    and they look like Lillie and Lusamine

    and UB-01 is shown emerging in the Aether Paradise

    Guys, the Ultra Beasts aren't these human characters.

    They are made from these human characters.

    So in probably the most confusing update to follow, the Japanese Pokemon site updated with UB-02 Expansion and UB-02 Beauty. And at the moment, there does not seem to be a trailer to accompany them... Yeah, I don't know what's going on either... Though to be fair, I don't think there'd be enough for a trailer on just these two without giving too much away... Still weird though... Either way, more news on the 20th...

    I... I just don't get it...

    From the people who do the Pokemon anime.

    On a video that had no material from the Pokemon anime.

    Copyright strikes last three months and cut your video length to 15 minutes.

    Part 3 is at least an hour long and SM come out in two months.

  7. Bank support for Sun and Moon in January 2017 because they suck at doing things on time with Bank, but that's not the focus of this post...


    It's the 20th, so new trailer. Here it is while I take a few minutes to watch it myself and get everything together.

    Alright, so new Pokemon.

    As confirmed previously, Lycanroc's forms are version exclusive (booooo!!). Both are Rock-types and have Keen Eye as a possible ability. Midday Form has Sand Rush as another ability, while Midnight form has Vital Spirit.

    Passimian is exclusive to Sun, and it appears to be one of the Pokemon refered to in the Chinese rumor. It is Fighting-type with the ability Receiver, allowing it to take its partner's ability when the partner faints.

    Oranguru is exclusive to Moon. It is Normal/Psychic with either Inner Focus or Telepathy as its ability. It has the new move Instruct, which allows it to have its target use the move it just used again.


    Trainer customization uses Festival Coins, and allows you more options like removing your hat (as seen in another trailer) and dying your clothes.


    We also get a look into our Pokemon-Amie for the generation, Pokemon Refresher. Seems a bit more focused on keeping the Pokemon groomed, though as a result you can remove status ailments from your Pokemon. It also seems to have some of the same benefits as Amie.


    Adding on to Pokemon-exlusive Z-moves, we have ones for Pikachu and Eevee. Pikachu has the damaging Z-Move CatastroPika. Eevee has Extreme Evoboost, in which it gets power from all of its evolutions, boosting all of its stats by 2 stages.

  12. Yeah, I was just thinking about that.

    Too bad that Mega Khan is uber. Maybe use Oranguru in Uber where it'll get destroyed (give it a Focus Sash?) or use it with, idk, Quiver Dance Volcarona or Dragon Dance Garchomp.

  13. Okay in all fairness, I should go over the Pokemon Bank stuff.


    What I said about Sun and Moon compatibility being added in January 2017 is true. So... yeeeaah...

    Pokemon from RGBY are sent to the Gen VII games through the PokeTransporter. As a refresher, this was how you got Pokemon from the Gen V games to Gen VI, so if you have Bank, odds are you have this too.

    Transfer from Gen VI to Gen VII is a one-way trip.

    And finally, Pokemon Bank will have a National Pokedex feature added to it in the same update as the one coming in January 2017.


    And as an additional note, through screenshots of Pokemon Bank, Rowlet was confirmed as Pokemon #722. Not really surprising, but yeah... Sorry Magearna, you don't get to be the Victini of Gen VII.

  14. I'd like to point out this note from Serebii:

    Pokémon Green, Red, Blue & Yellow will get through Pokémon Bank via Poké Transporter. They won't be able to be sent to Generation VI games. Any Pokémon sent to a Gen VII game from a Gen VI game, will not be able to return to the Gen VI games. Pokémon Bank will also receive a special mode to view the Pokédex.

    This doesn't hurt my Missingno theory. I hope it's a thing. I really do.

  15. That was actually something stated the day these games were officially revealed. Though to be fair, that was like back in February, and people probably forgot about that. So it's likely that they brought that point up again to remind them. Or just to reveal that fact to people who weren't paying attention.

    And actually, while the general fact that Pokemon from RGBY would be able to be transferred to Sun and Moon through Bank was also stated back then, the specific use of PokeTransporter wasn't. It was probably meant to be implied, but... yeeeaah...

  17. OK so looking at the ub-02 thing, my first thought was "wow somebody was like hey I wonder if I can make a sexy cockroach pokemon"  and everyone else was like yep this is cool good stuff lmao

    I'm actually kinda digging the edgy werewolf pokemon haha..

    - Jangmo-o evo
    - Vikavolt
    - Rowlet evo OR Salandit evo

    I know I already posted this team, but this has a bit more finality in that Jangmo-o is almost guaranteed.

    The weirdness with Alolan Exeggutor continues as a new move was revealed today. At the end of an episode of Nintendo Japan's YouTube show, Sun and Moon was briefly showcased, with Alolan Exeggutor using a new move called Dragon Hammer...

    Starter evolutions!

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKAY, we have quite the update here!


    First off, our starter evolutions, conveniently the only new Pokemon revealed this time.

    Rowlet evolves into Dartrix, still Grass/Flying.

    Litten evolves into Torracat, still pure Fire.

    [​IMG]
    And Popplio evolves into Brionne, still pure Water.


    Next off, we have the reveal of Festival Plaza. Here, you can play games to earn Festival Coins to spend at various shops, including one that can raise a Pokemon's EVs.


    You feel like Pokemon in the PC don't have enough to do? Well then, Poke Pelago is here for you. On Isle Abeens, they can attract wild Pokemon. On Isle Aphun, they can get you some items. And on Isle Evelup, they can raise their EVs.


    As people were expecting, Mega Evolution has been confirmed for Sun and Moon.


    Finally, something that's been teased for a while by varying sources, the demo version of Sun and Moon is to be released on the 18th. In this, you are able to utilize a Greninja with the ability Battle Bond. Upon knocking out an opponent, this ability triggers, transforming the Greninja into everyone's favorite anime ninja frog...

    Ash-Greninja! Much like the Steelix/Glalie and other items in the ORAS demo, this Greninja can be transferred to Sun and Moon.


    And before I forget, more news on the 14th.
