“Young and old lie together in the dust of the streets; my young men and young women have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of your anger; you have slaughtered them without pity." (New International Version, Lamentations 2:21) ... You're in bad company, and you are not a savior. _________ Your story will start on the wrong side of the moral scales. Whether it stays that way is up to you. There is no real planned plot, and ultimately this serves as an experiment in mechanics and what could be.For all intents and purposes, I'm more of a GM figure. You will talk to NPCs, have an inventory, and interact with your environment. This is Bad Company, and I am not a player.
Way to put the /r/dungeonprompt image into good use, Goldy D! I'd be game for this, I think it shows promise. Not sure how much I can contribute in terms of characters that start "on the wrong side of the tracks," so to speak, but maybe it's high time to actually create a new face for something like this.
I was just informed that I could technically make my own statplay system so the whole point of trying too see how many mechanics I can shove into a freeform roleplay without actually making it a statplay seems not so much moot, but definitely unnecessary. That said, Bad Company will not be happening, or at the very least not right now.
