While my other siblings, some of them with more heads, some of them with less, have gone on to carve out their own great bloody feats, I've been stuck by the gates to the Underworld, noteworthy only for getting carried off like a little bitch by Hercules and getting defeated by a few shounen protagonists. I want an adventure of my own, you know? To actually accomplish something and get Hades to finally recognize me. I figured, if I could help a powerful mythical being like yourself in his hallmark duty-- delivering gifts to young children the mortal world over, all in one night-- and maybe bring a couple thousand innocent souls and a handful of major cities to their dooms along the way, I might finally get that feeling of self-fulfillment. So please, big man! Please let me guide your sleigh! I promise I won't let you down! I'll even try not to eat any of the other reindeer if you deem fit to give me this opportunity!

lmao I found out that Austin was acting like a creep to a promoter too. Literally so much of college radio was pissed off at his existence. Reactions have been interesting

• Spoke first to the promoter he got creepy to. Ranged mainly from taking pictures of her, making them his desktop, and sending screenshots to her to at one point saying she could be his wife. She was grossed out by the situation and unfriended him on literally everything.
• Second promoter I spoke a bit to was like "well kinda glad he's gone because he's an ass, sucks it was at her expense, but kinda sucks someone who cared about college radio went down like that."
• Third is like "GOOD HE SUCKS. sorry it had to happen to you because it's so fucked up but FUCK YEAH HE'S GONE AND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT"

I'll probably hear more about this in the coming days. That'll be fun. I love twitter conversations like this. Maybe this is all good because that means more people will send me records because I'm nice to them and got rid of Austin. College Radio Sweetheart, that's me! For like two seconds until I have to start saying no.

@Eebit - I thought the best had already come and gone with your previous professor that you liked streaming on Discord for us all to witness his aching mediocrity (if you could even call it that)! :5 Cheers, boy-o. Here's the an intriguing semester ahead!

Well, I guess I should say that I'm back from a little hiatus. I never really planned on going anywhere, but in the past month, my grandma passed away and my family and I had to deal with all of the cremation and funeral arrangements, I went back to work, I went back to school, I've found out that I need to take two supplementary exams at the community college to fulfill my credit hours since my financial aid has now been run dry apparently, and... I've otherwise just really been genuinely enjoying my "real" life out there in the physical world for once! The first week of the new year was a bunch of meetings with friends both in and out of music, catching up with them, and preparing for a really productive 2017 - and for the sake of padding, I'll post more about this in Release Your Positivity! a bit later. :5
