Final Fantasy Tactics: Binding the World Together Profile Thread

    Time... it is a mysterious thing. In one moment of time, all could be well... then the next, it could be worse. Time causes people to move, and worlds to change. All of this, simply caused by its flow. Along with time, there is Space. By space, meaning more than what is just out there, but what is right here as well. Space is everywhere, yet no where at all. Of course, everyone knows about Time, and Space... but what everyone does not know, is about what Binds Them Together....

    Between space and time, there are strings. This string is what keeps us together. It stops chaos from spreading out, yet at times it is known as the reason chaos is created. These strings are known as Law. The law is kept by beings known as Judges, and these Judges also protect the law as well. When the law falls apart, so do the laws of time, and space. And when Time and Space is gone from the world... what is there left? The answer? Nothing.

    Now... the very existence of not only Ivalice, but the entire world is at stake. Chaos has been spread throughout the land, and new monsters are popping up everywhere, appearing from rifts created by tears in the space-time continuum. These rifts are opening up everywhere, and where they open, the area around it changes. The way time flows, and the way the land is shaped all changes. 

    Eventually, the entire world will be covered in these rifts, freezing time and space in place. There is hope however... The Judge Master has been gathering together more and more people, and is getting them to create as many clans as they can. With these clans all out there, working together for the better good, a way may just be found to close the rifts. 

    They Need to save the world.... They need... to Bind. the World. Together.​


    Alright! So, now that you have read, or perhaps re-read that if you saw the interest thread, I think I should get started. After some interest, I decided to get this up and running. 


    To start with, these are the available races and jobs, as well as the skills which are needed to be mastered to advance to the next level of them. Each job has different advantages, and disadvantaged, such as being able to slash any enemy apart you wish, or the ability to steal from your enemies. The only limit is the classes capabilities.You can even multi-class at later levels, if you wish. Its actually necessary to get some of the later classes.

    Here is where you will put any skill you learn, such as Air Rend, or Body Slam. There is also AP, which can be earned through battles. When you have obtained enough AP, you can use a skill any time without having to equip the necessary equipment. Currently, you will have no skills other than your basic attack, unless you are a Black Mage, White Mage, Animist, or Thief. I will fill this out in the beginning.

    Appearance: Mi’yuna is of average height, with waist length hair which is purple with light blue tips. She also has large light blue eyes. She has a medium brown complexion. The jewel accessory on her hair is used as her personal kunai or quick projectiles in case she ever gets into trouble. Mi’yuna prefers to wear dark, tight-fitting clothing for ease of movement.

    Biography: Mi'yuna is a notable but friendly thief who spends most of her time relaxing in the forest. She is efficient but rather lethargic. Instead of training to increase her abilities, she’d rather goof off and play around with the wildlife in the forest. Being a carefree person, not much seems to bother her. She is energetic and wild so she is always on the go. Due to staying in the forest for the majority of her life, Mi’yuna tends to act more rambunctious and with less grace and decorum than the other thieves. Instead of taking the time to plan to steal, or pull a heist, she’d rather just go out and snatch whatever piques her interest. Because of her explosive personality, she tends to act without thinking and lets her emotions get the best of her. Despite that, she will always strive to help those in need and never let anyone down. Well, when she isn't on the job that is.

    Appearance: He's about 5"11, with white skin, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He's a bit thin, but only slightly. He usually wears the usual Black Mage attire, with the robes and hat, and everything.

    Biography: He grew up in the city, where he took an interest in magic when he was growing up, eventually gaining an apprenticeship to a local Black Mage. He studied for years, before finally finishing his apprenticeship.

    Appearance: Venase is a tall woman garbed completely in loose black garments that cover her armor which only covers her body. Her long, slender legs can be seen when she walks, pushing past the cloth that hangs down past her waist. She wears an exotic clawed gauntlet on one hand while her other remains free and dainty. The look in her face is innocent, yet there's an appeal about her honey-colored eyes that makes her seem sweetly dangerous. Her facial features aren't sharp nor are they plump, but more evenly rounded with a smaller nose and a cute mouth with subtle lips, pale in color which contrasts her much dark skin. Also juxtaposing her dark, flawless skin is her long flowing white hair, messy, yet beautiful and lusterous, flowing down her back like a waterfall.

    Biography: Originating from nature as most Viera do, Venase proved to be a rather malicious oddball from the start, though not in an entirely bad way.  She was not one to stay confined in the village and definitely didn't follow the rules that were dictated to her.  As such, she wound up breaking away from the village and started freelancing in her teens.  With her skill with the rapier, she was able to make a decent living for herself, and she persists to do so even to this day, despite the danger that is posed to her.

    Appearance: The twenty-six year old Bangaa looks quite weathered for his period of time on the battlefield. His tongue is forked slightly, having been split at the very tip by about two centimetres, and his scales are a tealish colour. They are marred slightly over his right eye, with a black, charred outline stretching down the right side of his face. Other than that, he bears the typical appearance of a Bangaa, with a height of about an even six feet. He has the eyes of a snake; topaz with shadowed slits threatening to eclipse the dangerous irises given the right light shining. Overall, Gerner takes on a daring appearance of one who has seen many battles... and truth be told, he has, and will continue to serve for as long as he is able to stand on his own two legs.

    Biography: Born and raised a city-slicking Bangaa, Gerner was never quite content with hearing tales of battle. Like most Bangaa, he hungered to see his blade delve into the flesh of a monster. Throughout his early years, he prepared himself to enter a Clan, so as to gain notoriety in circles just as his father had before him... though he planned to be more than his father, who died after being abandoned by his own Clan on the field of battle - a Jagd. Though Gerner holds some level of remorse for his father, his fuel of revenge and honour hold him higher than how he saw his father. He vowed to become someone stronger - someone able to protect himself when others abandoned him, and someone who was strong enough to bring order to the world when ruthless killers came. Ever since, he has been working as a mercenary, and something of a vigilante, protecting the weak.

    Appearance: Like all Nu Mou, Thánatos looks aged and wise, although he is but a spring chicken in Nu Mou age. He also has the hunch and stunted figure characteristic of Nu Mou, as well as the long shaggy fur and droopy ears. Thánatos' eyes are a dulled indigo , and his fur is tinged with a faint slivery-white, unlike most Nu Mou. A little more practical than others, Thánatos wears mail-scales over his tail, as well as over his ears, instead of the usual earrings.

    Biography: Belonging both to the forest and to the town, Thánatos shares a close affinity to nature as well as an innate sympathy for people, prompting him to learnt he healing arts. Having been raised in a very orthodox and traditional setting, Thánatos is very close to rituals and tradition, and can be a little superstitious at times.
