Vocabulary Size

  1. A fifty-question "test" of your vocabulary (basically, 50 synonym/antonym questions of varying difficulty) that are used to appraise your vocabulary size. I found this on Twitter and thought it'd be interesting to see the results of it before I realized it was fifty questions long rofl.

    The problem I have with this is it just tests if I can see a word and know what it means, which I'm okay with. I'm just horrible at thinking of words to use when I talk.

    The funny thing is I'm pretty sure I misread "synonym" as "antonym" and vice versa a few times so my score might be higher than that

    So maybe I'm a massive idiot but some of the questions felt like they were asking for the 'best' synonym/antonym out of two possible.

  14. No, yeah, me too! I went back in to find the specific question, and the one I really had this for was when it was asking for the synonym of "deal" because I was a big loser and was somehow torn between "sale", "recoup", and "claim". Claim was more likely but, y'know, sometimes the other ones are just a bit too close to the subject matter to feel super confident ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
