  4. You know weather hates you when you're only 6 days into hurricane season, and you already have a tropical storm to deal with.

    It also isn't helping that there's a tornado warning for a couple of counties southwest of me right now.

    Yeeeaaah.... It's just one of those days, I suppose...

  8. I've been gone for a little over 2 weeks and it feels like it's been a solid decade. That is very weird. I have to admit that, in the face of tragedy, I'm still feeling a bit oddly removed from myself and not fully into Jonno-tastic behavior, yet, but I'm getting there and feeling excited enough for E3 that I figured I could muster up excitement fro ZEJ again, too. I'll probably give an overall update on where I've been and what's been going on in Real Talk somewhere not soon from now, but for now, it's nice to be back around.

  11. Short review on the Divergent book series:

    Divergent: Good book. Strong start to the series. Nice character development. Read in a single sitting.
    Insurgent: Mixed feelings. Nothing noteworthy. No real character development except for a single "arc" of the story. Read in two sittings.
    Allegiant: Mixed feelings. Lost interest partway through and took a while to pick it back up. No real character development. Strange ending I'm not sure was good or bad.
    Four: Decent. Not a prequel- snippets from Divergent told from another character's viewpoint. Spoilers for Divergent and Insurgent. Character development expands on what we already knew.
