    Achievement: Guard the Way - Prevent the Crossroads Sign (G7) from being destroyed. Even though it is in an inconvenient place. [10 Achievement Points]

    Atmosphere: All Alone - A town enclosed in snow and darkness, writhing with tormented memories and plagued with infernal shadows... stepping away from the only friendly faces in sight makes you feel even more vulnerable than usual. Ally Units which are not within 2 Cells of at least one other Ally Unit take +15% Damage Input and are more likely to be afflicted with Negative Status Effects.

    Zuzia gazes at the Crossroads Sign (G7)...

    Your attempts to read the wooden post prove fruitless. The words blur into a smoky haze, as if they're evading your line of sight. The longer you stare at it, however, the more you feel your consciousness smeared across space. Visions and whispers from each branch of the crossroads float across your mind.

    Tall, twisted shapes dance in the west. Shadowy creatures not unlike the ones which threaten you now lurk there, supervised by an especially nightmarish beast which would appear to be their kin.

    To the north sits an inscrutable figure which takes in its surroundings amid feelings of sadness and solitude. Lamps flicker anxiously and icicles quiver dangerously on the boughs from which they hang as he attempts to rein in his emotions.

    In the east dwell three silhouettes, positioned in the middle of the town's square. Their intentions are unreadable, but they regard the world around them with regret.

    And lastly, from the south come waves of timorous sobs. A child lies immobile in the snow, alone but for the cold and the walls of ice surrounding them. You could be imagining it, but other people seem to be meandering around the young human, but they appear as afterimages. As if they are not really there.
